IC: De'kra turned his attention back to Chimera Guard G, hoping that this time he would defeat it. As the echo moved to strike from the back row, De'kra held Chiara firmly I his hands, in the hopes off an accurate attack..

OoC: Everything looks fine Brickdoctor don't worry about changing it. Skrall should regain 3 health from the blessed effect, also he used his Heavy Crossbow the last round so Elite Heavy Guard A should be in the back row. :wink:

Sarick was missing his intended targets often in this battle, it was a good thing that there were so many foes grouped together that he at least hits something. Sarick continued to attack Elite Archer B from the back row with frost magic.

Phil starts off strong by immediately halving Lion Commander D's health with a terrific hit from his hammer. Tarn is not so lucky, however, as another Commander sidesteps his swing and rallies his allies, encouraging all of them for the next round. Atramor stabs Ratsbane into Commander A (28), and Badly Poisoning him. Knyghton receives 15 damage from another Commander. In Alandri's Quarters, Alexandre swings at Loren for 14 damage. Lamorak cleaves Nyx (7), but she returns the blow with a whorl of darkness (13x2 -5=21). Lucan parries Galen's strike, and quickly stabs him in the back for 6 damage, plus allows poison from his blade to seep into the rogue's veins. Luke manages to trip Pikeman A again (1). In the South Corridor, Cronk bashes XX (33), but Chimera Guards A and D rise again. William fires three shots to Chimera Guards E, F, and G, dealing 19 damage to each. Skrall fires a shot from his Heavy Crossbow at Elite Guard B, which pierces his armor and sends him flying to the back row (159). Perhaps fortunately for the heroes, the Imperial Guards decide to take a defensive position, preventing them from dealing free hits for the next round. Archer B fires an arrow into Sarick for 7 damage, and Arthur fails to blind the traitorous emperor. Xander and Isabella take on the Archers (24, poisoned and 14). Nerwen smacks Guard D with her hammer (15).

All enemies' poison takes effect, and Galen clings on to dear life.

"Like hell we're going to be overwhelmed at all.....Galen, I suggest you use your Smoke Bomb so you can all get the hell out of there. They'll have to move in and take Alandri, so ya'll can safely move south. Nyx can grab Flavius, Luke can heal you, and then you can come further south and help us take out these commanders."

He lashed out again, but this time at Rogue Knight Commander D, from the back row.

"Tarn, take them from the back. Phil, there's no point in doing so, seein' as how you'd be cut down anyway...Knyghton, I sorta assumed you'd be fightin' from the back, but there's point in that now either..."

Xander looks around him, seeing many of his fellow heroes hurt from wounds; if there was ever a time for a miracle, it was now.

OoC: I think my health should be 9 due to being blessed. I took ten damage the round before last, + 3 back for being blessed and then 17 damage this round, + 3 back for being blessed. So (30 -(7+14) = 9).

"Friends, we will be overwhelmed in no time; it's 50:50 whether even I'll survive another round, and I'm lucky right now. There's no strategy or tactics in just blundering on to certain death. I agree we should retreat to the South with the aid of Galen's smoke bomb and in the hope that Luke will heal us and there we can regroup with some allies."
