Sir Gareth Posted September 19, 2015 Posted September 19, 2015 (edited) Been dying to make this one since February. Superior Spider-Man: Edited September 19, 2015 by Sir Gareth Quote
N_Cat Posted September 19, 2015 Posted September 19, 2015 Only thing I don't like is the face. I've never really been a big fan of it. Otherwise it looks nice! Agreed. The torso, hair and pants are all solid choices. Maybe the Sabine or Karai head would work? Quote
Zergos Posted September 21, 2015 Posted September 21, 2015 Got jokerland today, so I fixed up my purist shade figure. Also took a pic of the classic teen titans tv show lineup. Titans: Updated Shade: Quote
Legocity2713 Posted September 22, 2015 Posted September 22, 2015 A pretty decent Talon from the Batman comics using the Unkar's thug from the Force Awakens sets. Picture is not mine (as per usual) , but credit where credit is due. Quote
Borex Posted September 22, 2015 Posted September 22, 2015 Saw some prelim pics from the Nexo Knights theme with red muscled torso's. Might come in handy for a custom Red Hulk? (Or is there already a red muscled torso?) Quote

(Or is there already a red muscled torso?) I saw that too. I really hope it's not just preliminary because I've been waiting forever for a red muscle torso. Can't wait to use it for Scarlet Spider (Kaine)! Quote

Can't wait to use it for Scarlet Spider (Kaine)! Wow, that would go great for Kaine. Saw some prelim pics from the Nexo Knights theme with red muscled torso's. Might come in handy for a custom Red Hulk? (Or is there already a red muscled torso?) Yeah, i saw that too. Great idea! We just need to find a good head now. Legs can be Spider-Man dual molded ones (if you want him to have jeans shorts) ----- Moon Knight purist figure using the Black Knight from the Scooby Doo: Not my picture, credit where credit is due. JaseTJ Posted September 22, 2015 Posted September 22, 2015 So I've been wondering why my Scarlet Witch didn't look as good as she always did in pictures with the better hairpiece... Until I realized I wasn't using the right one :P I just placed three Bricklink orders because of it, actually. To get the PotC mermaid's hair rather than Endor Leia's as well as a bunch of pieces for a couple of DC characters. Remember my League..? due to money being tight and trying to save up for a ring I could only order enough Dastan torsos for 10 total, but... Still :3 Quote
Zergos Posted September 23, 2015 Posted September 23, 2015 I decided to upload the first of the metal men. First up, Tin!! Quote
Silent Nomad Posted September 23, 2015 Posted September 23, 2015 (edited) So I've been wondering why my Scarlet Witch didn't look as good as she always did in pictures with the better hairpiece... Until I realized I wasn't using the right one :P I was curious earlier about what Scarlet Witch's hair looks like on action figures of her, so I looked it up and found one by Hasbro that essentially has the exact same hair as the mermaid hairpiece that people replace her original hair with. I thought that was cool, so I wanted to share. I'd post a picture here, but I'm having trouble finding a good picture that's small enough.I also just now found this image on the Marvel minisite, which confirms my suspicions that they're using light blue lightsaber blades as Black Widow's stun stick things in the Lego Avengers video game. I assumed they would, and I had the same idea for myself, so I bought a couple off of bricklink for use when I get that figure, which will most likely happen in the beginning of next month. I like getting inspirations for weapons from video games like that, except that my inspiration came before seeing the image this time, which might be even better. JaseTJ Posted September 23, 2015 Posted September 23, 2015 Yeaaaah it's a bit too 70's/80's for the official one IMO. Quote
Zergos Posted September 25, 2015 Posted September 25, 2015 I got starfire a couple days ago, so I was wondering how I would go about a purist version of her sister blackfire. Any ideas is much appreciated. Quote
Legocity2713 Posted September 25, 2015 Posted September 25, 2015 I got starfire a couple days ago, so I was wondering how I would go about a purist version of her sister blackfire. Any ideas is much appreciated. Not too sure on a torso besides Starfire's very own with gray/silver sleeves. Same goes for the legs unless you want plain black ones with a purple hip. Also maybe the punk skater CMF's hair or a Starfire-style black one. Quote
Legocity2713 Posted September 25, 2015 Posted September 25, 2015 Purist Hawkeye Not my picture. Credit where credit is due. The same guy has some great Harry Potter upgrades. (And although Harry Potter isn't a superhero, I fell in love with this person's MOD of the figs.) --- Quote

Does anyone have a picture of the 2015 Silver Wonder Woman torso with the 2012 Wonder Woman's legs. (Doesn't matter about the tiara.) I'd just like to see how it looks and can't find anything. Quote
Numbuh1Nerd Posted September 29, 2015 Posted September 29, 2015 (edited) Batman, Booster Gold, and Absorbing Man are particularly great! Edited September 29, 2015 by Numbuh1Nerd Quote
