Alexandrina Posted November 12, 2024 Posted November 12, 2024 They all look the same colour to me. Minor variations, sure, but any given piece I'd say is bright light yellow, and I can't see a distinct enough difference between any two to counter my instincts. It's certainly not light yellow. That would be far more immediately obvious. Quote
Murdoch17 Posted November 12, 2024 Posted November 12, 2024 I also see no color changes in the picture posted. Quote
nimrod6134 Posted November 12, 2024 Posted November 12, 2024 (edited) Appreciate all the input! Seems like just color variation. I did discover I have been mixing Yellowish Green with Bright Light Yellow in my current build while trying to figure this out, hah. May be time to check out those colorblindness correction glasses. Thanks again! Edited November 12, 2024 by nimrod6134 Quote

I am seriously colorblind, so all I see in your photograph are three different colors: There seems to be green (top right), gray (right) - and well - some shade of yellow I gave up on identifying any colors other than the "real" black, blue, green, red, yellow, light gray, light bluish gray, dark gray, dark bluish gray, and taataaa "white". The latter comes in a broad variety of "yellowed" states - which simply means: Could be white. I also decided that this makes my life much easier: There are apparently some issues TLG and other companies have with producing stuff with the same color in the same color. I don't believe in these rumors Best, Thorsten Quote

[edit] Oh sorry, I actually read too quick and missed the part where you said you're colorblind. As for the yellow, to me they mostly look the same aside from very minimal color variation. agkoo Posted November 13, 2024 Posted November 13, 2024 I am back with some more shocking discoveries, LOL. I noticed there are darker and lighter versions of Trans-Dark Pink and Trans Orange. The difference is small but I swear I can see it. While scrutinizing these bricks I noticed that they are also different molds. There exist a thicker and a thinner stud-top. In other words the area that carries the LEGO logo. The difference is HUUGE, anout twice (or half) the thickness between the variations. I thought maybe that causes the difference in the hue but to my surprise, while it is the case with the Trans Orange (i.e. the ticker one is also the darker one), it is just the opposite with the Trans-Dark Pink part. The thinner version is the darker one, and the thicker version is the lighter one. So unless these are in fact different colors, which is not the case according to BrickLink, I consider these color mixing inconsistencies during manufacturing. The change in the thickness of the stud-top is deliberate, I would think. Quote
Stereo Posted December 23, 2024 Posted December 23, 2024 (edited) I'm having difficulty identifying this head. It's the "blocked stud" mold version, two faces. Edited December 23, 2024 by Stereo Quote

That seems right, goes with the Downtown Diner figure. Not sure how I missed it searching for "scared" and "open mouth teeth" heads. Quote
