Hinckley Posted March 21, 2012 Posted March 21, 2012 The white light fades and the monk has once again disappeared. Sylvia is climbing out of the pool. "How'd you get in the water?" Somebody asks. "Not sure," she says, "This place is getting weirder by the ... chapter, I guess. " William continues to find the frog more interesting than his wife. Chris looks for more blood to sniff. Penny inspects the new creation carefully. "What the hell are we supposed to do with a little spaceship?" She wonders out loud... Nobody answers. Cast of characters: Sylvia Berent played by Zepher Chris Owen played by Tamamono Siegourney Harcourt played by Siegfried Richard Sexton played by Mrlegoninja Donna Falcon played by Dannylonglegs William Falcon played by WhiteFang Diesel Nolan played by Dragonator Penny Maltese played by Peppermint_M Sheldon Wills played by Shadows Samantha Cole played by Rufus Tony Peck played by Bob_ Ingrid Peck played by iamded Fred Thomas played by CorneliusMurdock Diana Mantino played by Fugazi Reserves MaskedBuilder KielDaMan Scouty The Legonater *Thanks so much to VolcanicPanik, CallMePieOrDie, Swils, JediAnakin, Scorpiox, K-Nut, Darth Nihilius, The Legonater and Flipz for showing interest in the game. I wish there was more room. Please sign up again for future games! * Rules for Game play No anagrams. Each chapter you will be faced with a LEGO building challenge. The first part will be a group effort to find a certain amount of LEGO pieces. The second part will be an individual effort to figure out what model the pieces create. The winner of the individual effort will be judged by how much time is taken to solve the puzzle. When you begin to solve the puzzle post "Puzzle start" in the thread. When you solve it, post "puzzle solved" and PM me a picture of the finished product. The winner of the challenge will select three people. The three people selected will nominate two people to receive clues about the identity of who killed the other members of the tour group (the deaths from Red Moon 1). You must search for clues. This means that an action must be specified. For example, you wish to search a room for hidden objects. The following is an example of how not to go about this:"I wish to look for suspicious or hidden objects in this room".Instead, you must be able to specify what you want to do. For example:"I would like to open the drawers of the cabinet."It is not required for you to specify exactly what you are doing and what you are looking for, but a generalised statement will not find you anything. Act like a detective and you will be fine. Dynamic Actions: Actions you wish to carry out without all of the other players' knowledge can be PMed to the game host, Hinckley. You may or may not be allowed to do what you request. Host response time: Please be patient. You may bring the story to a point where you need the host to further game play. I will be on top of this game as much as possible. Please be patient with me between chapters as well. Stagnant game: If you find yourself stuck in the group challenge portion, it is because you need to find a clue or you've missed something. Don’t argue with the game host. You’ll be there until everything that needs to be discovered has been discovered. Each game day will last 72 hours with three portions, each lasting 24 hours. The team challenge will last 24 hours. The individual portion will last 24 hours. And the nomination process will last 24 hours. If the group fails to find all of the pieces in the first 24 hours, then the chapter will end with no further clues given. You cannot edit your posts. Failure to follow these rules will result in a warning. A second failure will result in the humorous death of your character.
Rufus Posted March 21, 2012 Posted March 21, 2012 Does the spaceship actually work? *Samantha carefully fiddles with the controls to see if the little spaceship has any power. She is careful not to fire any of those missile things, if that's what they are*
WhiteFang Posted March 21, 2012 Posted March 21, 2012 Let me try and sit on that spaceship. I am sure it can fit me in nicely. I wonder if you guys still remember the earlier hint given by the mysterious old monk.
Hinckley Posted March 21, 2012 Author Posted March 21, 2012 *Samantha and William work together to see if the spaceship really works. William sits in the pilot's seat and Samantha fiddles with his control stick. William and his frog rise up in the air!* "Yippee!"
Rufus Posted March 21, 2012 Posted March 21, 2012 Yay! Can you fly it, William? Maybe it could go up onto the balcony what we couldn't get to before?
WhiteFang Posted March 21, 2012 Posted March 21, 2012 Yay! Can you fly it, William? Maybe it could go up onto the balcony what we couldn't get to before? Yea, I can fly it! No problem, the frog and I shall go up to the balcony on the second floor to hove around the upper surroundings to see if there is anything usual.
