Minifigure series 7.5 (Team GB, aka these figures) are the only Olmpic figures so far and are only for sale in the UK to celebrate the Olympics. You can buy the minfigs online though, like I did with mine, or trade with someone in the Trade Forum.

I wasn't a fan of the whole Olympic franchise at first seeing how much money was wasted on it. But I admit, from getting one a Sainsburys earlier today I have to say the Archer is rather nice, especially the hair.

Isn't the archer the rarest one? I got only 1 archer out of the 15 packs I bought online. Does anyone think that TLG will make more minfigs for the 2016 Rio Olmpics? Too bad they didn't make any for the 2008 Olmpics, which I travelled to China to see (stupendous opening show)

Oh right, I bought mine at Tesco :classic:

Was taking some close-ups of the figs faces today and noticed that the swimmer had the worst print quality..

I'll edit this post and let You know when I get the rest of the mugshots and overall pics online (if anyone is interested).

EDIT: "bigger" shots of the figs and their faces.

Think you might have got unlucky, looking at my swimmer the printing looks better quality.

Well, my set hasn't arrived and the persons eBay store has been closed :cry_sad:

Oh dear! Did you "Pre Order" from this eBay seller? If they haven't delivered can you make a claim through PayPal? If you can I'd be doing it immediately. In saying that, just because their store is closed, does not necessarily mean the seller has disappeared. If they have disappeared then definitely make your claim ASAP.

Ebay shut it because of a complaint and told me I have 30days to ask for my money back. I'm giving them a chance though because I got a shipping notification and others have said that they received them fine... so fingers crossed!

EDIT: Well, they were waiting for me when I got home!

Hi

bad news: I have been for 1,5 days (Saturday and Sunday) and another Thursday in London last week. I was not able even to find a single fig - not saying i planned to buy 1-2 sealed boxes...

The Lego store told me there are out of stock and only availabe in small volumes (9 per person and day). It tooks me at least 1,5h of my London trip to got there - a time i wasnot willing to spent again. All WHSmith i have seen have been small shops with just snack and newspaper or books, but no Lego at all. I am sure there are WHSs in London that are quite big and have Lego but i had no idea where and i wasnot willing to spent expensive London time on unsucessful trips.

I am dissappointed :(

As Dino, I'll be in London Thursday. Could some kind London Eurobrickers point me a store where I can find and buy some Team GB minifigures? The area of Leicester Square / Covent Garden would be perfect. I don't plan to buy a box but around 30 packs.

Many many many many thanks,

Wakwak

Try & find a WH Smiths, they're overpriced though at £2.49 per pack

So I'm getting one full set of these minifigs, but also want doubles, anyone know which doubles I should get?

I want a swimmer double for my beach but that is it.

Also don't forget I am giving away a full set on my site for those interested.

I'd dearly love to get two full sets, as I've done with each of the "regular" Minifigures series, but it's going to be tough for me given that I'm in the US...

:sceptic: Whichever ones you like the most?

I've been in London last week. I picked up two random figs, as a souvenir for the Olympics (I'm not that interested in them). Picked up an archer and the judo girl.

I visited the Lego store in Westfield (near the Olympic Parc) They were sold out there (so I filled a PAB cub), but the Olympic Store on the top floor of WHSmith had like 30 boxes of figures. I came across the minifigures, where they sell Olympic stuff and in toy stores. But they are rarer then regular figs.

Near Leicester Square, it's a 10min walk to Hamleys (which is a huge toy store in Regent Street). I've seen the figs there for sure at the cash desks (not on every floor though). Hope you find them :classic:

Edit: Oh, I just noticed that you visited London last Thursday. Hope you managed to find them!

I was very surprised to see them on sale here in the Republic. And it seems they're popular too, the shop said they'd only got them in late last week and were already running out. That never happens here, not even for games console launches. I got their last full box. First time I've bought a full box....

toys r us seem to have loads, 5 0r6 boxes each store but they are limiting them to 9 figs per customer. i managed to get a box before this all came about.

I lucked out. I ordered 30 packs. I'm in the US. I got one complete set and almost a second set. Missing the weight lifter and Judo girl. Got a bunch of boxers, swimmers, gymnasts and one tennis player as extras.

I don't think that any fig is particularly rarer than any other, I bought a full box of 60 and got 6 complete sets and 6 other figs so got 6 or 7 of each fig (6 archers). I know someone else posted a box breakdown earlier in this thread and they found similar although the 6 other figs were a different assortment as he got 7 archers.

Yeah, that was me. 6 each of the boxer, weightlifter, and equestrian; 7 each of the other 6.
