Marckeyh Posted January 26, 2011 Posted January 26, 2011 Dear all, I have a request for an unidentified lego part. I've searched on bricklink, but can't find it. I got it in a bulk load I bought of a boot sale last summer. It's quite a big bin, with minifig for scale reference : ) Anyone know the part number, or what set it has been used in? Thanks in advance -Marky Quote

nosbusch2005 Posted February 7, 2011 Posted February 7, 2011 I recently bought a group of troll minifigs off of Ebay and one of them had this sword and shield combo. The rest of them all had the normal style troll shields and swords or other assorted weapons but I was curious about this one. I have been unable to find out where it came from. Is it actually Lego or is it from some other kind of block? Sorry if this is the wrong place to post this and for the pic. My wife is the photographer of the family. Quote
Stiel Posted February 7, 2011 Posted February 7, 2011 (edited) They are from Brickforge. http://www.brickforge.com/store/home.php?cat=331 http://www.brickforge.com/store/home.php?cat=344 They produce custom minifig accessories (mostly weapons) for Lego. Technically, it's not Lego, but it's from the same material and good quality. Edited February 7, 2011 by Stiel Quote
Henchmen4Hire Posted February 7, 2011 Posted February 7, 2011 Probably a custom from Brickforge or something, spiffy Quote
CMP Posted February 7, 2011 Posted February 7, 2011 It's custom, but pretty much made for Lego. Indeed, it is from Brickforge. I'd use it, it'd look nice on a troll. Quote
nosbusch2005 Posted February 7, 2011 Posted February 7, 2011 Yeah, I really like it. It kind of reminds me of the Orc Swords and shields from the Lord of the Rings movies. I just might have to order some more and re-equip my troll army! Quote
