bmollema Posted April 18, 2012 Posted April 18, 2012 Simply a great design....would like to see your hand in the future technic lego designs.... Will you create a parts list? Bernhard Quote
Paul Boratko Posted April 18, 2012 Posted April 18, 2012 Are there any possibilities of instructions in the future? I guess most of it could just be built from the pictures. Could this be done in Yellow do you think? There are not going to be instructions for this, however, after I get back from Brickmagic, I am going to build a second model before I ship this one out to Spain and I will take a lot of good pictures of the build so it should make it easy for anyone if they want to replicate it on their own... Also, there are no Large Panels in Yellow yet and this requires 2 of them... It also has FOUR #4 connectors which in Yellow are currently at ridiculous prices on bricklink... Quote

TimH Posted April 19, 2012 Posted April 19, 2012 (edited) Paul, can this model be built using the parts from 8070 Supercar? Is there any special parts needed? Thanks Tim Edited April 19, 2012 by TimH Quote

Thanks Tim If you have the 8070, I'd say that you have a nice chunk of the needed parts... There are 2 Red Panels that are not being produced anymore, but you can still get them at bricklink... They are ridiculously overpriced though... $10 a piece is crazy talk... So close, Black with red trim - a quick Google image search on "Black and red porsche" yielded a few good looking pics (too large to link in here) Just checked them out... Definitely some possibilities there... Quote
Alasdair Ryan Posted April 19, 2012 Posted April 19, 2012 Are the lego group stopping making those panels in red already? I got about 8 of them so i am ok. Quote

Yeah, you can't buy them from Lego anymore.. They told me that they are discontinued... I ordered 120 of them about 2 1/2 years ago for $1.25 each from someone on Bricklink and I have 2 left... The Yellow panels are Discontinued as well and the prices are just as insane... I am sure these will make a return at some point in the future... Edited April 19, 2012 by Paul Boratko Quote
