commodore_legolas Posted November 11, 2014 Posted November 11, 2014 Autorazr, that head is perfect for a yellow Zod. Great work! Quote
paddraigphoto Posted November 11, 2014 Posted November 11, 2014 Thanks Numbuh1Nerd. Now I just need to find a trench coat for Gambit and my Superhero MoCs will be 100% purist Quote
Numbuh1Nerd Posted November 12, 2014 Posted November 12, 2014 I wish Lego would just simply make cloth trenchcoats like that, though. They look so much better than the printed ones. Quote
Numbuh1Nerd Posted November 14, 2014 Posted November 14, 2014 The new CMF Genie's hair would work pretty well for Artemis. Can't find a good head or torso in my personal collection, though. Quote
MattZitron Posted November 15, 2014 Posted November 15, 2014 (edited) I've not posted in a while (kids/money) but I've had this figure ready for posting for a while. Turns out the Iphone 6 is a fairly good Lego camera, so here's my version of Captain Marvel (Mar-Vell) Here's a reference pic: I decided to fiddle with the colour scheme to stay Purist and to get the feeling of the character. I initially tried an epaulette but it didn't work. I'm really happy with this figure. Edited November 15, 2014 by MattZitron Quote
Numbuh1Nerd Posted November 15, 2014 Posted November 15, 2014 Dude! That head/hair combo is perfect! The whole thing is fantastic, really, but that head works better for Captain Marvel than it did for Captain America! Quote
Zergos Posted November 15, 2014 Posted November 15, 2014 I have some more purist figures I made in the past couple days. Capt. Boomerang, and Golden Glider since I hadn't seen anyone attempt her yet. Also updated my Rogues picture. Quote
rome00150 Posted November 16, 2014 Posted November 16, 2014 Does anyone know if there is a flesh color head with a eye patch? Quote
Godtshep Posted November 16, 2014 Posted November 16, 2014 Does anyone know if there is a flesh color head with a eye patch? There is one in the Prince of Persia line. Quote
rome00150 Posted November 16, 2014 Posted November 16, 2014 There is one in the Prince of Persia line. Do you know one that wouldwork better for a deathstroke? Quote
K-Nut Posted November 17, 2014 Posted November 17, 2014 Only one I can think of off the top of my head is the Commander Wolfe head from The Clone Wars. Quote
Numbuh1Nerd Posted November 17, 2014 Posted November 17, 2014 Anybody know of a good torso for any version of Aquagirl whatsoever? Female torsos are so limited, especially ones that aren't yellow. Quote
MattZitron Posted November 18, 2014 Posted November 18, 2014 Which Aquagirl? http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItemPic.asp?P=973pb842 There's that or a Catwoman with flesh arms. Then flesh legs with a crotch to match the torso. Quote
Numbuh1Nerd Posted November 19, 2014 Posted November 19, 2014 Which Aquagirl? http://www.bricklink....asp?P=973pb842 There's that or a Catwoman with flesh arms. Then flesh legs with a crotch to match the torso. Really any of them but Mera. That Catwoman torso seems like the best option, though. Thanks! Quote
Krikkit Posted November 19, 2014 Posted November 19, 2014 (edited) Man Spider and Tarantula King! Body of Voldemort, the legs and heads are from the Chima line, fitted to a Travis block on the back of a 1 peg bib. And an attempt at The Chameleon. This uses a Taskmaster body with the head of Voldemort. (Just the Chameleon, I know that Shocker and Mysterio are not Purist) Edited November 30, 2014 by Krikkit Images too big. Turned into links. raminator Posted November 20, 2014 Posted November 20, 2014 (edited) I gave Phoenix a try. I´m lacking flesh heads so the gloves and boots look like skin :P purist Phoenix by bricks @ raminator, on Flickr Edited January 20, 2015 by raminator Quote

Suproc Posted November 22, 2014 Posted November 22, 2014 That is just fantastic, Autorazr! What did you use for the Man-Spider? Quote
LuxorV Posted November 22, 2014 Posted November 22, 2014 It's a Spider tribe member (Sparratus) from last year's Legends of Chima line. Quote
Slurpifier Posted November 22, 2014 Posted November 22, 2014 I love the imagination used here, to create figures of characters not produced in Lego form! I recently ordered parts for a few purist Hellboy figures; may I? :) Quote
Im a brickmaster. Posted November 22, 2014 Posted November 22, 2014 Autorazr, have you tried using the Aura sing hair piece for white tiger? It's almost a perfect match Quote
autorazr Posted November 23, 2014 Posted November 23, 2014 I love the imagination used here, to create figures of characters not produced in Lego form! I recently ordered parts for a few purist Hellboy figures; may I? :) DO IT! Hellboy himself is a real tough purist fig, but I can think of how I'd do Abe and a few others. I'd love to see what you come up with. \\ Autorazr, have you tried using the Aura sing hair piece for white tiger? It's almost a perfect match I've been wanting that hair piece for so long. I actually ordered Brick Forge's ponytail in black for white tiger, but not purist so I didnt post it. Anyone got a use for Nebula's head? I got her to use the torso for huntress and now I have this cool blue head, but I already like mystique the way she is. Quote
