Glad you like it, the torso is the back of the Imperial Officer that comes with the Star Destroyer Micro fighter. Quote
AmperZand Posted April 24, 2014 Posted April 24, 2014 The Riddler already exists of course, but here's my smartly dressed variant. The cane isn't purist; please ignore it. The head is only slightly modified in that I removed the robber's moustache print. The rest is purist. Quote

Are you familiar with plastic man? He can turn into anything, but retains his red, black, yellow, white color scheme. Here he is as a car Quote
Dr Leg O Brick Posted April 24, 2014 Posted April 24, 2014 (edited) Wow! I love the Speedball, instantly recognizable! And the head on Sabertooth is fantastic, really does capture his character well. Great figs! Edited April 24, 2014 by Dr Leg O Brick Quote

The head is only slightly modified in that I removed the robber's moustache print. The rest is purist. Where'd you get that torso? And can you describe how much of the cane isn't purist? I just adore that fig and I really want to make a flesh version for my own, at any cost. Quote
Captain America fan 1 Posted April 26, 2014 Posted April 26, 2014 Where'd you get that torso? And can you describe how much of the cane isn't purist? I just adore that fig and I really want to make a flesh version for my own, at any cost. The suit is from Mr burns from the simpsons collectible minifigure series Quote

Captain America fan 1 is correct about the torso: it is indeed Mr Brurns' from the Simpsons CMFs. So are the legs. The top of the cane is a hook hand (credit to RaincloudDustbin for the idea) but I had to cut the stem, i.e. the part that normally fits inside the forearm, to make it fit the light sabre handle. The bottom of the cane is a cut down bar. I don't like cutting pieces but at least both cuts are hidden inside the light sabre handle. You want to make a flesh version? Wash your mouth out with soap! Fleshies are a crime against all that's good in this world. Quote
MattZitron Posted April 26, 2014 Posted April 26, 2014 Nice Rosalind but can we keep it to PURIST here please. You've got great stuff, feel free to start a thread on the Minifig Customisation Workshop board. Quote

TheBatstan Posted April 27, 2014 Posted April 27, 2014 (edited) That suit Riddler is exactly what I was going to do, It's good to know that it looks pretty good, even better when I'll add the green hat. I plan to pick up 2 Mr.Burns for Riddler and a purist Neal Adams Ra's al Ghul Edited April 27, 2014 by TDKR2012 Quote

Hulk_Smash Posted April 27, 2014 Posted April 27, 2014 I improved my Professor X so he is more accurate to the animated show And after seeing The Amazing Spider-Man 2 for the second time I decided to make Rhino What do you guys think? Quote

I'd be working yellow, too, if the rest of the line was in yellow but I want all my guys to fit in with each other! I'm actually really disappointed that I can't include Abraham Lincoln in my Justice League because he'll be out of place FOR A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT REASON THAN HE WOULD IN ANY OTHER CIRCUMSTANCE!! TheBatstan Posted April 28, 2014 Posted April 28, 2014 Nice idea! What do you plan to do for Ra's's hair? I think i'll just use the widow's peak hair in black. Quote
TheBatstan Posted April 28, 2014 Posted April 28, 2014 Err, does anyone have a good idea as what head can be used for Ra's? Quote
ianmrid Posted April 28, 2014 Posted April 28, 2014 (edited) One I have been working on for ages: Strong Guy: I'm really pleased as he completes my Peter David X-Factor line up. I'm going to start a different thread where I can post some of my completed teams - I can't do it here as I don't work exclusively purist (and technically Guido's hair had to be trimmed slightly to fit, but I'm ignoring that as it's so near!) Also, two others I just did: Puck: (ignore the muscle arms please - imagine they are plain flesh! I forgot they were on him and I can't be bothered to re-photograph) Trevor Fitzroy and Bantam: Edited April 28, 2014 by ianmrid Quote
MattZitron Posted April 29, 2014 Posted April 29, 2014 Iamrid you are a genius!!! Strong Guy and Puck are brilliant. Quote
rosalind14 Posted April 29, 2014 Posted April 29, 2014 Stunning Guido!! Brilliant! And loving Puck....what's the P from? Quote
