raminator Posted August 6, 2014 Author Posted August 6, 2014 I'm currently reworking the gfx for the heads and torsos of both figures. I'm also working on 3-5 other figures. I have to experiment with / test the legprinting option from "Steindrucker"...so I start with simple stuff first. greetings Quote
raminator Posted September 4, 2014 Author Posted September 4, 2014 (edited) Hello everybody. Here´s again some Update on Yellow Jacket and Ant-Man. The Belt-Design changed on both and I added the shoulder-stripes to Ant-Mans back aswell. Also I tried something new on the Heads. Got some inspiration from Phoenix´s Red Bird here, because it is fooking awesome! Legs are printed too (just on the front). Ant-Man looks almost perfect to me. Yellow Jacket needs some tweeks (it seems to look like he has a camel toe ^^) and the color is no perfect match yet. New this time are Dare Devil and another Batman variant (I don´t know how he is able to sneak into my Marvel Figs). I think both look pretty good except Batman´s chin (some printing error here). Also There´s some more detail on both black heads that you cannot see but is visible on DD´s. Dare Devil, Batman, Yellow Jacket and Ant-Man right after beeing printed by bricks @ raminator, on Flickr Comments and Ideas how to make them look better are very welcome. Rinzler Posted September 4, 2014 Posted September 4, 2014 I'd stick some red hands on DD and some black ones on Yellowjacket Quote
raminator Posted September 5, 2014 Author Posted September 5, 2014 Sure. The picture shows the figures how they arrived from the printer. Hands have already been replaced. ;) Quote
Eric The Hand Posted September 8, 2014 Posted September 8, 2014 Awesome custom minifigs. Plan to make custom avengers minifigs of my own too, in the near future. Keep it coming!:-) Quote
raminator Posted September 8, 2014 Author Posted September 8, 2014 Thank you and good luck with your project. Quote
raminator Posted December 3, 2014 Author Posted December 3, 2014 (edited) After some while again some updated prints. Let´s start with my new Ant-Man head. left V2, middle v1, right V3 (new version) The torsos and legs are the evolutionary steps from the left (oldest) to the right (newest). Evolution of Ant-Men by bricks @ raminator, on Flickr Next is basicly the same evolutionary steps from left to the right for my Yellow Jacket. The legs need some more work... Yellow Jacket V1 & V2 by bricks @ raminator, on Flickr Now just new heads for Batman and Dare Devil. Batman and Dare Devil with new heads by bricks @ raminator, on Flickr Last but not least two new figures. Ok it´s basicly one in two different colors :P All hail Deadpool Deadpools by bricks @ raminator, on Flickr Like always: comments and tips to make these designs better are more than welcome. Borador Posted December 3, 2014 Posted December 3, 2014 (edited) I have to say, the newest ones look really great! Very nice design work. I especially love Batman's eyes. How are the printed legs? They don't rub off when the legs move, do they? Edited December 3, 2014 by Borador Quote
Colossus Posted December 4, 2014 Posted December 4, 2014 Nice work! I'm very partial to Yellowjacket. Quote
CrazyDalton777 Posted December 7, 2014 Posted December 7, 2014 Here is another Deadpool variant for you to make. Who is your printer, been looking for one in ages. Quote
raminator Posted December 7, 2014 Author Posted December 7, 2014 http://www.steindrucker.com This Deadpool variant looks funky. Though to be honest if i´d make that, it would basicly be an recolor of the other two. Lazy me :P Nice work! I'm very partial to Yellowjacket. Also...was does "partial" mean in this context? Quote
Colossus Posted December 8, 2014 Posted December 8, 2014 (edited) Hi! I meant I favor the Yellowjacket minifigure. It's a smart design. Edited December 8, 2014 by Colossus Quote
CrazyDalton777 Posted December 8, 2014 Posted December 8, 2014 Sorry if it seems like I am hijacking your thread here but I made a concept design of The Punisher. Before I transfer it to the template for the printing company, do you have anything I should add? Minifigure Concept: The Punisher by DaltonWilliams123, on Flickr Quote
raminator Posted December 8, 2014 Author Posted December 8, 2014 (edited) Is this simply a jpg/png or a vector grafic? You could add some Detail to the belt and maybe add muscles. If you are sending this to Steindrucker you can download a minifig template for vector gfx on his site. I recommend to use it. The torso color in your grafic should be transparent. Else he would print black on a black torso. Also, you should simply contact the printer and ask for specific design guidelines. If you need any help, feel free to pm me. LuxorV Posted December 31, 2014 Posted December 31, 2014 There would seem to be a problem of sorts with raminator's account on his image hosting site. Maybe he'll be able to fix the images once he notices this. Quote

Krikkit Posted February 18, 2015 Posted February 18, 2015 (edited) I must admit that those boobies are to big... Currently i´m recreating them with less "weight" :P thanks for your comments. This statement is bogus. Update: Just got yesterday a new bunch of Figs for my collection. My new custom printed (digital UV) Minifigs by bricks @ raminator, on Flickr I need silk, jean and the ff design, did you send the designs in for printing? Edited February 19, 2015 by LuxorV Please do not quote images from the same page. Thank you. Quote
raminator Posted February 19, 2015 Author Posted February 19, 2015 (edited) Yes I did. Feel free to PM me. I´m really glad how Silk turned out. Edited February 19, 2015 by raminator Quote
raminator Posted March 27, 2015 Author Posted March 27, 2015 Both Figures are custom printed (digital UV) after my designs. Black Widow started as a copy of TLGs original AoU design, but decided to change some details on her suit and Lady-Parts. Torso is printed on the front an back. Legs only on the front. Yellow Jacket is actually a evolved Devolution or a devolved Evolution of my last design (I hope he likes Singapour). The initial design was made by me more than 2 years ago but updated with some details from the last vetsion of him you can see in my stream. Inspiration came from 'Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes' cartoon that Imho was the best SH-Cartoon ever (shortly followed by WatXM). AoU inspired Black Widow and A:EMH inspired Yellow Jacket by bricks @ raminator, on Flickr Quote
raminator Posted May 29, 2015 Author Posted May 29, 2015 Some more Figs... Let´s start with Nick Fury. Design is obviously "inspired" by Lego´s, but I added some features to his face, changed the colors of the Legs and added a Belt. Nick Fury by bricks @ raminator, on Flickr Rogue´s design is nothing comic based I believe... Added the short sleeve arms to get the impression of her using yellow gloves and wearing a short sleeve leather jacket. Gave her the Cowgirl legs since I thoughed it would look nice, what it does. Rogue by bricks @ raminator, on Flickr Mockingbird´s design is based on this. Maybe needs better hair...any suggestions? Mockingbird by bricks @ raminator, on Flickr Ant-Man´s (Scott Lang) design is based on this. The Head is from brickset.com/minifigs/name-Cumberlayne-Aresko]Cumberlayne Aresko with erased eyes and brows. I will paint the visible eye area red. The helmet is from a Bootleg.[/color] Ant-Man (Scott Lang) by bricks @ raminator, on Flickr Thanks for watching :P Quote
Colossus Posted May 29, 2015 Posted May 29, 2015 Of all the female characters that use that blonde hairstyle, I think it looks most appropriate on Mockingbird. Great customs, btw! Quote
