CustomJoe_MD Posted August 5, 2013 Posted August 5, 2013 All hail ReZourceman!!! purist triple blackbelt master. I'm long past the purist phase (back when the minifig color options were fewer) used to have probably half your customs in purist form so all I can say is wow. Amazing work passing the 200. I'm still not able to post pics but here is a page from my recipe book for all of you: Loki staft+ninjago gold sai makes a trident, zod helmet and armor facing the back of a tie fighter pilot minifig, and it makes a great black manta, try it out. The back of the armour looks like a breathing gizmo and the back of the zod helmet fazing forward looks like Manta just in silver. Quote
Dr Leg O Brick Posted August 21, 2013 Posted August 21, 2013 Sorry if these have been posted before, because I've only read up to page 12. I've been a comics fan since I was four, and when I came out of hospital after a major operation last year I set about taking my mind of my things by making custom superheroes. Anyway, most of them I made using hand made stickers (the horror ), but a few are purist. I don't have pictures due to my shoddy camera, but I can describe then. Thunderstrike Thor's or http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=3626bpb035 head, Blonde ponytail, Indiana Jones body, Flesh arms, Black Legs. I'm still working on the hammer. Morph (From Exiles) CM Series two Mime heads (all three, for his array of expressions), Dark blue legs and arms, and standard yellow hands, hips, torso and cape. I've got a few more but their in my Avengers mansion/base ATM, and I'll post them later I hope, but has anyone had a go at US Agent, Vance Astro, Thanos, Zemo or Korvac? Thanks for the fantastic ideas, my Avengers and X Men have just got bigger, thank you. Quote

skarski10 Posted August 30, 2013 Posted August 30, 2013 Does anyone know the piece number for the piece people are using to add things to chests and backs. All the Havoks and the Angels seem to use it. Thanks you. Quote

thewatchman Posted September 3, 2013 Posted September 3, 2013 Ok guys, ive been promising these for a while so here goes; spiderman villains / allies: ben riley chameleon scorpion unmasked electro vulture shocker mysterio ...And many more to come. :) Next up is ironman and his foes; tony with various new suits he is working on and the mechanical arm. whiplash and iron monger also, Quote
Im a brickmaster. Posted September 3, 2013 Posted September 3, 2013 Wow! Im really liking the design for the dummy arm and Iron Monger. Im not sure if there is a new version of Vulture that's black, but all your customs look promising! Quote
autorazr Posted September 3, 2013 Posted September 3, 2013 Currently the vulture is black, Id prefer a plain black body i think over that muscly one, as hes pretty old and frail (an older face too), but mostly I approve, nice vulture. Most recently actually he had his eyes ripped out by the Superior Spider-Man and briefly had cool robot eyes provided by the Spider Slayer (which is a custom we should make). Chameleon and Mysterio are pretty spot on too, though I think you're stretching with shocker, electro and scorpion. Quote
thewatchman Posted September 3, 2013 Posted September 3, 2013 thank you brick master, and yes since the brand new day story arc vulture has worn black. heroes for hire; sentry; she hulk; doc strange; crossbones; foolkiller (1) More to come, hope people enjoy part 2. thanks for the constructive crit autorazr, its hard to make true "purist" figs with what were given, but i try nonetheless. beta ray bill; taskmaster; ghost rider; craven the hunter; hawkeye; the hood; punisher; Quote
autorazr Posted September 3, 2013 Posted September 3, 2013 ok this isn't directed at you exclusively thewatchman, cause ive seen this a ton, why does everyone use the fleur de lis body for doc strange? Especially if you use the medal as the eye of agamotto, you are covering it anyway. Idk, its such a distinct symbol that has no relation to the Doc that it bothers me. Im seriously not trying to nitpick you thewatchman, your Kraven is the best of many that have been posted here, Strange is just my favorite non X-Man character and I just feel the old blue wizards body is the only way to go for him. Quote
thewatchman Posted September 4, 2013 Posted September 4, 2013 Thanks for the advice again autorazr, However i feel that the collar of the "muskateer" torso fits better considering the fleur de les is covered, than the old blue wizard torsos which dont have much going for them aside the small brown pouch detail that would be seen. xmen time, xavier; cyclops; rouge; gambit; forge; and some final randoms, wasp, antman, and yellow jacket; silver samurai; and finally a very slightly modified version of SPARKART!'s brilliant M.O.D.O.K design; Thats all my marvel custom purist peices, next time ill post some dc ones :). Thanks, I'm proud of the gun, I was going through this thread again for inspiration and saw Coulson and decided to make him, but thought I can't have him without his BFG! And I don't mind if you use the design, I started be using the big guns from the republic troopers in the SWOTR battle pack as a start point. Quote
KingPixels Posted September 7, 2013 Posted September 7, 2013 (edited) she hulk; What face and torso is that? Edited September 7, 2013 by LuxorV Please do not quote images from the same page. Thanks. Quote

ianmrid Posted September 8, 2013 Posted September 8, 2013 (edited) wasp, antman, and yellow jacket; I really like that torso for Ant-Man and even more so, the use of the Lone Rangers head for Yellowjacket - need to update mine accordingly! Edited September 8, 2013 by LuxorV Please do not quote images from the same page. Thank you. Quote
thewatchman Posted September 8, 2013 Posted September 8, 2013 The she hulk head is the collectible fig "witch" and the she hulk body is also a collectible torso, though I forget which one. Alas auto it's hard to make perfect figs with limited options, and in terms of purist it's difficult, I wish I had gone for the easy option and used yellow skin figs, makes the head and torso pool MUCH wider.
