Numbuh1Nerd Posted November 23, 2014 Posted November 23, 2014 For my latest creation, I made a purist Ares to fight Wonder Woman: Fantastic! I used a few of those pieces in my Ares a while back, but this is so much better! Mine will definitely need some modifications! I need that Huntress torso, autorazr! That is absolutely perfect for Arrow's version of her! Quote
Borador Posted November 24, 2014 Posted November 24, 2014 Amazing Groot, Darkrattyop. And some more great figures, Autorazr. That is probably the best LEGO Mystique I've ever seen. Quote
Im a brickmaster. Posted November 24, 2014 Posted November 24, 2014 Here is my purist Earth-1 Superman. After reading the comic I thought the MoS fig would work with a few tweaks, like shaggier hair! Quote
Numbuh1Nerd Posted November 27, 2014 Posted November 27, 2014 I just looked up Madcap and that's a great figure Darkrattyop! If they have that musketeer hat in purple that might make a better alternative. Quote
Zergos Posted November 30, 2014 Posted November 30, 2014 (edited) Anyone got any good ideas what torso I could use for chillblaine? (Dc flash villain). Edited November 30, 2014 by Zergos Quote
Numbuh1Nerd Posted November 30, 2014 Posted November 30, 2014 Anyone got any good ideas what torso I could use for chillblaine? (Dc flash villain). Captain Cold's is probably the only one with the right kinda stuff in the right places in the right colors. I've got a feeling you want to keep your Captain Cold in one piece though Since we're getting a Superboy minifig, I'm retiring my old custom Superboy in favor of a 90's era Superboy. I'm not gonna upload pictures until the new sets come out and I can have two Superman torsos, but I'll give you guys the parts. Black tousled hair (or as everyone on here refers to it, Mutt Williams hair) Generic light flesh head with attitude (I'm replacing it whenever I get more flesh heads) Classic Superman torso Black arms Red hands Blue CMF Plumber hips (although plain blue hips would work) Red legs (Plastic Man's would be ideal here) I'm using black arms, since I'd like to make a jacket out of a short cape for him, although plain blue arms would suit those who are deluxe purist and do not condone the cutting of capes :) Quote
Zorglorfian Posted December 1, 2014 Posted December 1, 2014 (edited) Anyone have a parts list for Bruce Banner and / or White Tiger (preferably from the Ultimate Spiderman series)? Thanks! Edited December 1, 2014 by Zorglorfian Quote
JaseTJ Posted December 1, 2014 Posted December 1, 2014 Bruce: Episode 3/Clone Wars Anakin's hair in black, Superman face, Killian's torso (the guy in the IM3 boat set), and dark tan legs White Tiger: Aura Sing's hair, some face from a Snowtrooper or something (it's a white head with black eye holes and maybe some other details), and a relatively basic white torso and legs. I've never actually made her, so I'm not sure what torso would work best, or where the head is from. Quote
autorazr Posted December 1, 2014 Posted December 1, 2014 Anyone have a parts list for Bruce Banner and / or White Tiger (preferably from the Ultimate Spiderman series)? Thanks! Just one page back I posted a white tiger. It doesnt use Aura Sings hair because I prefer black as its closer to the source. Quote
JaseTJ Posted December 1, 2014 Posted December 1, 2014 I actually didn't realize it wasn't black. In that case, maybe the new Orc piece...? It'd probably look weird, but... Quote
autorazr Posted December 4, 2014 Posted December 4, 2014 I actually didn't realize it wasn't black. In that case, maybe the new Orc piece...? It'd probably look weird, but... whoa, I need that orc hair, for so many things. Quote
Numbuh1Nerd Posted December 6, 2014 Posted December 6, 2014 whoa, I need that orc hair, for so many things. Really? I can't think of a single use for it. Those ears just ruin it. Quote
K-Nut Posted December 6, 2014 Posted December 6, 2014 (edited) I think they're talking about the one from the 2014 Wave. If anyone hasn't noticed this for themselves, the Series 13 Goblin headgear is about as close as we'll get to get to a classic Green Goblin option. Edited December 6, 2014 by K-Nut Quote
