That is my plan as well, aside from the $100 gift card. I would have been able to use the gift card, but thank to some bad information I was misled about the early promotional offer. Thats what I get for jumping the gun. Oh well, when I get my refund Ill just use it for the summer sets. Glad to see it get clarified that the SSD will be 20% off though.

But talking of the now known discounts, only the Shuttle and SSD are worth it, all the others are dwarfed by Amazon sale prices.

However, I made my purchase; the Tie Fighter and a Yoda keychain for my Mum, she finds him cute

Still kinda depressing considering I could have gotten the Tie from Amazon for £39.99... but the way I see it, £10 extra for the TC-14, mini Tie and free shipping is worth it. (The poster doesn't really do anything for me

Perhaps sold out, or maybe you have to purchase the UCS R2D2 to get all the promotional items, or its too early...depending on where you live.

I've got my list made up, but I'm not going to buy the stuff if TC-14 isn't included (I have some LSW sets here but not all of the $75 is LEGO Star Wars). The message above the cart at shop.lego.com advertizes the sale, but how do I check to see if the promos have actually been added to the cart?

Maybe they are sold out but the sale has just started (and I've been trying to check out right since the start) so it would be quite weird.

They better not be sold out, I'll find out at midnight. If SAH is sold out, then I'll be hitting up my kinda of local Lego store as soon as it opens.

Yeah, but the promo is showing up on the site when I hover my mouse over the cart. (I was on there setting up a Wish List for easy ordering tomorrow, since the Anaheim store's selection is nonexistent thanks to the shoebox-sized temporary store they have to work out of until the remodeling finishes later this month.)

I remember when that happened to the Mall of America store, it sucked and was my introduction to the PAB wall so I was very happy when the new location was opened "Wait, there's more than 12 bins OMG!!"

S@H's probably having technical issues. I know last year the site was unavailable due to the amount of people placing orders when the sale first started, and, if I remember correctly, they had the same issue the year before.

I've placed four orders now. Got the TC-14 and the poster, but I haven't ever been given the TIE Mini. Is it part of the promo in the US? I don't see a reference for it on the Lego site.

We knew of it based on mutley's postcard, and he's in the UK, so it might not be valid in the US. I'm not totally sure.
