Not sure if this counts but it is made to scale with minifigs, uses minifig parts and is able to hold minifig weapons and tools. Wish I had actual purple pieces instead of this maroon, it photographs the same as reddish brown.

By the way, I noticed that there are lots of useful minifig parts in the summer sets! For instance: Adi Galia's head + Saruman's hair = Storm! And I'm sure this head will be useful too. Any suggestions?

I wish fleshie legos didnt look weird to me, so many useable parts coming out but I only use yellow minifigs.

If you're willing to give Storm a beard that is. Going by good closeups of Gandalf the White, and seeing as he and Saruman share the same headgear mold, the hair and beard are one whole mold.

Hm, that's disappointing, seeing as they could have easily made it two separate pieces. I guess the closest hair piece would be Dori's then. Or you could just put a white 1x1 plate on her head and pretend it's her old mohawk.

But those are gray. For Storm, I think the most important thing is that the hair should be white. The second hairpiece did come in white in one of the Agents sets, but it had green stripes in it.

@Oky, I could see using it for Iceman, or anybody that uses energy projection/lightning powers, I think its the most exciting new thing for a minifig, sorry if you're sooooo tired of hearing it, first I'm seeing it.

No worries, we're all excited about it. I just don't think it's very useful since energy powers don't make your arm transparent, and it's only one arm. Maybe it could work for someone like the Invisible Woman?

I am not very observant, was there any white hood pieces revealed at NYTF? I really want to make a purist Ghost figure. If not, can anyone think of some alternatives? I have every part sorted except the hood.

The only alternatives I can find are the PoP Keffiyeh (not exactly his style, but it could work), or the Ninjago Zane Wrap (though it has golden accents).

I did a Ghost, a few pages back, but ended up going pretty far off track, using a helmet and a visor. I'd love a white hood, as a couple of characters could use it. It would complete my Ghost and Taskmaster, off the top of my head.

Also, watch out soon, folks. I just made 8 orders on Bricklink, totalling more than $100, of just minifig parts. Oh man, I am psyched to make up some sweet customs! Still, I am soooo not letting the lady know how much is coming out of my Paypal account. An AFOL has gotta do what he has gotta do. ;)

I wrestle with this. As a former tabletop gamer, I am completely able to think of...and execute fairly good custom work, over a number of mediums. I have built terrain, cut, pinned, puttied and painted tiny metal and plastic soldiers, etc. For some reason, however, I strive to stay purist, even at the expense of an exact look.

That said, I have ordered from Brickwarriors and love the items. I have plans to explore more of the alternate options out there. No offense to LEGO, I just want some of those cool toys!

Ultimate Electro goes through periods where he turns into all energy, so the arm and head would work very well for that I think

Very nice assortment of figures. I think however that Steve Rogers looks uncharacteristcally disheveled and Bruce Banner oddly effeminite (perhaps it's the neck line). Oberon looks good as does Granny Goodness (interesting that you chose the short cape though). I find the head choice for her is very fitting. What better option might you have? As for Mister Mircale, #1 is definitley the best of these three, but I'll withhold final judgement in lieu of the classic Space helmet + Luke head or similar. The collar on the cape is custom, or is it at that low angle so we can't see the length of the full size? If you can pull it up close behind the head, the balaclava choice might be a better choice in that regard as well.
