LibraryBoy Posted May 7, 2015 Posted May 7, 2015 I dig the staffs, but I'd try different hair for Jack, and maybe try to incorporate the goggles in there somehow. Great work, though! You could use the spiked hair (I think it came out in black recently, but if not it will soon, for TT Robin in the Jokerland set), or you could use the hairpiece used for Tony Stark, Hal Jordan, and Green Arrow. I tried the Tony Stark hair, but since I'm using a Tony Stark head, it just looked like Tony Stark. Jack's hair could get kinda pompadour-ish at times, though, so I kinda like it. Can't make any of the existing goggle pieces fit around it, though. I've seen some ones from BrickForge that might work out, though. Quote
Numbuh1Nerd Posted May 7, 2015 Posted May 7, 2015 On a related note, what do you all think of the idea of Green Arrow's hair on Aquaman? I had the hairpiece left over after I turned Green Arrow into The Arrow, and I don't really like Aquaman's current surfer/skater hair. It's got a more classic look that way, but I think it looks a little thin that way. Maybe adding some armor or something would give him some extra flair? Quote
siggibricker Posted May 7, 2015 Posted May 7, 2015 Stargirl isn't purist (so, you know, ignore that part of the pic), but I figured if the gray market folks were going to make her, then she needed a Jack Knight version of Starman to go with her, and he is 100% purist: Both of their cosmic staffs (staves?) are purist creations, too. Not 100% satisfied with those, but they were the closest I could come to the hooked ends of 'em with the pieces I had available. The riddlers golden crowbar is a little short but it has a more hooked end for the staff Quote

Numbuh1Nerd Posted May 8, 2015 Posted May 8, 2015 I don't have any sets that have that head, in what sets would I find them. One's a collectable minifig, there's another in one of the Monster Fighters sets, and I think one coming in the Scooby-Doo theme. Quote

Numbuh1Nerd Posted May 10, 2015 Posted May 10, 2015 Here's my crack at Starman. It's far from perfect, but I figured the idea was different enough to share. Ooo, hey! Anybody have any ideas for completing the Star-folk with a Ted Knight Starman? Maybe even a Thom Kallor Starman, so long as it isn't just solid black? Quote

LegoPercyJ Posted May 10, 2015 Posted May 10, 2015 Wow that is a great mysterio! Thanks! I had to order a few parts, but it was worth it! My Purist Tony Stark (Suit) My Bruce Wayne My Matt Murdock/ Scott Summers/ Hawkeye Civilian My Loki (Disguise from Avengers) My Obadiah Stane/ Kingpin/ Professer X/ Agent Sitwell/ Lex Luthor + 100 more This suit and head really is good for everything! Legocity2713 Posted May 11, 2015 Posted May 11, 2015 LOL!!! Great work. That suit does have many purposes. (Cool Loki, truly a great idea with him.) Quote
Silent Nomad Posted May 11, 2015 Posted May 11, 2015 (edited) I don't get how what Loki's holding is his staff. How'd you arrive at that design for the Mind Gem staff, which is what I'm assuming you're trying to replicate with that. Besides that, though, very cool. Edited May 11, 2015 by Silent Nomad Quote
Numbuh1Nerd Posted May 11, 2015 Posted May 11, 2015 Anybody have any ideas that use parts from the Fencer minifig from the latest batch of CMFs? I've got 3 of that guy already and I've gotta find some use for him. Quote

salchemist Posted May 12, 2015 Posted May 12, 2015 (edited) I posted some figs before, but I've added several dozen new ones, and most have been changed/updated/etc. http://i.imgur.com/redN1va.jpg Edit: I just noticed Hugo Strange is listed twice. Which makes me wonder if someone is missing that I forgot to photograph. Edited May 12, 2015 by salchemist Quote
