Darkdragon Posted February 8, 2012 Posted February 8, 2012 (edited) The second one is described as a T-bar? Calabar Posted February 8, 2012 Posted February 8, 2012 If the pieces you are asking for are "taken" from LDD, you can use LDD manager (or other little software that has recently appears in the LDD section) to convert LEGO id and Colours in Bricklink's ones. Quote
WhiteFang Posted February 8, 2012 Author Posted February 8, 2012 After searching through the catalog on Bricklink I am stumped - can anyone help me by identifying these 2 pieces (see attached photos) Merged your topic into this existing similar agenda. Quote
LEGOman273 Posted February 8, 2012 Posted February 8, 2012 Not sure could be http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=bb219 That is exactly what it is. Quote

Nebsirob Posted February 9, 2012 Posted February 9, 2012 (edited) @spzero The garage-door seems to be from 1966. The baseplate is indeed broken. The hole should be covered up by some sort of ramp: click me The shell-sign appeared in four different sets (three in 1966, and one in 1971): click again The other road-signs are from 1966 aswell: another click I haven't found the last piece from the garage-pic yet, but somehow, I won't be surprised if it is from 1966. Edit: The last part is a "Hinge Coupling" and was used in 20 sets between 1963 and 1969: last click Edited February 9, 2012 by Nebsirob Quote
spzero Posted February 9, 2012 Posted February 9, 2012 @ Nebsirob Thanks much appreciated. think I'll keep the signs even if there a lil too small, they can at least add depth to my (I mean the childrens) layout when I (we) start one Quote
dubweiser Posted February 13, 2012 Posted February 13, 2012 So I was trying to sort and organize my childhood lego collection and I found a bunch of these guys at the bottom of the bin. Are these actual lego pieces or are they leftovers from the molding process? Quote
cimddwc Posted February 13, 2012 Posted February 13, 2012 Are these actual lego pieces or are they leftovers from the molding process? These are indeed just the leftovers from those old days when the 1x1 round plates came in pairs on a sprue: Quote
dubweiser Posted February 13, 2012 Posted February 13, 2012 These are indeed just the leftovers from those old days when the 1x1 round plates came in pairs on a sprue: Great! Thanks for the quick response. I think i remember keeping them to use as dirt/rocks/stuff to scoop up with the backhoe and dump truck. Quote
MetroiD Posted February 13, 2012 Posted February 13, 2012 I think i remember keeping them to use as dirt/rocks/stuff to scoop up with the backhoe and dump truck. I've also found them to be quite useful as fillers to ensure that the chests in local castles are indeed rattling with treasures - safe in the knowledge that you still have those valuable coins at your disposal for display purposes Quote

Do coins still come in a sprue btw, or are they also seperated now? Edited February 13, 2012 by -zenn Quote
LEGOman273 Posted February 13, 2012 Posted February 13, 2012 (edited) Haha, I did the same! Do coins still come in a sprue btw, or are they also seperated now? They are seperated now. (See PotC sets) Flippers are stil on sprues, though. Edited February 13, 2012 by LEGOman273 Quote
Peppermint_M Posted February 14, 2012 Posted February 14, 2012 I find flipper sprues to be very useful in pots and pans and other cooking items, it makes a decent looking food item when many are in one bowl/etc. Quote

Peppermint_M Posted February 14, 2012 Posted February 14, 2012 I was thinking that the green, orange and yellow sprues all in one post look like a stew or a curry/chilli depending on presentation. Quote
spzero Posted March 13, 2012 Posted March 13, 2012 (edited) Are my vulture's lego, It looks like maybe an old lego piece but no markings, but then I cant see any on the other birds, Also its about the right scale and has great grip to the stud (better than one of the owl's but its not to tight?) I can't find any reference to one, so what is it if its not lego, I know its a bit dirty its come from a huge collection I got mainly of 70's - 90's lego there were some non lego branded stuff mainly warhammer a few toy cars and a handful of megablocks here's some pics! thanks with there animal friends Tail feathers side view top and bottom Thanks again in advance!! Piranha Posted March 13, 2012 Posted March 13, 2012 I am going to say that those vultures are not LEGO AFAIK. Quote
shinobisgreenshinpads Posted March 29, 2012 Posted March 29, 2012 Hey folks, I've just joined (hello!) so apologies if this is in the wrong section (couldn't find an identify parts on?), but could anyone help me with some parts? They're just various minifigure parts and was wondering if anyone knew where they were from (there's a joker head on top of an Indy body that looks like it was taken from the film, but I don't remember that one being done so assumed it was a custom). Any help greatly appreciated! Minifigure parts Quote
Kookaburra Bomb Posted March 29, 2012 Posted March 29, 2012 (edited) Bricklink will be able to help with most of what you are looking for as far as torsos and heads. As for the latter question, a quick look through didn't show me any for the joker henchman face but a quick google search revealed a Dark Knight figure set which did have that head. Good luck with the rest and happy bricking! Edited March 29, 2012 by Kookaburra Bomb Quote
