How about the legs from the robot guy from the last minifig wave?

Sorry for not clarifying before, but those legs are actually have a bit too much printing for my taste. I was looking for something more like Hawkeye's legs, being mostly black, but having just enough printing so that it's not just plain black.

Unfortunately, however, I have too many minifigures with Hawkeye's legs whose pants would otherwise be plain black, so I'm trying to avoid using them this time.

Sorry for the confusion, and I appreciate the suggestion.

How about Civil War Hawkeye's legs coming out in the Roxxon Oil Truck set in a month or so?

Or both Ant Mans' legs. They're pretty useful imo.

Civil War Hawkeye's legs look like just the right ticket, at least, from what I can see so far. As for Ant Man's legs, I was looking for something a bit more "tactical". I'll have to keep hunting until that Roxxon Oil Truck set is released, but so far, those look great. Thanks for the suggestions! :D

Has anyone used the Bridge Battle pumpkin bomb for a custom Jack-O-Lantern yet?

Yeah I have. I'll be uploading my purist figs once I sort out making a Flickr account

Y'know, I've been wondering if it would work. I've been thinking abouy using the Scooby Doo Jack O' Lantern piece but I have no idea on good torsos or legs.

Link to my Flickr, I'm trying to upload the rest, but at the moment is...

Mach IV

Jack O'Lantern

Sentry

Elektra

Nice! On your Jack O' Lantern (which is super awesome and accurate), is that Ghost Rider's hairpiece? I thought that it was unremovable. Mind you, that's just what I've heard here on the forums, I don't have the set myself.

EDIT: Also your link leads to the mobile version of Flickr, which is cumbersome (at least for me), on a plain old computer. This is the link I copied from my browser window after rebooting it back into the full HTML version: https://www.flickr.com/photos/98230002@N02/

CMF Series 16 Secret Agent has some good tactical pants/legs and for a good low price. :)

Nah that's the pumpkin bomb from the Bridge Duel. It is unremovable though

And thanks for the link assist, I'm new to Flickr so I'm just working out a few kinks

Woah woah woah, the DC line didn't exist in 2002 or the batman line for that matter. I think you mean 2012.

Have you seen the new CMF series?

The ice queen might be good for getting bits of a Killer Frost and the penguin could be used for a Penguin henchman.

Hey Guys

Avid purist superhero MOCer, first time posting because most of my creations are pretty simple. This forum has inspired me to step up my game, so here's my first post. Netflix Daredevil. Got many of my ideas from this forum so credit where credit is due.

Thanks for the heads up! My local stores haven't got them yet, but I'll be sure to look out for them! :D

Absolutely! Plus, the Wildlife Photographer has great parts for Atom, Red Tornado, a mini-fig scale Colossal Boy (amongst the many other heroes with similar red/blue color schemes), a new parka for custom Captain Cold figures (or the henchpeople of any ice-themed villain), the Penguin Suit dude can be used as a robotic henchthing for the Penguin (or something like that), that guy with the bow and arrow can be used to modify Green Arrow, the 'ice beams' from the Ice Queen can be used for Cloak's light beams, the Dog Prize Winner's hair can be used for a first appearance Captain America, the Devil costume kid can be used for Azazel and also for A CW Flarrowverse Roy Harper, the mech girl can work for Brainiac, and a Louise Lincoln Killer Frost, the bow and arrow guy can used as Yao Fei, the backpacker's hair definitely has some use(s), the spy's hair might work for hawkeye, his legs can solve my tactical legs problem (:P), and as BiggusBricks suggested, they'd look good on the UCS Tumbler Batman, and possibly others as well, the banana suit guy can be used for a Banana Suit Deadpool, which is apparently a thing, and I can go on and on and on and on. There's an infinite number of things to do with this new series. :D :O Happy days!

