emilstorm Posted April 25, 2014 Posted April 25, 2014 It's hard to tell from the photo, but Lego has made both types Quote

Faefrost Posted April 25, 2014 Posted April 25, 2014 The brick with the face is 4744px14. You can find it in these 10 sets. The little axle thing is this part. There is also an alternative version. I can't say anything about the last part though. It seems familiar but I can't find it on Bricklink.. I think the bottom one might be megabloks. Like you say it looks familiar. Yay! Now I don't know if this is lego or not. There is the one with the pin at the bottom and the one without one. Is the one without one Lego or not? Thanks. The one without the pin is an old style bulb cover for lighting effects. It is Lego just older. Quote
TheLazyChicken Posted April 25, 2014 Posted April 25, 2014 Thanks! It feels good to have some nice parts! Quote
Descoladore Posted April 26, 2014 Posted April 26, 2014 (edited) I found this bionicle piece in a box in my attic the other day: Does anyone know where it might have come from? Edited April 26, 2014 by Descoladore Quote
Lyichir Posted April 26, 2014 Posted April 26, 2014 (edited) I found this bionicle piece in a box in my attic the other day: Does anyone know where it might have come from? That's a throwing arm from the Throwbots (US)/Slizers (EU) theme, which predated Bionicle. This particular color comes in 8504 Jet (Judge Slizer in countries other than the U.S.). Here's the Bricklink page for that part. Edited April 26, 2014 by Lyichir Quote

I'd never heard of that theme before. I can't imagine where I would have gotten that piece though, as I definitely never owned that set... Edited April 26, 2014 by Descoladore Quote
Transparency for Effect Posted May 11, 2014 Posted May 11, 2014 Question: Was the wheel piece used on Bernie Von Beam's head even physical? Quote
AndyC Posted May 11, 2014 Posted May 11, 2014 Looks like a 24T Clutch Gear, http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItemPic.asp?P=60c01, albeit in an unusual colour. Quote

Here's a close approximation with the 16T clutch gear: Quote
Cara Posted June 8, 2014 Posted June 8, 2014 Its rare that I come across a piece and don't know what it is, but this one stumped me. I'm guessing its old and after that hmm, end of a train-like item? part of a packaging of something else? It has lego on the inside of it (the bottom is hollow) but no number, and it is 4 studs wide by 6 high. Thank you.... Quote
emilstorm Posted June 8, 2014 Posted June 8, 2014 It looks like a Fabuland window to me. Not sure though, it's been many years since I have ssen one last Quote
Yoshi648 Posted June 23, 2014 Posted June 23, 2014 Gah, this is confusing. I've been re-creating vehicles from the Wii U game LEGO City Undercover in LEGO Digital Designer so I could make some of them real. Of the few vehicles I have done so far they are all able to be built physically with actual LEGO (wacky colors aside). However I found something I don't know if it is possible: On this car, it has a pointed tip a plate in height between the hood and grill. The only thing I would guess is a pair of 3X2 wedge plates, but that would be 6-wide which isn't possible as the spot is only 4-wide. Are there any other parts that would make this shape possible? Quote
alois Posted June 23, 2014 Posted June 23, 2014 use this : The screenshot doesn't show the ugly holes for the studs that will appear if you use this part. Quote
L@go Posted June 23, 2014 Posted June 23, 2014 -snip- Are there any other parts that would make this shape possible? I think you're right, there isn't. At least I can't think of any way you could achieve that exact result with any piece I know of. I agree with Tribolego that you can use two of those wedge pieces to get the shape right, but not the exact result. Strange one, that. Quote

Yoshi648 Posted June 24, 2014 Posted June 24, 2014 use this : Yeah, had a feeling it was an obvious common part I forgot about. Looks like the designers probably just forgot to add the stud cutouts. Thanks! Quote
Runamuck Posted June 28, 2014 Posted June 28, 2014 My brother found a strange baseplate on a flea market the other day. I tried looking for it on peeron, but I didn’t get any results. I guess it’s from the 60’s or 70’s, and I was wondering if it was a part of something interesting. Quote

62Bricks Posted June 28, 2014 Posted June 28, 2014 In a group of old Mursten slotted bricks and early CA hollow bricks, I found this odd 1x2 (pictured at the bottom) It kind of looks like a PUWI brick, but the stud holes on those bricks appear to be more cleanly molded, where these look more like the indentations you sometimes see on the old hollow LEGO bricks before they started putting the logo on the studs. Still, there are no markings on the inside of the brick at all, and the underside of the top is solid - there are no recesses under the studs. The plastic appears to be CA and the color matches the CA LEGO brick in the picture very closely. The dimensions are exactly the same. Anyone ever see this variation of a known LEGO 1x2? Or is this more likely an early clone? Quote
