Brickbuilder0937 Posted August 22, 2021 Posted August 22, 2021 Now I've got one that I can't figure out and it's driving my crazy. I found it in a box of parts at a yard sale, and at first I didn't even think it was LEGO until I looked on the inside of the head and found "©LEGO" and "30311". I can't find anything on Brickset or Bricklink. Any Information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! Quote
Brickbuilder0937 Posted August 22, 2021 Posted August 22, 2021 Thanks! I tried looking for everything with "alien" in it's name, but I guess a droid wouldn't be in that category. :) Quote
paleshadow Posted August 25, 2021 Posted August 25, 2021 (edited) Hi all. I'm wondering about the origin of this sticker: My childhood space sets (such as 894, 6822, 6881, etc) appear to have release dates in the range 1979-1984. I've looked through sticker sheets and space set inventories from that date range plus a few years on either side but have come up empty. Hopefully someone will just recognize it? Edit: The answer (h/t 560Heliport at the Brickset forums) is that these stickers came with Idea Book #6000 from 1980. Edited August 25, 2021 by paleshadow Quote

Takanuinuva Posted August 26, 2021 Posted August 26, 2021 Anyone know what the blue cylinder pieces are? Quote
Holodoc Posted September 3, 2021 Posted September 3, 2021 Mmmh - I checked every single transparent blue LEGO piece at BL, but didn't find anything even close to that part. The photo is from NewE. Do you know when it was shown there? Quote

Holodoc Posted September 3, 2021 Posted September 3, 2021 Okay, checked the page - and they are curious about the part either! So if THEY don't know - who should? Quote
Takanuinuva Posted September 4, 2021 Posted September 4, 2021 It looks just like the tank piece that Meltdown from Hero Factory uses. But it seems to be lacking the bar sized holes in the bottom. (But that might be the angle) Perhaps It's a prototype piece? Quote
Johnny1360 Posted September 11, 2021 Posted September 11, 2021 Not LEGO, that much we know, straight from the creator. Quote

metalgeekzy Posted September 11, 2021 Posted September 11, 2021 I got this piece in a sort of grab bag at a garage sale. In the top down picture i THINK it says Lego in the hole. Its kinda hard to tell. The inside looks like it has some sort of clip, altho how you are supposed to clip anything inside the piece i cant figure out. Does anyone know what this is from and how to use it? Top Down PicInside piece pic Trying to show the clip inside Quote
Peppermint_M Posted September 11, 2021 Posted September 11, 2021 It is a missile brick. The clip inside lets you use a round tile as ammunition and propels it. Here's a link Quote

nerdsforprez Posted September 22, 2021 Posted September 22, 2021 I was not sure a better place to post this. I hope it fits here: But can anyone tell me if Lego part 46528c01 (large projectile launcher), https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=49743c01#T=C&C=85 on the side that you depress to make it shoot, does it depress flush with the side of the brick? Kinda hard to explain, I guess another way of stating my question would be if it is possible to place these bricks side by side, so that the 2L sides are against eachother, exposing the 6L length? Peppermint_M Posted September 23, 2021 Posted September 23, 2021 Wish I could help, but I don't have one of those in my collection... Quote
nerdsforprez Posted September 23, 2021 Posted September 23, 2021 Thxs for at least acknowledging Quote
Takanuinuva Posted September 24, 2021 Posted September 24, 2021 I have one of them sadly. Otherwise I would check Quote
Brickbuilder0937 Posted September 24, 2021 Posted September 24, 2021 No, the button does not push all the way in. It sticks out about 1/16th inch. Quote
