I've been wanting to do Coulson for a while now and the new Ultra Agents line finally gave me a torso I'm satisfied with. The hair still bothers me a bit... there's one I like a lot better in this set I would like to get hold of: http://shop.lego.com...g-Flusher-70811 I also wanted to try and make a gun that is closer to the movie version than the game version. Still needs a bit of tweaking but I feel like I'm headed in the right direction. *After uploading the first two pictures I made improvements to the gun that I liked better (getting that second grip higher) so I'm uploading a third image of the new gun (and the proper hair.) Also, if anyone knows of a better waist I'd love to hear it. I'm not sold on the one I'm using but it's the best I could find. I am doing a Bishop at the moment Nice Hulkbuster! I decided to create some X-Men figures: First up, Professor X. Do you like him? In my opinion, I love the wheelchair, even if I say so myself. Next, Shadowcat, based on her X-Men 3 costume. This might ned a bit of work, but I think the backwards Faora-Ul torso is perfect. Iceman: Pretty happy with this one. Again, based on his X3 appearance, represented by a backward Zod torso. Finally, Pyro in X3. I quite like this one, though now I'm thinking that Starlord's torso will work well with this figure. What do you think? I may steal you idea for Bobby and Pyro :P Been thinking how I can do them Look pretty cool Quote

Numbuh1Nerd Posted June 2, 2014 Posted June 2, 2014 Great Coulson! I agree that you should try to seek out that other hairpiece, though. The Phase 2 gun seems a little thin, if that makes sense. Try to bulk it up a little more. Great stuff from autorazr, as always! I think I'm going to make an attempt at that Starfire, and possibly Oddball if I can find that head. Bishop looks great, too! It would be nice to see the rest of the future mutants by his side! Quote

autorazr Posted June 3, 2014 Posted June 3, 2014 (edited) accuracy would mean hes got a beard, skin tone is irrelevant when all is yellow. I would argue that better accuracy can be achieved by using yellow, flesh is more accurately conforming to lego's sets, which lets be honest, is not the most creative use of lego. This is the last point I want to make on fleshies, They are all licensed characters, all the faces resemble actors or characters that are very recognizable, in the case of brown heads, every black character looks like either Sam Jackson, Billy Dee Williams or Don Cheadle. The problem with this specific argument is, there is a brown flesh head with a beard...KARL MALONE. You could in this case be accurate 100% without going yellow, but of course, your bishop is gonna look like Karl Malone. Edited June 3, 2014 by autorazr Quote
