Lucky you :classic:

Both sets where US exclusives (which was a real shame as I would really have liked that as a kid, along with a string of other US-only releases (6391 is my favourtie))

Funny that they used in US-only set a part that was originally designed for EU-only trains :)

And indeed it is a shame that we didn't get these two sets here.

A US-only (or even more limited?) set that I would have liked is http://brickset.com/...-Rig-Truck-Stop

Though that I had a truck similar (but much smaller) to the red one of that set: http://brickset.com/...4-1/Crane-Truck

edit: and sorry for the off-topic :D

In this picture here, can someone tell me where I could find the arms on the minifig to the left with the flag? I haven't been able to find those arms anywhere and I'm not sure whether they are LEGO licensed or custom. Can anyone help me out?

Any idea what the parts are labelled ' R ' on this set of instructions?

They are micro motor mounting brackets... And you will not believe what they cost on Bricklink these days. I think I recently paid $20 for one to replace a broken part.

Those are some bodies custom work. But very nicely done.

I got this minifigure off ebay, where it was included with some Harry Potter minifigs. The picture there had the head turned around so only blank grey showed, and at first I thought it might be Binns from Harry Potter, but when I checked there has never been a Binns fig. Plus, when the minifig arrived it had the sort of robot face below.

So, does anyone recognize this fellow? Is he an official fig from anything?

They often make set before the release of the movie: scenes may have been cut from the movie after they designed the set.

Something similar occurred with one of the Gardians of the Galaxy sets, the structure in http://brickset.com/sets/76020-1 was not found in the movie anymore, if I remember well.

I need some help identifying some parts. I pulled a bunch of parts from LDD into my LDraw library. I came across these two hats, and I can't find them in Bricklink.

The parts have the descriptions 15603 Minifigure Helmet No 35 and 10056 HELMET NO 8. As they came from LDD, I have no doubt that they are official.

Thanks in advance.

I hop I can use this topic for my question, sorry if I'm wrong

Can someone told me the exact color of the blue plates who support the building on the "Lake town" sets? And can we find them alone (and bigger maybe)? Thank you
