February 18, 201510 yr This may sound like a stupid question, but I'm new to making customs, so can anyone tell me what 'Purist' actually means? I was under the assumption that it is creating minifigures using official Lego pieces without any modifications being needed (e.g. Decals, unofficial moulds etc).

February 18, 201510 yr Multiplex looks great! Multiplex looks great, too! Not a bad torso choice for Shade, but I'd personally use a white or maybe light gray head.

February 19, 201510 yr That hair won't fit with the bandanna thanks to two little bits in the front. I'd definitely try to find some black hair, though. Otherwise, pretty great design!

February 20, 201510 yr Kyle Rayner is the GL I grew up reading so I wanted to make a version as well. I used the new Robin's head for him. I am waiting for some Bricklink orders to arrive then I will have pics to post.

February 21, 201510 yr Any ideas for a purist Black Canary? Captain Nemo posted this one a few pages back, and I think it's just perfect. If you can't get a hold of that torso, I'd suggest using the recent Catwoman torso and cutting a short blue cape to make her jacket. It's not exactly purist, but it's what I would do. Come to think of it, you could always use that torso and just bare arms if you'd like, or even the Belatrix Lestrange torso that some people seem to prefer. AND I just found where someone else used the back of the CMF Gorilla Suit Guy's torso, which doesn't look too bad either. Lots of ways to do this one, thankfully, cause god only knows how long it'll take for Lego to make an official Black Canary. Edited February 21, 201510 yr by Numbuh1Nerd

February 26, 201510 yr Holy craw, I've missed some amazing stuff. All the usual suspects have been killing it in my absence and new peeps too, its awesome. I got a new job and lost the cool camera and equipment that I borrowed from the old one, so I'm back with iphone+photoshop quality images. I hope you guys enjoy.
