Jedi master Brick Posted April 27, 2012 Posted April 27, 2012 (edited) "Well done fellow heroes, that dragon was strong but we beat it, we are great heroes, and it was a pleasure questing with all of you. I would quite like the quiver and I would scrifice getting some gold if it meant I get the Sapphire or diamond, I do hope to become an Evoker one day." OOC: Nice loot Zarrzan Edited April 27, 2012 by Jedi master Brick Quote
Scubacarrot Posted April 27, 2012 Posted April 27, 2012 "DAMN it. His head was MINE, Mercutio's balls. Come back here, you cowardly dragon! I'll take you all on!" Guts took a smell pebble, and hurled at the flying dragons, of course not reaching the target. Turning to the party, he said: "I heard there is a group of heroes travellling to, or already in Dastan, I would give my left arm on this moment to be there. Believe me when I say, the next time I see that dragon, it will need more than a tiny bit of magic and some of his spawn to keep me from spilling his blood on the earth." Guts spit on the floor, ripped of some wrappings and applied them to his wounds and drank up the remaining wine from his wineskin, before turning to the items the dragon had left before them. "Right, I say we all get an equal share, and some of the items are arguably more valuable than others. Why don't we all give our preferences for the items, and I try to divide them as fair as possible? My personal preference is one of the statues and the diamond. Correct me if I am wrong, but are you not planning on becoming a shaman, Johon? if so, Maybe you would like the scroll? The quiver is suited best for Elgar, I feel. And the gloves would be in the best hands, hehe sorry for that, of Knifk." Quote
Jedi master Brick Posted April 27, 2012 Posted April 27, 2012 "my suggesting for dividing loot, it needs to be evened up a bit though Guts: 300 gold, diamond, dog thing Alf: 300 gold, scroll Hybros, 300 gold, cat thing Knifk: glove, 300 gold Elgar: 50 gold, sapphire, quiver" Quote

Jedi master Brick Posted April 27, 2012 Posted April 27, 2012 "The gloves are best for a knight, Johon. Any ideas for a redone loot list?" Quote
Bricksandparts Posted April 27, 2012 Posted April 27, 2012 "The gloves are best for a knight, Johon. Any ideas for a redone loot list?" "What? A knight's shield's point is almost worthless if he just reflects the attack." OoC: Seriously though, Knights are the tanks, the ones that have a shield so they can take free hits, why diminish that ability to someone else than giving him something more effective? Quote
Jedi master Brick Posted April 27, 2012 Posted April 27, 2012 OOC: you still take the free hit you just counter attack, knights , take lass damage from the hits so it is better for them to absorb free hits.. Quote

OoC: Oh, I didn't realize that. In that case yes, Knifk should get the gloves, but I still want the dog and scroll, I think guts is taking the best of the loot. He wants to give himself 300 gold, the diamond, and the dog. I'm not planning to be a shaman, I'm planning to be a raider. I want the dog and more gold or the dog, scroll, and less gold. Quote

JimBee Posted April 27, 2012 Posted April 27, 2012 Hybros nods. He had been considering telling Elgar to try to talk to the dragon, but it didn't appear calm enough. His mind was put at ease knowing that the dragon was simply protecting it's own kind, and that it would return to its homeland. Though, he hoped he wouldn't be encountering such a fierce beast any time soon. "I am perfectly fine with my share, eheh." Hybros took the gold, and put the cat statue in his bag, not knowing what to do with it. He held the emerald up to the sun, to see its magnificence. At last, the power of the imps was fully in his hands. Within Zoot's Reaper lay a garnet, and now with the emerald he could wield the powers of earth and wood, as his people did so many eons ago to protect their home on the surface. Not long now, he thought. By either magic or technology, by any means necessary he would find the imps and bring them back to the surface. Quote
Scubacarrot Posted April 27, 2012 Posted April 27, 2012 "Very well, take your shares, let's go back to the quarry owner. But hold on..." Guts turns to the bard, and asks: "Bard, two questions: You know the outlay of the quarry, have we explored everywhere? And have you found what you are looking for?" Quote
Xarrzan Posted April 28, 2012 Author Posted April 28, 2012 "That's an interesting choice Knifk," said Singerson. "I actually met a rogue who wore gloves that looked just like that. See how there are intricate designs in the leather? There are no metal plates sewn into the gloves nor has the leather been boiled and hardened. If a knight gets hit in the hand, it will hurt, but if they fit, go for it. I always wondered what happened to that rogue...she had such a lovely voice." Singerson listened to Guts' questions then motioned to the empty quarry. "Yup, you all have explored the entire quarry. I guess the only thing for you all to do is to return to the grumpy guy at the entrance." "Now I knew you heroes didn't need my assistance with your battles, SO, during the 'intermissions' and some of the exciting fights, I composed this good bye ballad! Heroes! Heroes! You battled so many foes! Heroes! Heroes! Your fans will never say nos! You smashed the dragon! Beat it good! You dashed the dragon! Won like I knew you could!" Singerson continued to sing the ballad and walk up the ramp back toward the entrance. The rest of the group shook their heads and packed up their belongings. They patched themselves up as much as they could and headed toward the entrance. When they got to the landing they saw Singerson dancing and singing next to the out cropping of rocks where they fought the spider. The party continued to walk past but Elgar seemed to notice something odd. He signaled to the group and they looked closer. They noticed that Singerson wasn't just dancing, but was dodging. Singerson was playing loudly and rapidly, hitting some sort of creatures with the music and staying just out of reach. Singerson wasn't hurt but was surrounded and couldn't escape quickly. The creatures were no where near the path the heroes needed to take to leave the quarry and get back to the Quarry master. What will the party do? Quote
Bioniclover Posted April 28, 2012 Posted April 28, 2012 Knifk was waving his arms around wildly, trying to get the party's attention, but no one noticed him. He lifted the visor on his helmet, hacking out a large clue of dust, then spoke in a wheezy voice. "Rrnnng! A...tt...a a ck!" he shouted, gesturing wildly at Singerson's tormentors. He pulled his sword out of his sheath and began swinging wildly at the arms, leading the party into battle. OOC: Thanks for filling in for me, Scubacarrot, and thanks for alerting my Questmates as to the reason for my absence in such a timely fashion!
