This is a timelapse video of a melting popsicle. Beside using iMovie for editing I only used free software.
Cheese for taking the pictures with my webcam and avidemux for rendering them to a video.

Doing timelapse videos there can be learned many things, first of all to take care for exactly the same lighting conditions for every single frame.

Yes of course! What I was meaning is, that making timelaps videos is very similar to making (lego) stop motion videos. You can learn many things about your equipment such as camera setings and lighting conditions. As you can see there is a very slow camera movement in this video, which was not easy to realize.
