He took the weapons in his hands and investigated them thoroughly, giving both a few swings. "Nah, they're not my style. Too brutal, too brainless. There's no finesse nor art in wielding any of these weapons. I'd pick a trusted blade above these any day." He handed the warhammer to Tesni. "Here, you can have it if you want." I don't really feel like I need anything of the loot. It wouldn't be really fair, since I barely participated in the battle . Quote

Darkdragon Posted July 1, 2012 Author Posted July 1, 2012 The rest of the night is uneventful and the heroes all get a good night's sleep. They wake up at dawn feeling refreshed and ready to start the last leg of their journey. After Eric insists on a breakfast, they all have some food downstairs before heading out to find Kelram and eventually the home of Sir Favarious. Surprisingly, the road out of this dirty little town is nothing like the road they came in on. It's well traveled but also maintained. It's not great, but good enough to easily walk and follow to Kelram. Just as the barman's wife had told them, the road to Kelram was well marked. At any intersection there was a sign pointing them the way. A few times when they stopped for a quick drink or snack, they could have sworn they heard rustling from the wild lands along the road. They never saw anyone though, and it was assumed the noises must be animals. By the time the party reached Kelram, the sun was just beginning to set. They entered the city at the marketplace. Unlike the small stalls they were use to finding in strange lands, this city has wonderful buildings with signs on each business and large windows to view some of the goods. In the marketplace they immediately saw that the Kelram Bank, Trenycia's Magic Supplies, and Kelram General were still open this evening. Even in the strange light from the setting sun, they could see the streets were bustling with people and the noise was nearly overwhelming after a day of walking with not but the sound of the gravel under their feet. What will the heroes do? Quote

Ebony Wand - WP:8; 100 gold Lightning Rod Staff - WP:7 + Topaz; 200 gold Upstairs Potion – Restores 10 health to the target. Costs 5 gold. Tonic – Restores 5 ether to the target. Costs 15 gold. Grand Potion – Restores 25 health to the target. Costs 10 gold. Grand Tonic – Restores 15 ether to the target. Costs 30 gold. Elixir – Restores 50 health and 10 ether to the target and removes all negative effects from the target. Costs 40 gold. Remedy – Removes all negative effects from the target. Costs 10 gold. Phoenix Essence – Revives a fallen ally with full health during a battle. Costs 50 gold. Mead - Causes the encouraged-effect, doubling the target's attack power for the duration of one battle. Costs 15 gold. Smelling Salts - Causes the hastened-effect, allowing the target to act twice in one round for the duration of one battle. Costs 25 gold. Nostrum - Causes the lucky-effect, allowing the target to roll the battle die twice and get the better result of the two for the duration of one battle. Costs 35 gold. Soma – Causes the blessed-effect, allowing the target to recover 3 health at the end of each round for the duration of one battle. Costs 45 gold. Venom – Use on a weapon to make it cause a poisoned-effect on any enemy it hits for the duration of one battle. A poisoned enemy loses 1 health each turn. Costs 5 gold. Deadly Venom – Use on a weapon to make it cause the badly poisoned-effect on any enemy it hits for the duration of one battle. A badly poisoned enemy loses 10 health each turn. Costs 50 gold. The woman pauses and takes a good look at Namyrra, nods to herself and then speaks again. "I think I do have something here that might interest you though." She ducks behind the counter and emerges again with an ornate box, engraving of the four elements filled with gold. Setting it on the counter, she opens it up to face Namyrra. "Anything you like?"
