Rufus Posted March 23, 2012 Posted March 23, 2012 So.... whom should we give clues away to today? If this conversion theory is true, we should try to avoid anyone implicated by the blood-puddle clues. That means no-one with tan, brown, light blue, or dark tan fabric, or reddish brown hair if Diana's clue is to be believed. This basically leaves Sheldon, Siegourney, Donna, and William. I'd be willing to let these have a clue.
Zepher Posted March 23, 2012 Posted March 23, 2012 Personally, I think that being identified with a puddle is about the best alibi one could have (barring your conversion theory). I really don't see how being an intended target could make one bad. The conversion theory was not mine. The intended victim theory was mine. This basically leaves Sheldon, Siegourney, Donna, and William. I'd be willing to let these have a clue. Really? It leaves Sheldon? In what way does it leave Sheldon. We have confirmed that puddle three can ONLY point to Sheldon...
Fugazi Posted March 23, 2012 Posted March 23, 2012 Thank you for being so cooperative, Fred! That clue from the last puddle coupled with my clue points to Diana. It could have pointed to me, but Diana decided to make her fake clue reddish brown hair or something like that. This pretty much confirms that Diana is a liar (and probably a demon), unless of course you and I are working together. I wouldn't put it past the both of you, it's too easy. If there are indeed conversions, any evidence produced by all three of us is inconclusive. Two clues pointing in the same direction could simply mean that you're collaborating to frame me. This only reinforces my belief that you shouldn't be trusted with more clues, and that my votes will go towards people who aren't currently being considered untrustworthy. Vote: William Falcon (Whitefang) Vote: Donna Falcon (Dannylonglegs) Vote: Sheldon Wills (Shadows) Really? It leaves Sheldon? In what way does it leave Sheldon. We have confirmed that puddle three can ONLY point to Sheldon... Right. Unvote: Sheldon Wills (Shadows) Vote: Siegourney Harcourt (Siegfried)
Shadows Posted March 24, 2012 Posted March 24, 2012 It makes sense that you would say that, considering that everything in puddle 3 points to you. Honestly though, what do you think the puddles mean if they don't mean conversion? That clue the Monk shared with us pretty much confirms it, too. Exactly, and I know I'm innocent, so by extension, I have to believe that everyone else pointed to is innocent, which takes us back to the puddles indicating future victims. Victims are not conversions, victims are more innocents dying. How did that get twisted around into suspicion when we were very clearly told that there was one baddie and there are four puddles? After careful consideration ... Vote: Siegourney Harcourt (Siegfried)

After careful consideration ... Vote: Siegourney Harcourt (Siegfried) Yes, Sheldon, but that's all from your point of view. We have no reason to believe your "I'm innocent" that is backed up by zero logic over my theory, which is backed up by quite a bit of logic. Plus, I find it interesting how you said that the people who the blood puddles represent are the most clear and then you went on to vote for someone who isn't incriminated by the blood puddles at all, if the clues in puddle #3 are to be trusted (which I have reason to believe they can be). Surely, with your theory, shouldn't you be voting for someone who is represented by a puddle of blood?
Shadows Posted March 24, 2012 Posted March 24, 2012 Surely, with your theory, shouldn't you be voting for someone who is represented by a puddle of blood? That wouldn't test my theory. If we choose 3 people who aren't possibly represented by any of the puddles and get the "you chose poorly" message again, it would make a much clearer test than choosing a combination and getting the message, which someone would try to use to justify their prejudice against those of us who are marked by the puddles. Tell me, were any of the three in the earlier failure part of the puddle group?
CorneliusMurdock Posted March 24, 2012 Posted March 24, 2012 I'm going to go ahead and Vote: Donna Falcon (Dannylonglegs) for the non-challenge clue.
Hinckley Posted March 24, 2012 Author Posted March 24, 2012 *This chapter will close in approximately 24 hours, depending on how much fun the smartass voice has on Saturday night.*
Rufus Posted March 24, 2012 Posted March 24, 2012 Really? It leaves Sheldon? In what way does it leave Sheldon. We have confirmed that puddle three can ONLY point to Sheldon... Apologies, I had forgotten about that. I was just using the information presented today. Vote: William Falcon (Whitefang) Vote: Donna Falcon (Dannylonglegs) Vote: Sheldon Wills (Shadows) Right. Unvote: Sheldon Wills (Shadows) Vote: Siegourney Harcourt (Siegfried) I think we have to vote for four people today, Diana. Vote: William Falcon (Whitefang) Vote: Donna Falcon (Dannylonglegs) Vote: Siegourney Harcourt (Siegfried) I'm really not sure who the fourth person should be, as Sheldon was implicated by puddle 3. The only person I know I can trust is... me. Can I vote for myself?
iamded Posted March 24, 2012 Posted March 24, 2012 I'd like to give Sheldon a hug and tell him everything is going to be alright. Tony, you're making me jealous... Let's us non-challenge-winners vote for people that the challenge winners do not vote for. If the challenge winners vote for the same people as the rest of us, then there's less people getting clues, therefore there's less clues. Yesterday the challenge winners voted for Diana, Fred and Chris to recieve clues, and then - after tallying the votes - we all voted for those same people to receive clues. I'm not sure if they would have received two clues each, and if they wouldn't have then that would be three potential clues gone. Perhaps I can clarify that with the smart-megablocks and charming voice,? If someone is voted for by both the challenge winners and the rest of the crowd, would they receive two clues? Oh, my poor Zachy, please stop talking about these things! I was engaged and then he died Nice to see your here, Penny. Er, I don't suppose you could share with us your clue you received in Chapter 4? I think I'll vote for my husband Tony (Bob_) to receive a clue. He's not incriminated by any blood puddles, and it will be good to bring a new person in to the clue circle.