JaseTJ Posted December 6, 2014 Posted December 6, 2014 Yes. It's only in the Laketown set, though, not the final battle, fyi. And the goblin hat was brought up quite a while ago in the Marvel 2015 rumors thread. We sure hope it'll be used for him! Quote
dsedohr68 Posted December 6, 2014 Posted December 6, 2014 I like the purist idea of lego mini figure customization. I recently bought the Target Exclusive 4 mini figure set to get the Lego Superboy. I changed the arms to long black sleeves and changes the pants to be solid black so that it looks like the Superboy mini figure from Lego Batman 2 Video game. What do you think of the idea? I can take a pic and post if someone wants to see the actual mini figure! I just don't my camera with me. Quote
Numbuh1Nerd Posted December 6, 2014 Posted December 6, 2014 I think they're talking about the one from the 2014 Wave. Oh, yeah, okay! I need that!! Quote
JaseTJ Posted December 7, 2014 Posted December 7, 2014 So I was messing around with this armor... I put it on an old Geonosian torso and was looking for my dark grey Chitauri for his legs... but while I was rummaging through my Super-Hero 'figs, I noticed that the Bats 'fig from the Bane's Tumbler set had a nicely matching torso. Thus, behold: Armored Batman! (Sorry if you can't tell, but the bronze is the same on the shoulders and belt) I chose the Aqua-Bats face mostly for the eyes, but the mouthpiece could easily enough just be a gas-mask-esque thing. And some layered cape, which is one of my favorite things to do :3 Quote
Bubul Posted December 8, 2014 Posted December 8, 2014 (edited) Do you thinking about some custom chromed headgears,or weapons like this? You can find unique interesting custom chromed items at: Edited December 8, 2014 by Pandora Link removed Quote
adotnamedstud Posted December 12, 2014 Posted December 12, 2014 Time to revive the thread with some DC (and a Marvel) figures! Black Panther (Could use Batman's cape but I like the non-caped variation to differentiate from Batman.) The Atom! (I wish there were Red legs with blue boot printing. Other than that I think this is a good figure.) Ozymandias from Watchmen! (I have a lot of problems with this one. I need a purple cape and a purple masked face without an awkward smile. Probably some better hair too.) Nite Owl II from Watchmen! (Easily my favorite figure! I had an earlier one like this but without that head but after seeing someone on Flickr use this head it seems a bit more fitting.) All the Watchmen figures I made are more so based off the movie. I think NOII would work either way but you'd need a better torso and leg combo for Ozymandias. (I think the Pharaoh's Quest Anubis's torsos will work well for him.) Quote
Robianco Posted December 12, 2014 Posted December 12, 2014 Can anyone recommend a good head to use for a Hobgoblin custom? I like the Onlinesailin custom but I've mad a pretty decent figure from Aquaman's torso and appropriate arm and leg colours so paying $30 or so for the figure doesn't appeal. I'm actually thinking the recent Emperor from the Sith book might be the best option. Any help welcome! Quote
LuxorV Posted December 12, 2014 Posted December 12, 2014 I'd suggest: Minifig, Head Alien with Red Eyes and Lower Fangs Pattern Minifig, Head Alien with Frankenstein Monster, White Pupils and Wrinkles Pattern Minifig, Head PotC Davy Jones Silver Eyes and Furrowed Brow Pattern or Minifig, Head PotC Davy Jones Silver Eyes and Furrowed Brow Pattern - Stud Recessed Quote
Robianco Posted December 12, 2014 Posted December 12, 2014 Thanks Luxor! Those Davy Jones heads look perfect! Quote
JaseTJ Posted December 12, 2014 Posted December 12, 2014 Dang! I really want to make that Black Panther and Atom, now, especially after the mid-season finale of Arrow. Too bad I'm lacking most of the pieces... Seriously cool 'figs though. I've not seen/read/researched Watchmen, so I can't really offer an opinion on them, but the second one has some nice browns mixed there. Quote
