autorazr Posted July 1, 2014 Posted July 1, 2014 oh thats a great body for kid loki. I also thought the official loki wasn't green enough so I gave him dark green arms, it helps a little. Quote

Spider-Man Posted July 5, 2014 Posted July 5, 2014 I can't believe it took me a year to notice that the Spider man boots look great on Superman. I posted a picture of that on my Flickr stream a while ago when I realized it as well! I think it only looks good from certain angles though due to the amount of red on the legs. Quote
K-Nut Posted July 6, 2014 Posted July 6, 2014 I can't believe it took me a year to notice that the Spider man boots look great on Superman. Boots for Superheroes by FinalFeature, on Flickr I think they look fine one Supes, but I'm not a huge fan of the boots on Flash. It's the only option for boots, but I think they're too high up to suit him, IMO. I do think they look great on Supes, though. The red doesn't bother me too much because of the cape. Quote
Numbuh1Nerd Posted July 6, 2014 Posted July 6, 2014 I've got a batch of mostly Green Arrow villains! Professor Ivo Komodo Constantine Drakon Count Vertigo and the ehhhh-est of them all, Bamboo Monkey Shame I don't have an official Green Arrow to go with them.. Quote
Zergos Posted July 6, 2014 Posted July 6, 2014 (edited) Hey all, I finally got some pics to upload of some customs I've made. https://www.flickr.c...02/14610322993/ The Rogues https://www.flickr.c...02/14403809017/ The Atom https://www.flickr.c...02/14588367044/ Heatwave vs Flash https://www.flickr.c...02/14403794577/ Atom, Terra, and Star Sapphire Hope you enjoy. Not very happy with using yellow face for star sapphire though. Others I'm happy with. If you have any suggestions for characters, I'll see what I can do. Also, any critiques are always nice, as I'm new to purist minifigs, and I only wanna become better at it. :D Edited July 6, 2014 by Zergos Quote

Zergos Posted July 7, 2014 Posted July 7, 2014 I love your Heatwave! That torso wouldn't happen to still be on store shelves, would it? I don't think so. Found it from one of my star wars clones, and I was like "oh hey, this would be pretty nice for heatwave" so I used it. Quote

Oky Posted July 13, 2014 Posted July 13, 2014 Someone earlier in this thread suggested using Falcon's head for Static Shock, which I thought was a great idea, so here he is, together with Gear! I'm quite happy with how they turned out, although the old Nightwing hair might have been more accurate (and would have made Static look less like a black Harry Potter in a costume ) but I don't have it. Static Shock and Gear by Oky - Space Ranger, on Flickr I know little to nothing about The Green Hornet, but one thing I do know is that he is supposed to be the descendant of the Lone Ranger, so the irony of using the Lone Ranger's head for a custom Green Hornet fig was too good to pass up. Green Hornet and Kato by Oky - Space Ranger, on Flickr Going back to DC, here is my purist custom Lucius Fox / Morgan Freeman using the EIA Edition Vitruvius head. Does it come in Black? by Oky - Space Ranger, on Flickr Quote
Numbuh1Nerd Posted July 13, 2014 Posted July 13, 2014 Those are fantastic, Oky! I suggested Static, and it's really great to see that someone did it! Green Hornet and Kato rock, and I'm tempted to spring for the deluxe Lego Movie DVD to make that Lucius Fox! Quote
Captain Nemo Posted July 15, 2014 Posted July 15, 2014 My latest creation, Spider-Man vs. The Sinister Six, features none other than six Spider-Man villains, many of whom are new purist versions. Vulture, Sandman (Brick-built), Kraven the Hunter (Non-Purist, Custom Legs), Electro, Mysterio, and Doctor Octopus. Quote
Takanuinuva Posted July 15, 2014 Posted July 15, 2014 That's a very cool way of doing Vulture. Mysterio is spot on as well. Though I think Doc Ock's tentacles would look better as the ones used in Lego Marvel Super Heroes http://img541.imageshack.us/img541/7759/akb.png albeit with the pieces in actual colors. Quote

It's basically the same design, granted with different colors. Although that game design is not even possible due to a lack of correct colors and the tentacle size is also smaller then what's possible. Mysterio is amazing? What's the torso? Thanks. He uses the Hulk polybag minifigure torso. Quote

Awesome Vulture. I've seen that neckpiece on him for a lot of MOCers , I'm assuming it's an old CMF item Quote
