Numbuh1Nerd Posted March 5, 2015 Posted March 5, 2015 (edited) So I tried to scratch up a Red Arrow, but it's not that great. I won't upload any pictures until I can do something to improve him, but I'll give you guys a parts list in case anybody gets any ideas from it. Hat Head Torso The left arm and hand are pearl gold, while the other arm is flesh with a dark red hand. I mostly did that because I didn't have another flesh arm available, but luckily Roy's got a history of losing limbs. The legs are solid red. I'd really like to find a better torso and head, mostly. EDIT: I'm aiming for more of a New 52 design, since it's a lot brighter and has more variety parts-wise when standing next to all the other superhero figs. (That Arrow version of Roy is still the bomb.) Edited March 5, 2015 by Numbuh1Nerd Quote

Amset-Rah Posted March 6, 2015 Posted March 6, 2015 While we're in an X-Men mood, here's my newest figure, good ol' Professor X I know there are different designs for his hover chair, but I wanted to do one on my own. I almost copied the Lego Marvel game design, but again, I wanted to try and be original. Quote
Krikkit Posted March 6, 2015 Posted March 6, 2015 (edited) Cool! What head has those eye brows? Edited March 6, 2015 by Krikkit Quote
Amset-Rah Posted March 6, 2015 Posted March 6, 2015 Cool! What head has those eye brows? It's Gandalf from the Gandalf Arrives set. I figured it'd be better than the standard Lex Luthor/Loki/Bruce Wayne head some other Prof. Xs out there have. Quote
Numbuh1Nerd Posted March 6, 2015 Posted March 6, 2015 Ooo, are we having an X-Men party?! :D I've got Toad, and I brought an Avenger (hope that's okay), Reptil! Quote
Amset-Rah Posted March 6, 2015 Posted March 6, 2015 I'm loving that Toad. Not what I'm used to but hey, nice parts usage with that troll head. Quote

meschepers Posted March 6, 2015 Posted March 6, 2015 Okay, finally got some stuff in and here is my next round of figs: On the left is Bruce Wayne as "Bat Lantern" from In Darkest Knight. This is an alternate universe in which the Green Lantern ring chose Bruce Wayne. On the right is my take on Kyle Rayner as Green Lantern. On the left is my take on the Red Arrow and the right is my take on the Green Arrow. Both heavily influenced by the TV show Arrow. While maybe not as famous as being comic book characters, but rather TV or movie heroes, they do have a line of comic books... here's The Green Hornet and Kato. And, lastly, simply because the new sheriff in the CMF series had the perfect hat, here's Rick Grimes from The Walking Dead. Let me know what you think. Quote
ReZourceman Posted March 7, 2015 Posted March 7, 2015 Loving the recent stuff guys. I have finally re-done my podium and tidied my room so I've done some small bits recently. Numbuh1Nerd Posted March 8, 2015 Posted March 8, 2015 I could use some more green DC heroes in my collection, so does anyone have any suggestions for green characters? I'm avoiding Green Lanterns, since those would mostly require me to have a second Green Lantern minifig, and I've only got the one Hal. Quote

Off the top off my head before I go to sleep, I think mister terrific has a some green for his torso. I don't think there's too many heroes that have green costumes besides green lanterns. Mera has a green costume if I remember correctly as well. In a picture I saw on dc wikia, Risk had a green costume, though maybe its the lighting. Lagoon Boy. Molecule's lower half is green. Fire, also has a green costume. Thats all I can remember atm. Hope this helps a bit. Quote
Krikkit Posted March 8, 2015 Posted March 8, 2015 Cheshire, green arrow, martian manhunter. Miss martian. Quote
Numbuh1Nerd Posted March 8, 2015 Posted March 8, 2015 Thanks for all the suggestions, you guys! I've run into some problems with some, though. -Mister Terrific would need a red cowl of some sort. -Mera and Fire are tough to find torsos for, since the number of female torsos are so limited, especially green ones. (I'd really like to make Fire, though) -I could probably get by with Molecule using a Robin head, but the torso is really tricky. -I'm working on a Cheshire minifig, but I'm waiting on some parts -Miss M's head is nearly impossible. It really ought to be the same color as Martian Manhunter's, but the only female head of that color is the CMF Witch. I did try out Risk, though, and I think he looks alright! I borrowed the legs from Hal for a bit, but I'll probably just replace them with black ones or green ones in a little bit. Seriously, thanks for the help! Quote

Yeah I know they are all pretty difficult, I was just naming characters I could think of, not really even considering how you would make them , but I'm glad you were able to at least get one :D. Risk looks pretty great to me! Quote

MattZitron Posted March 10, 2015 Posted March 10, 2015 Hey gang So I've done another couple of Iron Man Armours. They are completely made up but think you'll like them. First up is my version of a Prototype Spider-Armour. In my eyes Tony Stark made this before doing Spidey's. Next up is my Red Menace Armour. This is what Tony takes to the Negative Zone to fight Annihillus with the Fantastic Four. More pictures on my Flickr. Quote
Numbuh1Nerd Posted March 11, 2015 Posted March 11, 2015 Nice Cheshire! Is that hair from the CMF Goth Girl? That's like the only one of those figures I can't find, and I'd love that head for Raven. Quote

Marvel_Geek Posted March 13, 2015 Posted March 13, 2015 Hey guys I'm a new member and I'm a fan of marvel comics and legos. I repose minifigure parts to make my own figures. I also can't wait for the marvel summer sets. I'm planing on getting two of the antman set and using the combo of parts of antman suits to makethe three different antmans from the comics, also using the extra yellowjacket body to make a wasp figure. Then ill buy two of the carnage sets and use the extra spiderman to make a superior spiderman figure, then use the extra shield agent body to either make a classic nick fury or dum dum dugan Quote
