Numbuh1Nerd Posted June 6, 2016 Posted June 6, 2016 I did that too. I'm keeping the smiling face for my DCCU Superman figures (I changed out the head and hair on my MoS Superman), though I may change that soon, because I'm not sure it works that well. A recent idea I had was to try to make the TT Doom Patrol with Beast Boy's body and legs. Negative Man would be pretty easy, since all you'd have to do would be to put a mummy's head and white hands on it, plus an all black figure for his negative self. Robot Man would just need a purple hip piece with orange legs, plus an orange torso, arms, and hands, with an orange robot-looking head on top. The other two I'm not sure. I'm always down for more Doom Patrol! I've got an Elasti-Woman waiting on the shelf for the day when I can make a decent Robotman and get a wheelchair for the Chief! My Negative Man is on my Flickr in one of the earlier posts, but if you're going with the Teen Titans designs than you've already got it figured out as much as you ever will! Mento might be your hardest nut to crack, though. That helmet is just beyond weird.. Quote
LegoMcBoss2004 Posted June 6, 2016 Posted June 6, 2016 Riddler head (https://www.bricklink.com/search.asp?colorID=90&itemID=107307) and a purple radar dish maybe. Black legs and arms, purple hands and hips and umm dunno on the torso. Quote
Venkefedo Posted June 7, 2016 Posted June 7, 2016 How so? It is Spiderman. Looks just like the normal minifig except for arm printing. What do you want different? Many of the characters in the show are different from their comic (and/or Lego) iterations... For Peter Parker, I think using the arms from the CMF Gamer and a plain black torso would work nicely with some dark brown pants. Yeah, his shirt's blue in the cartoon, but I don't know of any blue/gray 'sleeve' arms yet... Then you've got JJJ, Harry Osborn, Gwen, MJ, various villains, etc... Quote

Silent Nomad Posted June 7, 2016 Posted June 7, 2016 I like the Rocka head, because it seems like C3PO's head gets used for every robot character. The only thing I'd change is I'd give him a black or white, or maybe red, head underneath, because he has visible eyes and the inside of his mouth is a different color too. Everything else you came up with for him is pretty great. Quote

Thanks, the reason i picked plain gold was because the back of the head is fairly visible, so maybe one of the gold heads with face frinting could work under the helmet Quote
Venkefedo Posted June 7, 2016 Posted June 7, 2016 Another option for Robotman's head is the Echo Zane head from the upcoming 70594 Ninjago Lighthouse Siege set. I don't know if he has an alt-face on the back of his head, but his main face would be pretty snazzy for Robotman. If there's an alt-face that you'd really rather cover up, there's always this bit of headgear in gold...bonus is that it'd give Robotman, a big bruiser-looking character in the Teen Titans show, a nice big jaw! Quote
Biggus_Brickus Posted June 7, 2016 Posted June 7, 2016 Not bad, Psylocke and Ra's I've already done. Used the Mongolian guy from CMF for Ra's head. For Psylocke, I use the old style generic female face because it kind of has an Asian quality to it (and used to use the CMF swimmer body but now I use Karai's from ninja turtles because she has a purple sash on). But that head for Herc (and I do have it) is genius, I'd yet to figure out a good bearded face that also has his headdress type thing represented, that one is as perfect as well get. Hey, in one of the ninjago sets, the blue ninja has an eyepatch, thought that could work for Nick Fury Quote

Numbuh1Nerd Posted June 8, 2016 Posted June 8, 2016 Those are all based on Spectacular Spider-Man, right? They're pretty great! Electro is an especially nice idea, with the yellow head and the mask that looks PERFECT for his containment suit! I might have to borrow a couple of these designs after I get my hands on those new Spidey sets! Quote

As in superman's pal non Olsen edition. From the pictures I'm finding, it wouldn't be the worst way to go, but I'd either go with the old jacket-and-turtleneck look or wait for the eventual Superman Mighty Micro to give us a Superman torso without the muscle print.
