RESULTS FOR ROUND THREE

Tesni vs. Sewer Gate - Special Damage

Eric vs. Sewer Gate - Critical Hit

Namyrra vs. Thief - Spell (darkness)

Maurice vs. Sewer Gate - Hit

Tesni swings again at the gate, but hits the strong post Eric had found and the shockwave sends shivers through her sword and into her arms. Eric takes out all his frustration of the tunnels on the defenseless gate and demolishes it in one final blow, the rusted iron falling noisily to the floor before the party. With the gate dispatched, Namyrra has an easy time turning the thief into dust in the wind with her Darkness spell. Poor Maurice finally has his mace aimed true but both targets are destroyed before he gets a chance to swing.

As the thief-dust clears and the last of the gate tumbles to the stone floor, another thief rounds the corner with his sabre raised he charges the party without a word. He looks much more experienced that the last guy.

The ratttling the door post gave her shuddered around. "D-d-d-d-oooo I switch b-b-b-b-lades????" It was true, hitting hard on harder was a date with the shakes.

"Tesni, dear, are you okay? I think Maurice should give you some healing, you don't look too good. And I think Cysgodion would be better suited to take out this thug than Dryw ar Zoot, Cysgodion's dark soul should be a good match for the thug."

All of Eric's frustration from the sewer and the gate injuring him comes out as a mighty swing of Godricsleif that cuts the High Thief in half, leaving the bloodied sack of gold to fall off his belt and hit the wet stone floor.

The heroes pass around the bloody bag of gold, taking their own share out and then head North through the doorway that once held the gate. After a short time, they come to a junction that presents the choice of heading North or East.

Which way will they go?

The party continues following the hallways North. It twists and turns a little bit and they are shortly facing another gate. The gate is strikingly similar to the previous gate.

"Here we go again" Eric mutters as he takes out his ancient dwarven twin axe again. Lightning cracked alongside its blades. "Never thought I'd be fighting old gates in a sewer..."

If we do have to attack the gate, Eric will attack from the front row.

The gate rattles on it's hinges. With the light from the spell, the party can see that this gate looks a lot less rusty then the last one.

"Well, I guess I try and hit the gate with my mace from the front row then."

Maurice couldn't really understand why they had to smash through every obstacle they encountered, but maybe that was something their party leader enjoyed. Anyway, he let it pass for now.

The heroes attack the defenseless gate with no remorse. It does not fight back as Eric swipes viciously at it with his axes, sending sparks of lightning everywhere. Namyrra summons the mighty Raiju to assist the group against this great foe, Tesni lets out a mighty War Cry, and Maurice performs a Miracle.
