Posted March 16, 201212 yr Hi everyone, It's an idea spinning in my head for a while looking at my 5 legionaries, so here it is: September 9 AD, legionaries escaping from the slaughter ongoing in the Teutoburg forest: Unfortunately they will not do a long way... Hope you like this little scene! Bye Cunctator
March 16, 201212 yr Hope you like this little scene! Bye Cunctator I like it a lot! Great idea to build this scene.I love the way you positioned the Roman soldiers and their body language. Excellent job on that! Maybe the forest could have been a little more dense.

March 22, 201212 yr looks very much like a scene from Asterix. now you need to MOC Asterix and Obelix to complete your MOC.
March 23, 201212 yr Very nice! That first picture is fantastic - nice shadowing. But why are some of them scared, if the Celtic warrior hasn't come out yet?
March 24, 201212 yr Very nice, a always like mocs with minifig action! Well chosen facial expressions! (To bad is the dust, it goes away easily with apaintbrush :wink)
March 24, 201212 yr Author Thanks to all for the nice comments! Very nice! That first picture is fantastic - nice shadowing. But why are some of them scared, if the Celtic warrior hasn't come out yet? They are trying to run away after seeing the massacre of their fellows, so someone is scared, someone has the only will to return home, someone is very tired... well at least this was my intention Very nice, a always like mocs with minifig action! Well chosen facial expressions! (To bad is the dust, it goes away easily with apaintbrush :wink) You are right, consider it a touch of realism I’d love to see more roman-themed mocs, hope to have time and bricks to contribute in some way…
March 26, 201212 yr I love how you've created atmosphere in this scene-can't quite put my finger on where you've gone right but it feels like it's a dark and creepy forest! Love the Roman expressions too, great job
