Tobias_Jay Posted May 25, 2014 Posted May 25, 2014 (edited) @SirBrickalot That Zod is magnificent! I may have to get some of those HF armor pieces after all. Thanks for sharing. I was inspired, after watching Amazing Spider-Man 2, to make a custom Green Goblin. Apologies for crappy photo quality. Edited May 25, 2014 by Wall E2624 Quote
Sir Brickalot Posted May 25, 2014 Posted May 25, 2014 ^ Thanks! Nice GG by the way! (800th post! ) Quote
KCMatze Posted May 25, 2014 Posted May 25, 2014 Really nice job Wall E!! That is one very accurate Green Goblin. Really like it. Quote
Ceroknight Posted May 26, 2014 Posted May 26, 2014 What is the 'HF' armour piece used for Zod? They're from the current minifigure scale Hero Factory sets Quote
KingPixels Posted May 26, 2014 Posted May 26, 2014 In case you guys didn't see it in the Licenced forum, here's my attempt at a Professor X wheelchair. My main priority was making sure that when placed next to a regular figure Xavier wouldn't be taller. It's not perfect, since I haven't been able to figure out how to get the wheels to spin, but I'm pretty happy with it. (Wolverine for scale.) Quote
ReZourceman Posted May 27, 2014 Posted May 27, 2014 (edited) That's a really good Prof X. One of the best I've seen. I've been meaning to make HulkBuster for a while. Still needs a tiny bit of work, but pretty happy with this. Sir Brickalot Posted May 27, 2014 Posted May 27, 2014 Nice Hulkbuster! I decided to create some X-Men figures: First up, Professor X. Do you like him? In my opinion, I love the wheelchair, even if I say so myself. Next, Shadowcat, based on her X-Men 3 costume. This might ned a bit of work, but I think the backwards Faora-Ul torso is perfect. Iceman: Pretty happy with this one. Again, based on his X3 appearance, represented by a backward Zod torso. Finally, Pyro in X3. I quite like this one, though now I'm thinking that Starlord's torso will work well with this figure. What do you think? Quote

Try using the Mixel's joints. Edited May 28, 2014 by LuxorV Please do not quote images from the same page. Thank you. Quote
ReZourceman Posted May 27, 2014 Posted May 27, 2014 Yeah that's exactly what I'm gonna do. These joints are absolutely incredible. Quote
KingPixels Posted May 27, 2014 Posted May 27, 2014 That's a really good Prof X. One of the best I've seen. Thank you! Your HulkBuster is great, if anything it could use a bit more bulk on the arms and legs. Quote
Sir Brickalot Posted May 28, 2014 Posted May 28, 2014 Next up, I created The Rhino from ASM2. HF IFB parts come in handy a lot when creating customs! Anyway, I really love this. Here it is opened up: You can see that Aleksei Sytsevich fits snugly inside. I also created a custom Robin; Dunno if he ever wore a suit like this, but it looks cool so whatever. Finally, Man-Bat. The Pteradon wings work great for this! C&C Apprieciated. Quote
Numbuh1Nerd Posted May 28, 2014 Posted May 28, 2014 Sir Brickalot, PLEASE get me tutorial for that Rhino suit! I love it so much!! The minifig inside could use some work, mostly a different torso. That mask on Robin makes him look really old. The suit itself actually seems familiar, he may have worn something like that at one point. I'd suggest finding a way to attach Man-Bat's wings closer to where his arms go, maybe even attaching them to his arms. They don't look quite natural the way they are. Good stuff overall, Sir! Quote
Sir Brickalot Posted May 28, 2014 Posted May 28, 2014 Thanks Numbuh1Nerd! Glad you like The Rhino. I'll create an LXF file for him soon. The ironic thing is, I haven't even seen ASM2 yet. I actually agree about Robin, that suit gives me deja vu. I'll work on Man-Bat, thanks for the suggestion! Quote
Sir Brickalot Posted May 28, 2014 Posted May 28, 2014 ... And here's the LXF File for The Rhino. (By the way, the separate module shoul be attached to the 3M ball cup on the back, but LDD won't let me... It looks way better in reality than digitally ) Quote

I think Aleksei Sytsevitch could do with a bit of work-perhaps use a different torso and black legs-and do you think the new Clone head would work well? And Robin is Pretty cool. I like the use of the LR head. If you painted the new Wolverine mask and uses the LR head underneath it I reckon you could make a great Nite Owl II figure! The Brick King Posted May 28, 2014 Posted May 28, 2014 What is the best Wolverine head for a purist movie Logan? The one from the new X-Men set or Deadpool's Chopper? Quote
BlueberryWaffles Posted May 28, 2014 Posted May 28, 2014 They both look pretty much the same. You could use either one though I would do the Chopper one because there is an angry face. Must...have..that..Rhino...great job on him, Sir Brickalot! Quote
KingPixels Posted May 28, 2014 Posted May 28, 2014 What is the best Wolverine head for a purist movie Logan? The one from the new X-Men set or Deadpool's Chopper? The Chopper one is much better, as I think they based Wolvie's head on Hugh Jackman's likeness. The newer one is more cartoony. I can't find anyone selling the old one by itself on Bricklink though :( Quote
The Brick King Posted May 29, 2014 Posted May 29, 2014 Oh, thanks for the help! I actually have the Chopper Wolvie, so that should help. Now to find a good torso... Quote

Yeah, the minifig inside the suit was only really there to show off that it can fit one, but I like your suggestions, so I'll work on him. Also, great idea for Nite Owl II! Thanks again! Quote
megatron0408 Posted May 31, 2014 Posted May 31, 2014 This is such a great topic! My first is the red lantern Atrocitus: And Here is my Cyborg: Quote
Dr Leg O Brick Posted May 31, 2014 Posted May 31, 2014 Love the Cyborg custom! As KingPixels says fantastic idea on the helmet, the torso looks extremely appropriate for Cyborg, and his blaster is executed well. Great work! Quote
