Posted April 11, 201212 yr Hello everyone. I have just started using LeoCAD and tried transferring builds from LDD to it. (LDD can save in LDraw format and LeoCAD can open LDraw format) It works, but usually leaves out 5-10 parts (they aren't in the parts library). Is there a way i can use the LDraw parts library in it? I tried contacting the maker of LeoCAD and haven't got a reply from him yet. The reason i am doing this is i use the rendering and modeling program Blender. I can convert the LDraw files to 3DS (which Blender can open) and make them look all nice and realistic. Thanks all, all information is accepted and Appreciated!

You can import LDraw part in LeoCAD (file > Piece library manager > import piece), but are you sure that the needed parts exists in LDraw library? You can also use LDView to export 3DS files.
