Posted March 27, 201212 yr Hello E-Harmo- err Eurobricks! I was wondering if anyone knows if these two pieces go well together: The first is the scabbard part from the Pirates line. This piece: http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItemPic.asp?P=95348 And the second if this claymore from the Collectible Minifigure line. This piece: http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItemPic.asp?P=98370 Does that sword fit the scabbard? I only have the sword piece. I notice that scabbard is angled downward, and the sword is pretty long, does this cause any problems? I didn't know if I should post this topic here or in the Medieval forums.

March 27, 201212 yr Author Ah, good to know. Thank you MikeyB! I'll be using this combination a lot. While I am on this topic, I was also wondering if this piece http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=98132 could hold the classic short sword. It looks like it has the same size slot as the Prince of Persia scabbard. (Which can't hold said sword) But I can't be 100% sure just by looking at it.

I haven't tried personally, but seeing as both parts are fitted to the thinner katana piece I doubt the classic short sword would fit. Somewhat off topic: early reports of that Ninjago shoulder armor piece suggested that a technic pin could fit in the "hole" in the back. This is not actually the case, but I can confirm that the underside of parts like 1x1 round plates DO fit, even if it may slightly stress the piece. The "ridge" on the bottom fits into the shoulder armor almost like it does in the classic minifig goblet piece.
