1974 Posted January 13, 2015 Posted January 13, 2015 (edited) Yeah, we just talked about it in the train section http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=812 The set you're thinking of is this : http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?S=6383-1 Is this the part? Train, track plain rail straight This part is 1x14?, not 2x14, so it may not be the right piece Train (straight) tracks are allways 16L Edited January 13, 2015 by 1974 Quote
mpfirnhaber Posted January 13, 2015 Posted January 13, 2015 That's the one! But it was this set http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?S=6390-1 I still remember building it on Chrismas morning all those years ago :) Quote
1974 Posted January 13, 2015 Posted January 13, 2015 Lucky you Both sets where US exclusives (which was a real shame as I would really have liked that as a kid, along with a string of other US-only releases (6391 is my favourtie)) Quote
antp Posted January 14, 2015 Posted January 14, 2015 (edited) Funny that they used in US-only set a part that was originally designed for EU-only trains :) And indeed it is a shame that we didn't get these two sets here. A US-only (or even more limited?) set that I would have liked is http://brickset.com/...-Rig-Truck-Stop Though that I had a truck similar (but much smaller) to the red one of that set: http://brickset.com/...4-1/Crane-Truck edit: and sorry for the off-topic :D Edited January 14, 2015 by antp Quote
thefamilybrick Posted January 19, 2015 Posted January 19, 2015 Hi! Ran across this pipe organ in a set of loose bricks. Does anyone recognize it? From which set is it? Thanks! Quote
WarSquirrel Posted January 19, 2015 Posted January 19, 2015 It is from 9468- Vampyre Castle http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?S=9468-1 And welcome to eurobricks! Quote
Ayan Posted January 19, 2015 Posted January 19, 2015 (edited) On the other hand, there is similar idea on http://bricker./sets/10210/ Edited January 19, 2015 by Ayan Quote

Yzalirk Posted January 21, 2015 Posted January 21, 2015 In this picture here, can someone tell me where I could find the arms on the minifig to the left with the flag? I haven't been able to find those arms anywhere and I'm not sure whether they are LEGO licensed or custom. Can anyone help me out? Quote
Faefrost Posted January 21, 2015 Posted January 21, 2015 Any idea what the parts are labelled ' R ' on this set of instructions? They are micro motor mounting brackets... And you will not believe what they cost on Bricklink these days. I think I recently paid $20 for one to replace a broken part. In this picture here, can someone tell me where I could find the arms on the minifig to the left with the flag? I haven't been able to find those arms anywhere and I'm not sure whether they are LEGO licensed or custom. Can anyone help me out? Those are some bodies custom work. But very nicely done. Quote
Cloveapple Posted January 26, 2015 Posted January 26, 2015 I got this minifigure off ebay, where it was included with some Harry Potter minifigs. The picture there had the head turned around so only blank grey showed, and at first I thought it might be Binns from Harry Potter, but when I checked there has never been a Binns fig. Plus, when the minifig arrived it had the sort of robot face below. So, does anyone recognize this fellow? Is he an official fig from anything? Quote
tkatt Posted January 26, 2015 Posted January 26, 2015 The body is Peeves from Harry Potter. The head is from the Alpha Team Android. Quote
Cloveapple Posted January 26, 2015 Posted January 26, 2015 The body is Peeves from Harry Potter. The head is from the Alpha Team Android. Thanks so much for the identification. How odd to have a Peeves minifigure when he's not even IN the movies that are supposedly the basis for the Lego sets. Quote
antp Posted January 26, 2015 Posted January 26, 2015 They often make set before the release of the movie: scenes may have been cut from the movie after they designed the set. Something similar occurred with one of the Gardians of the Galaxy sets, the structure in http://brickset.com/sets/76020-1 was not found in the movie anymore, if I remember well. Quote
Walter Kovacs Posted January 30, 2015 Posted January 30, 2015 I need some help identifying some parts. I pulled a bunch of parts from LDD into my LDraw library. I came across these two hats, and I can't find them in Bricklink. The parts have the descriptions 15603 Minifigure Helmet No 35 and 10056 HELMET NO 8. As they came from LDD, I have no doubt that they are official. Thanks in advance. Quote
Runamuck Posted January 30, 2015 Posted January 30, 2015 Those two hats are from the Lord of the Rings or Hobbit sets. http://brickset.com/minifigs/lor013/Gimli http://brickset.com/minifigs/lor086/Lake-town-Guard I think it’s the mold that these two figures have, but in a different color. Quote

Lind Whisperer Posted February 1, 2015 Posted February 1, 2015 That's from the Insectoids line. It's missing the trans-yellow green covering. You'd press one of the buttons, and it would flash and make a buzzing noise. Quote
TheLastToaofLight Posted February 2, 2015 Posted February 2, 2015 http://vignette1.wik...=20150131154535 Can somebody tell me which Anakin Skywalker minifigure is a misprint? I think it is the one on the left. Anyone? Quote
Peppermint_M Posted February 2, 2015 Posted February 2, 2015 A good rule of thumb with misprints is line thickness. Newer figures have crisp details and anything less is probably misprinted. Quote
Lady_Scarlett Posted February 2, 2015 Posted February 2, 2015 I hop I can use this topic for my question, sorry if I'm wrong Can someone told me the exact color of the blue plates who support the building on the "Lake town" sets? And can we find them alone (and bigger maybe)? Thank you Quote
