Tesni heads over to the box with Maurice following from a distance with the torch. She lifts the lid, which comes off easily, and peers down inside. She sees a bloodied leather bag overflowing with coins and becons Maurice to come closer. When he does she pulls out the bag and reaches down for the coins that fell out, that's when she sees a small hole in the bottom of the back of the box. After replacing the lid, she quickly counts the coins. There are 99 coins from the box.

The heroes continue down the other path headed West. They soon come to another junction and must decide which way to go. One path heads directly East and the other looks like it heads North after a small turn to the East.

The heroes head North which quickly turns East and then North again. The darkness is only broken by the flickering flame of the torch, the stench of wet and cold invades the nostrils, and the quiet is occationally intterupted by the sound of dripping. Suddenly a "Bing Bong Bing Ding Ding DIng Ding Ding Ding Ding DIng" emmanates from Tesni's pack and then silence continues.

The heroes keep heading North a bit more, then a sharp turn West. Suddenly the floor becomes wet with muck. Similar to the puddle they stepped in on the way into the sewer but somehow more solid. It's some sort of slime, sticking to their boots as they continue on. West becomes North and the slime covers more of the ground. North becomes West and as the heroes round the corner to head North again...a creature comes up out of the slime!

"With Dryw as my strength!" Tesni cried, rushing at the slime from the front row. 'Strange,' she thought, 'Cysgodion has ceded his position. I will have to ask the mage about this strange darkness magic. I am sure I'll have time on the boat.'

Eric hung his mighty greatsword upon his back once again and took his twin axe in his hand. The Lightning gem imbedded in the weapon would surely give this creature some sparks.

Eric attacks the creature from the front row, using Grom.

I think I should be back at full health since I automatically heal after every battle.

Maurice vs Sewer Slime - Miss

Namyrra fires off a lightening spell that sends crackles of pain through the Sewer Slime and before it can recover from the jolt, Eric slices off part of the slime. Unfortunately there was enough life in that portion to create another smaller Sewer Slime. Maurice swings at the slime, but misses it completely in the chaos.

Namyrra conjurs up a mighty beast of lightening and in a flash it appears and give the Sewer Slime another jolt of lightening. Even in it's near death state, however, the slime manages to take some life force from both Eric and Tesni. Perhaps the bright flash from the summoning was too distracting, but Maurice finds that his feet are engulfed by the Small Slime and he is unable to move into the back row.

Eric gasped for air as the creature bit him gravely. He reached out for a potion, but then noticed he had brought any. He cursed to himself and then prepared to renew his attack. Offense is the best defense, he hoped this would be the case now, too.

Eric repeats his attack on the large slime.

Raiju electrifies the rest of the life from the Sewer Slime and Namyrra spends some time to get her lightning spell directed right at the Small Sewer Slime. The slime sinks its slimy teeth into Eric again and he falls onto the wet floor. Tesni manages to damage the small slime when it attacks her and Maurice smashes his mace into it.
