"Actually, Knyghton only does 2 damage less when attacking from the back, thanks to the standard-issue crossbow he's using. He should attack from the back. "

It's not in my best interests to point this out, but it's the right thing to do. You did not take into account the Encouraged status of the Commander when calculating Tarn's damage. It should be 30/2-2 rather than 15/2-2.

Rogue Lion Commander D wasn't Encouraged, he was the one doing the Encouraging.

IC: The echo slammed to the ground, his body throbbing. As he struggled to stand he could just about see something, just out of his field of vision. A glimpse, just a whisper, but enough to flare his eyes to a burning green. In truth he didn't recognize this demonic presence, at least not personally. But he had seen it before, of that there is no doubt. Memories of them had haunted him sincere had arrived on that mad isle of Uland! Perhaps...perhaps his luck might change if he moved to fight them...

Forcing himself back to the battle, Dekra clicked, "It appear as though I "bad luck" in battle not about to go away. Perhaps I could use bone this turn while I hopefully get heal? Would that help, or at least stall enemy for time?"

Cronk will heal Cronk and bash Choas Beast B from front row. Cronk will be using his new lance to bash any beasts in case Zoot's Bane not as effective.

Tarn sighs as he once again fails with Lion's Heart, so on seeing the Chimera Guards finally catch up to them, he targets Chimera Guard C from the front row using his double-damage dealing Helbaerend battle axe.

In frustration Denarii screeched and drew another arrow, determined to take down the elite guard.

Her hand barely trembled and the glint in her eye showed she was not to be taken lightly.

Nerwen was finally finding her stride in battle, healing and striking, she had found balance. The fight seemed to be shifting for them. Darting around the ogre to strike the first guard while keeping herself safe, she asked Skrall,

The battle wears in our favour. I don not want to count Rito before they hatch, but perhaps Isabella could flee and take her phoenix essence to the trone room, where it is needed?

I'm pointing it out for the next round. Cronk hit Chimera Guard A a while ago with Paralyzing Venom, it got killed, and then got revived, I'm wondering it the effect is still there. This could easily be a matter between life and death.

QM Note: No, all effects, good or bad, go away once an enemy or hero is KO'd.

Cronk thought so but wasn't sure. If that is case, then Cronk will bash with sword.

QM Note:

The map shows William as Knocked Out; this is incorrect. I had run half the Round already when WBD posted the Order of Actions, and one of the changes was putting Cronk ahead of William, healing him and preventing him from being KO'd. The stats are correct, but I forgot to change the map.

"Hmm. Not a bad idea, De'kra. Ultimately it's up to you whether you wanna play safe and use a Bone or try and attack."

De'kra nodded vaguely, as the feelings subsided. The echo tossed the bone at Rogue Lion Commander A with what strength he could muster, hopefully stopping the foe from dealing any damage. But this would only stall for time.

"Er, De'kra...generally you should try to distract a living opponent, aye? I've got C, I'd go for Commander B or D."

IC: De'kra nodded as he rubbed his head. Apparently that blow had harmed him more than he had thought, or perhaps the long campain in Dastan had finally begun to wear down on his senses. Quickly he changed his target to Commander B, flinging the bone from the back row as best he could.

Nyx grimaces as Thothwick falls; she had grown accustomed to his company and the choices for her Phoenix Essence were mounting, although the opportunities to use it remained somewhere around zero. As new enemies surge into the Throne Room, the shouts from her allies continue.

"Nyx, could you handle Blackenord?"

"The question is more whether he can handle me." Her face turns to thunder as she finds Blackenord's face in the sea of enemies.

"He's mine. I have a debt to repay."

Nyx feels the swell of the storm as she takes out her Topaz to cast Lightning magic on Lord Blackenord from the back row through her book.

Skrall loaded another bolt into his Hunter's Crossbow, he had fallen into a rythem firing off bolt after bolt. He took aim again at Emperor Roland from the back row. "Isabella go ahead and switch to one of them imperial guards if you've got the time, if not we'll make do. We're goin' to have to make quicker work of these chaps, the throne room group isn't goin' to be able to hold our fer long. Ms. Nyx, I noticed ya were totin' along a rather strange lookin' bomb earlier, mind tellin' me what it does?"

Luke took haste to heal De'Kra using Arthur's Staff of Elven Necromancy from the back row. "Hold fast little one, I'll see your wounds are mended."
