Posted March 26, 201212 yr A return home from some far off distant napoleon era war. Wanted to build something about coming home when I did this moc in January (after coming home), haven't posted it until now Edited March 28, 201212 yr by BrickBucket
March 26, 201212 yr Simple but very elegant MOC. I like it a lot! Funny that the woman seems unhappy about his return.
March 26, 201212 yr Author Simple but very elegant MOC. I like it a lot! Funny that the woman seems unhappy about his return. I was trying to have her express that sudden shock of seeing someone you haven't seen in a long time. But yah it can definitely be interpreted as fear or unhappiness. Wish Lego would produce more facial expressions!
March 26, 201212 yr Haha! From what I read that dude has a horny face and the woman thinks "now I have do that to him again, arrgh". But now that you say it, yeah it can also be a shock face.

March 27, 201212 yr I think she just doesn't recognizes him yet! Nice moc, I like the details like the glass window in the door! Edited March 27, 201212 yr by Ecclesiastes
March 28, 201212 yr Excellent MOC, great detail on such a small building. Wife: "Oh no! He's back, the house is a mess!" But, I don't know if I'm correct or not, but shouldn't this be in the pirates forum? Well he is a colonial soldier.

But, I don't know if I'm correct or not, but shouldn't this be in the pirates forum? Well he is a colonial soldier. I should rephrase that, the soldier is kinda ambiguous, returning home from some napoleanic era war. I don't really have a back story, you can interpret it however you like.
April 3, 201212 yr I like this a lot. The colors look great together and the concept is heart-warming.
April 4, 201212 yr When I saw the woman's shocked face, I was hoping to see a different man inside the house. But this does have a very nice homey sort of feel to it.
