Atramor stabs Ratsbane into Commander A (28), and Badly Poisoning him. Knyghton receives 15 damage from another Commander. In Alandri's Quarters, Alexandre swings at Loren for 14 damage. Lamorak cleaves Nyx (7), but she returns the blow with a whorl of darkness (13x2 -5=21). Lucan parries Galen's strike, and quickly stabs him in the back for 6 damage, plus allows poison from his blade to seep into the rogue's veins. Luke manages to trip Pikeman A again (1). In the South Corridor, Cronk bashes XX (33), but Chimera Guards A and D rise again. William fires three shots to Chimera Guards E, F, and G, dealing 19 damage to each. Skrall fires a shot from his Heavy Crossbow at Elite Guard B, which pierces his armor and sends him flying to the back row (159). Perhaps fortunately for the heroes, the Imperial Guards decide to take a defensive position, preventing them from dealing free hits for the next round. Archer B fires an arrow into Sarick for 7 damage, and Arthur fails to blind the traitorous emperor. Xander and Isabella take on the Archers (24, poisoned and 14). Nerwen smacks Guard D with her hammer (15). All enemies' poison takes effect, and Galen clings on to dear life. Phil, there's no point in doing so, seein' as how you'd be cut down anyway...Knyghton, I sorta assumed you'd be fightin' from the back, but there's point in that now either..." I took ten damage the round before last, + 3 back for being blessed and then 17 damage this round, + 3 back for being blessed. So (30 -(7+14) = 9). "Friends, we will be overwhelmed in no time; it's 50:50 whether even I'll survive another round, and I'm lucky right now. There's no strategy or tactics in just blundering on to certain death.