Shadows Posted March 21, 2012 Posted March 21, 2012 Perhaps before we play spaceman, we could take a moment to review a minor little detail from the last chapter earlier... "Today I presented you with the challenge of nominating three people you trusted to receive a clue as a group. After tallying the votes, you have nominated Diana Mantino (Fugazi), Fred Thomas (CorneliusMurdock) and Chris Owen (Tamamono). I'm sorry, but no one will be receiving a clue as you have not presented a group that can be trusted. At least one person nominated should not be trusted." To me, that seems slightly more important. What do you three have to say about this?
WhiteFang Posted March 21, 2012 Posted March 21, 2012 What do you three have to say about this? *shouting from above* I agreed. Some explanations will help..
Siegfried Posted March 21, 2012 Posted March 21, 2012 What do you three have to say about this? "At least one" That's really annoying. If we kill them all we could be 66.6% more evil than necessary. On the other hand we'll be at least 33.3% right! But seriously, what does that even mean? Are they politicians or something?
WhiteFang Posted March 21, 2012 Posted March 21, 2012 I am away from my notes but I will like to make a bold assumption. I wonder if there is any co-relation for the past clue receivers and the current clue receivers. Maybe we can flagged the suspicions one easily.
CorneliusMurdock Posted March 21, 2012 Posted March 21, 2012 I'm as surprised as all of you. I know I'm trustworthy. I've been 100% honest and hard working throughout this ordeal. Maybe Diana or Chris lied about the clues they revealed?
Siegfried Posted March 21, 2012 Posted March 21, 2012 I'm as surprised as all of you. I know I'm trustworthy. I've been 100% honest and hard working throughout this ordeal. You're avoiding the question; are you a politician?
Fugazi Posted March 21, 2012 Posted March 21, 2012 Well I'm baffled by the accusation of untrustworthiness, but if it has anything to do with the demon it would make things easy for us. We just disregard clues shared by the three people involved, and kindly ask them to abstain from further challenges. I'm sure the rest of you can figure out who is the demon among the three. On the other hand it makes things a bit too easy -- since I know I'm not the demon perhaps it's just a red herring, something irrelevant to our search?
CorneliusMurdock Posted March 21, 2012 Posted March 21, 2012 You're avoiding the question; are you a politician? How was that avoiding the question? I said I didn't know how we as a group had someone untrustworthy but that I knew that I was trustworthy. The problem with Diana's plan of the three of us not participating any more is that there already aren't enough people participating. I'm not sure how comfortable I'd be sitting back and doing nothing. Lives are at stake.
Siegfried Posted March 21, 2012 Posted March 21, 2012 How was that avoiding the question? I said I didn't know how we as a group had someone untrustworthy but that I knew that I was trustworthy. You are a politician. You're dead to me.
Hinckley Posted March 21, 2012 Author Posted March 21, 2012 Yea, I can fly it! No problem, the frog and I shall go up to the balcony on the second floor to hove around the upper surroundings to see if there is anything usual. *William cruises around the balcony. He can see LEGO parts in the urns on the balcony, but there's nowhere to land up there.*
Fugazi Posted March 21, 2012 Posted March 21, 2012 Do we still have that fishing rod? Perhaps it could be used to fish the parts.
Siegfried Posted March 21, 2012 Posted March 21, 2012 *William cruises around the balcony. He can see LEGO parts in the urns on the balcony, but there's nowhere to land up there.* Fire the rockets!
CorneliusMurdock Posted March 21, 2012 Posted March 21, 2012 Maybe if someone hangs on to the bottom of the ship and drops to the urns or William jumps for it himself... We can always rebuild the ship.
Hinckley Posted March 21, 2012 Author Posted March 21, 2012 *William fires the rockets at the debris blocking the staircase. Siegourney runs up and grabs the bricks out of the urns* Chapter 6 Challenge x2 x4 You have 24 hours to complete this challenge. To participate you must post "Challenge: begin" in this thread when you start trying to build (or figure out) the creation. Do not post "Challenge: complete" when you are finished. Do not post in this thread for 15 minutes following your "Challenge: begin" post. If you do, your entry will be disqualified. PM the picture to me, do not post it in this thread. If it is incorrect, you won't know until I can respond, so make sure you get your complete time recorded by PM. Whoever has the fastest time will be declared the winner. You are on the honor code. This method is to be fair to all time zones so do not cheat!
Siegfried Posted March 21, 2012 Posted March 21, 2012 *William fires the rockets at the debris blocking the staircase. Siegourney runs up and grabs the bricks out of the urns* Now we're talking! Explosives is one of those things that I do trust! Challenge Begin
