Zilcho Posted September 9, 2015 Posted September 9, 2015 That's a cool piece but it's way too thick for what it's meant to represent, but I guess there's no other way to do it. Quote

It works on certain figs imo. Honestly though, I feel like they should stick with the hair they already gave Falcon. Quote

TheBigRedCheese Posted September 11, 2015 Posted September 11, 2015 As to Falcon hair, we FINALLY have an option that works, and I presume it will be the official hair come next March, unless they go bald. Unfortunately, it'll cost you at least 25.00, just for the one piece: http://alpha.brickli...age?M=sw676#T=P That's a brilliant idea! On another note, if anyone has the new Milenium Falcon and is interested in a John Stewart GL, I think that Finn's head and hair would be useful if coupled with Hal's uniform. The face, can be seen here. I'm not sure if the one shown is an alternate version or he's double sided, but either way, I'd recommend the head shown in the image. Quote
Zergos Posted September 11, 2015 Posted September 11, 2015 So I got the black manta set today, and now I got 2 aquamans... Is there a good use for his torso besides an alternate version of himself? DC of course. All help is appreciated! If not, I guess I'll leave him be.. Quote

Use the Aquaman torso, purple arm and hand, brown and grey legs, and Extremis Soldier's "normal" head. https://www.flickr.c...@N02/8617953809 This picture is not using the Aquaman torso, but its just to give you an idea. Zergos Posted September 11, 2015 Posted September 11, 2015 (edited) Thanks for that idea Legocity! I usually don't post my w.i.ps but I really am excited to almost be done this one! Here's Hot Pursuit, missing his helmet and armor, other then that he's all done.. https://www.flickr.c...eposted-public/ Edited September 11, 2015 by Zergos Quote

Zergos Posted September 14, 2015 Posted September 14, 2015 Bigger post. I have a couple ideas I need to get input on. Idk which of these torsos to use for arkham knight, and which combo to use for booster gold. So here are both options. Booster Gold 1: Booster #2: https://www.flickr.com/photos/125931999@N02/21210825279/in/dateposted-public/ Arkham Knight 1: Arkham Knight 2: https://www.flickr.com/photos/125931999@N02/20775035904/in/dateposted-public/ Finally, here's Headcase from Superboy Prime's Legion of Doom Any input you guys can give would be greatly appreciative!!! N_Cat Posted September 14, 2015 Posted September 14, 2015 (edited) I prefer Arkham Knight 1, and I don't know which version of Booster Gold you're going for, so I'm not positive. What about this torso: or this one . Edited September 14, 2015 by N_Cat Quote
JaseTJ Posted September 14, 2015 Posted September 14, 2015 Idk about Arkham Knight as much, but of the two I'd say the second Booster Gold. The other one is too monochromatic. That said, I'm not familiar with the character enough to say which is more accurate. I just think #2 looks better. Quote
Numbuh1Nerd Posted September 14, 2015 Posted September 14, 2015 Arkham Knight 1 is great, and I think the first Booster is much more in line with his color scheme. Quote
Legocity2713 Posted September 14, 2015 Posted September 14, 2015 Arkham Knight 1 is the bomb diggity! I use the same head pieces with 2012 Hawkeye's torso on mine with Hank Pym Ant Man's legs. But I'm starting to like yours a lot more now too. Quote
TheBigRedCheese Posted September 14, 2015 Posted September 14, 2015 (edited) Arno Stark (Mixture of MBU and Comic) That's a great design! It also might be useful as a "classic" comic style Iron-Man suit as well... PS: I love your signature! War: I'm looking for the Doctor... 10: Well, you've certainly come to the right place... Plus, a tip: For those of you who want to make a Mr. Miracle, here's a not so original idea for as to how to achieve his arms. Regular Bart Simpson's arms and green hands. This photo is NOT mine, credit where credit is due... and that would be to Numbuh1Nerd. Edited September 14, 2015 by TheBigRedCheese Quote
autorazr Posted September 15, 2015 Posted September 15, 2015 Did the punisher combos turn out ok? Had to cut that sticker to fit a torso, looks good though, I posted a pic on IG @dick_jones_ocp Quote
Skier1215 Posted September 18, 2015 Posted September 18, 2015 Does anyone have an idea for Kang the Conqueror? Quote
Zergos Posted September 18, 2015 Posted September 18, 2015 Does anyone have an idea for Kang the Conqueror? Purple helmet, Jay Airjitzu's head, green arms, purple hands. Not sure about torso or legs though. If the colors were reversed, the junior goblins legs would work perfectly. Wish I could be of more help :S Quote
ianmrid Posted September 18, 2015 Posted September 18, 2015 Does anyone have an idea for Kang the Conqueror? This was my attempt a while back - I think the Airjitsu head mentioned above would work better tho. Once I get that, I might have to update! Torso is the reverse of the Lex Power Armour polybag figure btw. Quote
Zergos Posted September 18, 2015 Posted September 18, 2015 Oh dang I totally forgot about that torso, nice job ian! Quote
Legocity2713 Posted September 19, 2015 Posted September 19, 2015 Yeah that torso is really nice looking, very versatile from both sides. Great fig btw. Quote

K-Nut Posted September 19, 2015 Posted September 19, 2015 Only thing I don't like is the face. I've never really been a big fan of it. Otherwise it looks nice! Quote
TheBigRedCheese Posted September 19, 2015 Posted September 19, 2015 Another idea! This works for both Punisher & Crossbones. If the official Crossbones figure ends up being less printed than we'd like, I'd recommend trying to snag a few extra CMF "Skeleton Guy" minifigs, and using his arms (http://alpha.bricklink.com/pages/clone/catalogitem.page?P=981982pb56#T=C&C=11) and legs (http://alpha.bricklink.com/pages/clone/catalogitem.page?P=970c11pb25#T=C&C=1) to "beef up" his printing. The legs might work better with black hips, but I'm sure you guys know how to experiment with colors and all that. Also, the purist Punisher designs that are out there, including mine, could benefit from those arms almost definitely, and perhaps the legs as well. I know I posted it already, but in cased you guys missed it, here is my Punisher design again: Punisher: Hair: This in black. Head: This. Torso: This backwards with black arms and white hands. Guns: These. Legs: These. That design can be seen here, on the right: https://www.flickr.c...eposted-public/ This design is my own, and pretty much original to boot. :) EDIT: Superboy's sleeved arms, as Legocity2713 said, would look great. Either use the flesh hands they come with, or try some black gloves. Also, the CMF Gamer has those grey and black sleeves, those might be useful as well. EDIT 2: I just realized that the photo I linked to has a non purist trench coat, so just kindly ignore that. Quote
