Will the pegs on the back fit anywhere or is this an entirely separate connection system? Quote
jipengluo Posted June 16, 2015 Posted June 16, 2015 Oh, that makes sense. I was actually looking at the Bionicle sets as they were very similar but they didn't look quite the same. I'll look into those as well. Thanks. Quote

Will the pegs on the back fit anywhere or is this an entirely separate connection system? The pegs on the Hero Core (and on some of the larger armor pieces) are the same 3.2mm width as the handles of minifigure accessories like swords, megaphones, and lightsaber blades, meaning they can fit perfectly into clips or hollow studs. There are even some sets that use this, like 76026, which uses a Hero Factory/CCBS chest plate for the front panel of the Bat-Mech. Quote
GallardoLU Posted June 18, 2015 Posted June 18, 2015 ok, I'm normally very good at distinguishing pieces from other brands and Lego parts BUT i just cant tell on this one. I've had them for a very long time (early 90s late 80s i believe) no numbers, no logo, thickness is 1.5 plates tall enough for studs in both sides without touching. feels like Lego plastic, and has comparable clutching strength. if you know anything about these ones I'm very interested to know where they came from. BirdOPrey5 Posted June 19, 2015 Posted June 19, 2015 I have pieces from Tyco that look just like that in purple so I would guess Tyco. In fact check this post: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=22649 Quote
GallardoLU Posted June 19, 2015 Posted June 19, 2015 thanks for the thread, that lines up with what I have here really well. I've a few old Tyco parts (no complete models) so it must have came from those. now the question is to use or not to use Quote

Lego_Hero Posted June 22, 2015 Posted June 22, 2015 Hey GallardoLU, pretty sure those are Tyco per BirdOPrey5. I've seen them before and have been tempted to use them as well. I try to be a purist when making MOCs to post here, but sometimes, especially when working with minifigs, I stray just a little. I think they are for changing stud direction, for example, in an instance when you need studs to face each other. And RogerSmtih, those badges make pretty cool decor. If they were a smidge smaller, I'd cut the pegs and glue one to a torso for a cool super hero design (I know, blasphemy)! Quote
the_nameless_one Posted June 22, 2015 Posted June 22, 2015 Hello everyone, I am new to EuroBricks and this might not be the correct form, but I am trying to identifying some parts. I would like to reproduce this chair in the img I have posted, but I have no idea how he is getting that angle on the back rest. Can anyone help me out by letting me know the parts that are involved? thank you for your help Quote

the_nameless_one Posted June 22, 2015 Posted June 22, 2015 Thanks CopMike, It is a wedge plate, but I am more confused by the slight angle of them both in relation to the backing. The wedge plates are not sitting flush. Maybe this is more a question of building technique. Anyone have ideas how this is pulled off and what parts would be involved? Quote

The wedge plates are not sitting flush. Maybe this is more a question of building technique. Anyone have ideas how this is pulled off and what parts would be involved? My guess is that there are two different modified plates with clip (one of these and one of these) attached to the lower part of those wedge plates and then to a short bar, possibly a 3- or 4L, which is then inserted into a jumper plate (or another clip) behind the chair assembly. I'm not at home so I can't check with my bricks, but it seems like it would make that angle nicely. Quote
Taluva Posted June 27, 2015 Posted June 27, 2015 Hey I have been looking through the forum where I could post this and I didn't find it, so I post it here... Is there some forum where I should post to be able to find where a piece comes from? So my Question: I have a White 1x2 tile with the (black) inscription PA7 70 on it. I looked it up on Peeron, but I didn't find it there. I looked at Brickset and there I found it, but it said it was in 0 sets. So where does this come from... It could be that I have it from a PAB-wall, but I seriously don't know. If anybody can help me, that would be great. Oh and if this post belongs somewhere else, it would be nice to know where... ijlind Posted June 27, 2015 Posted June 27, 2015 (edited) Anyone have any ideas what/where this wooden box is from? I'm not sure whether or not it's supposed to contain bricks or not but I am pretty sure it's missing a couple of space dividers from the removable top "container" as it does have those grooves on the edges. We found this while getting rid of some old stuff someone had left behind to a vacated appartment. We've got no use for this box, so I'm basically trying to find out what it is so that I can find out if anyone could have any interest in it. Edited June 27, 2015 by ijlind Quote