Welcome to the forums! :D

Don't assume that just because something is simple doesn't mean that it isn't "worthy" or anything like that. Sometimes simple is good, because sometimes it'll inspire others, which is what the thread is about! :)

So, as for your Netflix Daredevil, I think that he's nearly perfect! The only thing that I have to say is that the face you chose for him is a bit odd, especially considering how serious the character is, and how serious that face isn't, but everything else is great! :D

Thanks for the information! It's a darn shame that those hairpieces aren't removable, as I had hoped that I could make Firestorm with them. :cry_sad::sad::cry2::cry3::sing: Oh well, guess that I'm stuck with the Syndrome hair for now.

As for the Flickr link assist, it's no problem at all. Flickr mobile is a pain in the neck sometimes. :sceptic: I recommend using a computer for links, if possible.

I've temporarily solved Bane's pants problem, and I put the CMF 15 Cat Burglar's pants in place of plain old black ones and I think they look great.

Silver Banshee Recipe:

Hair: Storm's

Face/Head: Taskmaster's, Aurra Sing's, CMF 12 Spooky Girl's, Evil Skull's, Modern Asajj Ventress', Modern Harley Quinn's, or "Classic" Asajj Ventress

Torso: Syndrome's

Legs: Also Syndrome's

Personally, I think Taskmaster's and or the modern Asajj Ventress' heads are the best, but I think that they all work.

Also, I think that the comic style Falcon can benefit from Mr. Incredible's arms and legs, with maybe the orange printed hips are switched out for plain black ones.

Daredevil's head is a problem, isn't it? I really wanted to use the horns, so could only go with a basic head. There aren't many heads in red, only two have masks with their mouths uncovered. I tried Captain Marvel, but it didn't look right - and it wasn't the lipstick. I also used NRG Kai, but I didn't like seeing eyes (he is blind after all). This is a compromise for now.

Soon I will order some BL parts to build a Rogue based on suggestions here (first time I will have bought parts for a minifig this way) and post a pic.

Can anyone help me build a Hellboy from the Nexo Knights villains? (Sorry I do not watch the show so I dunno what they are called.)

I presume you mean the Scurriers? They can't be taken apart; they're only one piece.

Hair (Optional): Samurai's/Sumo Wrestler's

Head: Devil's or Crust Smasher's (Crust Smasher is from Nexo Knights, BTW)

Torso: Crust Smasher's

Right Hand of Doom: Replace the maroon hand on his right side with a boxing glove.

Thanks!

I'll post more in the future.

Yes, Daredevil's classic masked head is an issue. Most purist customisers that I've seen use Nightwing's head, and they cover it up with something, usually a ninja headwrap, or even a mountain climber's helmet!

Personally, I'd work with any of those, and also try the following:

The CMF Boxing Helmet, the old fashioned space helmet, or the Star Wars' Royal Guard's helm

Also, some helpful links:

Google Images search for "lego daredevil purist"

All of the red minifig headgear that's available via Bricklink

Happy hunting/building! :D

Also, Rogue is always a good opening figure, and I'm sure yours will be awesome! :D

Welcome again, and best of luck! - The Big Red Cheese

Batman Beyond:

Helmet: Batman's

Head: This one (I don't know the exact name because I didn't find it on Bricklink.)

Torso: Red Nightwing's

Arms: CMF 8 Vampire Bat's (Nonpurists, if you're looking for extra accuracy, paint the wing parts red!)

Legs: CMF 15 Jewel Thief's or plain black, or the CMF 13 Galaxy Trooper's or really, any appropriate black legs.

Here's another one. My Original X-Men lineup. Obviously I didn't make Cyclops or Iceman (I think Electro makes a serviceable Iceman), but here are my versions of Beast, Angel, and Jean Grey (as Phoenix).

Dangit TBRC, I was hoping no one else noticed the useful parts from the wildlife photographer.. I was totally gonna use both arms and legs, and be original! Gawsh dangit... :(

I recently bought Kraven's torso from lego's Bricks & Pieces site but I have no idea how to complete it (well... kind of)

I will be using Dr. Strange's head for him as well as a regular black widows peak hairpiece and dark brown pants.

That said... does anyone have a good idea for what to use for his fur collar/neckpiece? I've seen people use the CMF Hun's cape but I don't have it.

EDIT: Or should I just have the figure be standard and without the fur?
