Zergos Posted May 15, 2015 Posted May 15, 2015 (edited) Hey all, just watched Legends of Tomorrow trailer, and want to make white canary and rip hunter from the show, any ideas? Edited May 15, 2015 by Zergos Quote
Numbuh1Nerd Posted May 15, 2015 Posted May 15, 2015 Hey don't worry man, lets go through it one more time. First, follow this link: https://service.lego...arts/#BasicInfo Second: enter your age and country then click next Third: Click where it says, I want to buy a piece Fourth: Click the box to the right that says "Bricks and Pieces Selection." Underneath the box it says, "Here you'll find DUPLO Parts and some unusual LEGO pieces. Fifth: Enter the set number in the space underneath where it says, "see all the bricks in a set. (The set number for the titanium dragon with titanium ninja zane is 70748) The head was there last I checked Hope this helps, if not, let me know. Okay, I figured out my problem! Turns out that if you're under the age of 21 (or maybe 18) you don't get that option. The struggles of being 16 on the Internet. Oh, and the heads out of stock -_- Thanks for the help, though, you guys! Quote
Numbuh1Nerd Posted May 15, 2015 Posted May 15, 2015 Hey all, just watched Legends of Tomorrow trailer, and want to make white canary and rip hunter from the show, any ideas? The torso on White Canary's going to be tough, since nothing I've found is solid white enough, has the right feeling, or the female designation, all of which are pretty important in that design. I'd suggest blonde mermaid hair for her, though. As for Rip, I'd try any of these three torsos (1 2 3) and either of these two for the head (1 2). Bearded heads tend to look older, so you're going to want to be very careful not to make him look like he's in his 40s. I'd try either this or this for hair, in Medium Dark Flesh. Try you're best to find legs that match the trenchcoat pattern. Hope this helps! Quote

Also, put in your parents' age if you are ever using the site in the future because they are helping you make the purchase using their credit cards and what not. Even Lego gives the tip saying something along the lines of, "if you are an adult helping a child, please enter your own age." Edited May 15, 2015 by Legocity2713 Quote
Zergos Posted May 15, 2015 Posted May 15, 2015 (edited) Hey all, I need your opinions on which hairstyle for rip hunter between the 3 I have posted on flickr. Is one of them, scroll through them all and lemme know which you think looks the best. Edited May 15, 2015 by Zergos Quote
K-Nut Posted May 15, 2015 Posted May 15, 2015 I'd do Emmett. I'd change up the torso/head a bit too, though, since it looks like Aragorn with a New Haircut. For White Canary, I'm using the Jedi Consular Torso/Legs from 2013. Quote

JaseTJ Posted May 15, 2015 Posted May 15, 2015 So the lighting's crappy, but I snapped a shot of my new Dormammu with Doctor Strange. I picked up the CMF wizard and decided to put the cape to use. (The top part of the Wizard's cape is on the back of Dormammu's, for a bit of extra flame--it just felt too big for Dormammu.) Quote
K-Nut Posted May 15, 2015 Posted May 15, 2015 I do like that Dormammu. Not so convinced on Doctor Strange's torso, but otherwise he looks good. Quote

Very good work and great job portraying Dormammu's whole demonic feel. The skull for the head and armor makes it seem very believable and accurate. Quote
JaseTJ Posted May 16, 2015 Posted May 16, 2015 Not so convinced on Doctor Strange's torso, but otherwise he looks good. Yeah, I really dunno what else to give him. He has the arms off the CMF sea captain dude (with the seagull) to try to make up for it. Hopefully we don't have to worry about customing him much longer, anyways. Quote

I've seen a lot of people give him this torso, but I think he'd look great with this one. This one is a good substitute, too. My AIM Agent: I've been doing that for a while. It's actually a really convenient minifig. Quote

I actually had my Strange arms on that first torso just previous to reassembling Strange. It looks good on him--gives him some color and the weird middle part is covered by the medallion. Quote
Marvel_Geek Posted May 17, 2015 Posted May 17, 2015 My modified Collector, I used some of the ideas that someone posted a page or two back. https://m.flickr.com/#/photos/132183161@N08/17590682300/ Quote
Hulk_Smash Posted May 18, 2015 Posted May 18, 2015 nice AIM soldier, I'm going to try and get a few of those so I can have an army of them. And after scouring this tread for inspiration here is my take on Stilt-Man Quote
Zergos Posted May 19, 2015 Posted May 19, 2015 I'm planning on making Deimos from the current convergence run next, and I'm thinking of using the fire torso from chima, or the red/gold ironman chest. Which hair/head would work most? I was thinking of tony's head, but I'm not 100% sure if that would work. Also, are there any black legs with skulls on them? I don't think there are, but just incase I'm wrong, I thought I would ask. Quote

There aren't any black legs with skull knee pads like that, but you might try these, these, and these. Hope this helps! Quote
