Numbuh1Nerd Posted March 29, 2015 Posted March 29, 2015 (edited) I think that Infearno's Torso and Legs could work. I'm not sure what to do for the head, though. Those would be spot on! This one might run a little too obscure, but if you take Invizable's head from Ninjago, put it on an open-jacket Star Lord torso, removed the hands and used some black or dark blue legs, you could make a spot on Imperceptible Man. EDIT: turns out that Invizable is an Ultra Agents villain. He just showed up in an episode of Ninjago for some reason. Edited March 29, 2015 by Numbuh1Nerd Quote

Numbuh1Nerd Posted March 29, 2015 Posted March 29, 2015 Anyone have ideas for how I could make manchester black from the current new fifty two teen titans run? This design? The pink hair and beard are the biggest pitfalls. I'd do a bare chest torso with a navy blue trenchcoat cut from a cape, matching arms, and black legs preferably with a belt print on the hips. That's just what I would do, though. Quote
MAB Posted March 30, 2015 Posted March 30, 2015 Thanks that looks really good. Another request: I'm currently recreating the Age of Ultron trailer with DC figs instead so I need to build a prototype/damaged Braniac, like the damaged Ultron seen in the trailers. Any damaged robot torsos available? I was thinking of mainly using the ultron fig but wanted to make it look a bit distinctive. Battle damaged Vader? Quote

Numbuh1Nerd Posted April 1, 2015 Posted April 1, 2015 I just watched the latest episode of the Flash, Tricksters, which is unbelievably fun! No spoilers here, but if you haven't heard, it features Mark Hamill reprising his role as the Trickster (the James Jesse variety) from JLU and the 90s Flash, as well as the live-action debut of Axel Walker's Trickster. I mention all of this because I thought it'd be fun to see some varying Tricksters (especially today of all days, I love DisneyTM! Day), quite possibly rooted in the TV show if you feel like it! Silent Nomad Posted April 2, 2015 Posted April 2, 2015 (edited) I just rewatched Captain America 2, and I have an idea of how to make a civilian clothes Steve Rogers, based on scenes like these: I don't have any of the pieces, myself, so I'll just post pictures of each piece and leave it to someone else to put it together, and imaginations in the mean time. I hope you enjoy. Captain America's hair and head from the Helicarrier set: One of Harry Potter's torsos: Regular tan legs: And his shield, for when he needs to fight in the street: -Nomad Edited May 3, 2015 by Silent Nomad Quote
Numbuh1Nerd Posted April 2, 2015 Posted April 2, 2015 Great one, Nomad! I'll definitely wind up using that combo if I can get the head and hair for Cap. Quote

Silent Nomad Posted April 3, 2015 Posted April 3, 2015 (edited) I think your torso idea works significantly better than mine, Lego Nolan. The breast pockets on the jacket are the same shape, and the collar of the shirt is the same color as the rest of it. I think I'll use that torso instead of the HP one that I thought of. The only problem I can see is that there are two more pockets (the lower two) than there needs to be, but those can be removed if need be. -Nomad Edited April 3, 2015 by Silent Nomad Quote

Numbuh1Nerd Posted April 3, 2015 Posted April 3, 2015 That Jay Garrick is unbelievable! I just have to make it! Quote
Silent Nomad Posted April 4, 2015 Posted April 4, 2015 Does anyone know of a tan hip piece with a preferably brown belt? I recently realized that Steve, in the pictures I posted, wears a belt that looks like it's brown. It's more visible in the second pic, with the shield. Quote
K-Nut Posted April 4, 2015 Posted April 4, 2015 That is an awesome Jay Garrick! Does anyone know of a tan hip piece with a preferably brown belt? The closest you'll probably get is this: Though there are some Dark Tan ones like Indiana Jones has, if you're up for that. Quote
Silent Nomad Posted April 4, 2015 Posted April 4, 2015 Thanks for the suggestion, but I think I'll just go with the plain ones. The belt on the one in the image is only about half there, and Indy's legs wouldn't work because the tail of the belt goes down to the leg, and the gun belt is continued on the crotch, so if I swapped out unprinted legs it'd look weird, besides being the wrong color. Thanks for trying, though. -Nomad Quote

Silent Nomad Posted April 4, 2015 Posted April 4, 2015 There's a pair from the Lone Ranger theme that might work. Thanks for the suggestion, but I think the images I'm using as references (further up on this page) call for a lighter tan than that. Quote

Numbuh1Nerd Posted April 5, 2015 Posted April 5, 2015 I just finished reading the teen titans annual #1 that just came out a couple days ago, and I was just thinking how would I make mal duncan guardian. I've been wanting to make Guardian for awhile, too. Such a rad design. The hard part's the head/helmet, and the best I had at any point was using Iron Fist's head to make Jim Harper's Guardian instead, but that wouldn't quite look right, either. Any ideas you come up with, feel free to share 'em. Quote
