moop Posted January 4, 2012 Posted January 4, 2012 You guys are top notch. Why is Galidor infamous? Quote
Brickdoctor Posted January 4, 2012 Posted January 4, 2012 You guys are top notch. Why is Galidor infamous? It failed miserably as a LEGO theme. (and, I believe, as a TV show, but I haven't done much research on it) Quote
Zeya Posted January 4, 2012 Posted January 4, 2012 It failed miserably as a LEGO theme. (and, I believe, as a TV show, but I haven't done much research on it) Oh my god there was a TV show. I had no idea. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DWxeNd1DlBI I'm going to stop looking into this now before insanity takes hold of my senses. Quote
Fallenangel Posted January 5, 2012 Posted January 5, 2012 I actually don't remember Galidor being too bad of a show. Some kids even bought a toy or two. Back on topic, I've always wanted to know what set or sets the torso of the minifigure in this picture comes from. A set from the '90s, perhaps... Quote

Fallenangel Posted January 5, 2012 Posted January 5, 2012 (edited) That's incredible! I can't remember ever having owned one of those, but a handful of the pieces are in my loose box, so I know I had it at some point. (That's my picture, by the way.) Of course, what this also means is that I lost a good number of useful parts. Let's try another one, then. I don't have a picture, but the minifigure in question had red hips and legs, white arms, and a white torso with a broad blue stripe down the middle and thinner red stripes on either side of the blue stripe. Ring any bells? The torso is really the only 'unique' part of the minifigure, so I'm interested in learning where that came from. Edited January 5, 2012 by fallenangel309 Quote

Now are we sure about stripes going downward....wasn't across the torso was it 'fallenangel309' ? Quote
Haltiamieli Posted January 5, 2012 Posted January 5, 2012 There's this torso, but according to Bricklink it was never paired with red hips? Quote
Fallenangel Posted January 5, 2012 Posted January 5, 2012 That's the torso! I do wish I still had the white legs the minifigure originally came with. Quote
lightningtiger Posted January 5, 2012 Posted January 5, 2012 And it's really old school classic town 1984...... Quote
Peppermint_M Posted January 5, 2012 Posted January 5, 2012 The red starred jumpsuit also came in a number of sets in the 90s. For the simple trade of my ceralbox prize (we used to take it in turns on who got the prize) I got the figure and the blue stars'n'stripes helmet from my little brother. Quote
JackJonespaw Posted January 10, 2012 Posted January 10, 2012 There is a piece that I need that I cannot find anywhere on Bricklink. It's a T shape, with a sphere in the center. Here's a picture of it: Quote

CMP Posted January 28, 2012 Posted January 28, 2012 It's from the successor to Life on Mars, Mars Mission. Probably one of the most disliked 'minifigures' of all time, but don't worry, it's still LEGO. Quote