Siegfried Posted March 24, 2012 Posted March 24, 2012 Note to self: Break up first next time. If there is a next time. Oh god, I'm scared, hold me! I could hold you if you like. I've got 5 minutes free. After much consideration.... I'm not sure who to trust. But I think... Vote: Chris Owen (Tamamono) ...gets my vote for his interesting interpretation of that vision. I'm especially impressed by his ability to put together powerpoint presentations in this kind of situation.
Fugazi Posted March 24, 2012 Posted March 24, 2012 I think we have to vote for four people today, Diana. Indeed. Vote Sylvia Berent (Zepher) Let's us non-challenge-winners vote for people that the challenge winners do not vote for. If the challenge winners vote for the same people as the rest of us, then there's less people getting clues, therefore there's less clues. Yesterday the challenge winners voted for Diana, Fred and Chris to recieve clues, and then - after tallying the votes - we all voted for those same people to receive clues. Perhaps I can clarify that with the smart-megablocks and charming voice,? If someone is voted for by both the challenge winners and the rest of the crowd, would they receive two clues? Well I certainly didn't get two clues yesterday. So voting for the same people twice serves no purpose.
Bob Posted March 24, 2012 Posted March 24, 2012 Vote: William Falcon (Whitefang) Vote: Donna Falcon (Dannylonglegs) Vote: Siegourney Harcourt (Siegfried) Vote Sylvia Berent (Zepher) These people seem trustworthy, in my opinion. I suppose we'll find out.
iamded Posted March 24, 2012 Posted March 24, 2012 Indeed. Vote Sylvia Berent (Zepher) Well I certainly didn't get two clues yesterday. So voting for the same people twice serves no purpose. Yesterday you wouldn't have received a second clue even if you were supposed to, because the people's choice votes were cancelled out because 'someone couldn't be trusted', right? So the challenge winners votes were counted, but the other tallied votes were dismissed because of the trust issues. At least, that's what I gathered from it. Still have no idea what would have happened if the votes went through. It would be nice to know if they'd stack or not, but I suppose the only way to know is to try it, and I'd rather not risk losing a clue by having a double-winner in the vote tally.
Zepher Posted March 24, 2012 Posted March 24, 2012 Vote: William Falcon (Whitefang) Vote: Donna Falcon (Dannylonglegs) Vote: Siegourney Harcourt (Siegfried) Vote: Sheldon Wills (Shadows) I'm nominating Sheldon with three relatively trusted people. If we get back a "should not be trusted" result, we'll have learned that a) the demons CAN grow in numbers, and b) Sheldon is more likely to be one, though the proof will still be very flimsy.
CorneliusMurdock Posted March 24, 2012 Posted March 24, 2012 I think you're confused, Sylvia. The challenge winners choose four people, and everyone can vote for one person to get the Trust-dependant clue. The challenge clue must not be trust related since Chris, Diana, and I all received one and we're the same group denied the other clue.

Bob Posted March 24, 2012 Posted March 24, 2012 Oops, I'm dumb. I'm new at these "mystery games". Vote: Siegourney Harcourt (Siegfried)
Dannylonglegs Posted March 25, 2012 Posted March 25, 2012 I agree with this notion of "conversion", and I'm glad that my loving husband has not been implicated by any of these clues. Therefore, my trust vote goes to him. Vote: William Falcon (Whitefang)
Hinckley Posted March 25, 2012 Author Posted March 25, 2012 The only person I know I can trust is... me. Can I vote for myself? No, but you can receive a clue if the other two vote for you. I'll allow some more time in the day to allow you your fourth vote. Currently, there is a tie for the third place in the group clue category. William: 3 Siegourney: 2 Donna: 1 Chris: 1 Someone who hasn't cast a vote yet should do their best to break the tie between Donna and Chris. The chapter is staying open for a while for several reasons.
Mrlegoninja Posted March 26, 2012 Posted March 26, 2012 Well in between Donna and Chris, its tough. But I believe, after weighing and conisdering, that Vote: Donna Falcon (Daddylonglegs) is my vote.
Hinckley Posted March 26, 2012 Author Posted March 26, 2012 Well, at least one issue has been cleared up. I guess I've extended it 24 hours, that should've been enough to get a fourth vote out of Samantha... Oh well. This chapter is over, but it's time for bed. I'll have a conclusion up in 24 hours.
