Sanoreti Posted June 2, 2015 Posted June 2, 2015 Welp, here is my attempt at mcu daredevil, although im still trying to find a good mask, and the silver in the torso is a bit to bright http://imgur.com/BdtL0ZH also, my green goblin http://imgur.com/FmbcbRd Quote
Zergos Posted June 3, 2015 Posted June 3, 2015 I decided to take a picture of all my dc super villains so lemme know what you think. They are all TLG or purist. Except for Shades hat, but thats filler till i get an actual top hat. Quote
Silent Nomad Posted June 4, 2015 Posted June 4, 2015 (edited) With the reveal of the Big Bang Theory Ideas set, I'm thinking about recreating the GL lantern they show so that my Hal Jordan and Sinestro can have actual minifigure scaled lanterns, instead of the monstrosities they (I made a yellow one based on the design of the green one from the GL set) currently have, that go up to their chests. The tap piece currently exists in yellow, but doesn't exist yet in green, so I could make Sinestro a smaller lantern right now, but I'd have to wait for the set before I can make one for Hal. TheBigRedCheese Posted June 4, 2015 Posted June 4, 2015 (edited) SUPER POST PART # 1! I have a lot of super hero minifigures that I've never posted here but did post on Flickr, so here goes. Since there are so many big files to upload, I don't how many posts it's going to take to finish all of the images that I've chosen to share. Fair warning: Not all of these are purist. Some of them are photographed together and whatnot. I know that I should stick to 100% purism, especially in this thread, but there are some figs that I can not rephotograph because of technical difficulties and whatnot. Also, I included some non-purist figures, just to get some inspiration flowing. I will note which ones are not 100% purist though, so at least you have some solace. Anywho, enjoy! Also, in terms of nonpurism, purists, get some inspiration and make a purist version that's ten times as awesome! Getting all of the evil non-purist stuff out of the way first ... Guy's ring and pants are painted. This was before we had GL, so pretend the ring doesn't exist and he has the GL pants. Ignore Steve's gear. Aresia is somewhat modded, but I posted her so mostly so that others could get inspiration. Eiling's gear is all third party, and Loki's stuff is, regrettably, a deity forsaken Megablok. I know, I know, I've heard all the comments. I'm so, so, sorry. Ignore Guy's ring. 100% purist! :) 100% purist! :) That's all for part 1 folks! :) Edited June 4, 2015 by TheBigRedCheese Quote
Im a brickmaster. Posted June 4, 2015 Posted June 4, 2015 Mac Gargen Venom and 90's/Todd McFarlane style Spidey! I changed Venom because he really shouldn't have the tendrils, it's more Carnages thing. Quote
Captain Nemo Posted June 6, 2015 Posted June 6, 2015 Continuing with my Brickworld X-Men, I've created a semi-purist Nightcrawler: The tail custom, and is made by BrickWarriors in rare Lego blue--for some reason they never seem to produce it in that color, but a few months back I stumbled upon the only blue tail they had in stock and snagged it up real fast! Goooo Nemo! Quote
Legocity2713 Posted June 6, 2015 Posted June 6, 2015 Wow. You never fail to impress Juliusno Captain Nemo. Very good work. Quote
Umbra-Manis Posted June 6, 2015 Posted June 6, 2015 That's a great nightcrawler! Now if only Lego would release the minidoll hair that looks like this in blue. Quote
Numbuh1Nerd Posted June 6, 2015 Posted June 6, 2015 That's so rad! God, now I'm just praying that Marvel isn't so harsh on their "no X-Men" rule next year when Apocalypse comes out, because I'd kill for a Nightcrawler that good and I can't find the Milano anywhere where I can afford it! Quote
Legocity2713 Posted June 6, 2015 Posted June 6, 2015 (edited) I made a more metallic War Machine like from AoU. I thought black was a little too much so I used the gun metal grey color that the Ultron sentries used. I started out with Lego's War Machine, changed the arms to those of the Ultron Sentry's. I kept War machine's hips but I changed out the legs to those of the sentry's as well. Looks pretty good. The gun metal color is not overpowering as the black. I'm pretty sure War Machine's armor is only black on the toys. All of the HQ figures and such have him in a dark gray. I'm sure the gunmetal looks great, though! Quote
Cheatster9000x Posted June 7, 2015 Posted June 7, 2015 Hey Hulk_Smash, I've been playing around with Superior Spider-Man's arms in LDD, and I think I've come up with a cleaner and better looking alternative to yours: http://i.imgur.com/BIWfhA9.png http://i.imgur.com/Pz96Y3S.png Quote
Legocity2713 Posted June 8, 2015 Posted June 8, 2015 Not my picture, just thought I'd spread the word. Pretty cool Scarlet Witch purist. (and yes, I know that we already have an official one of her) Quote
Marvel_Geek Posted June 8, 2015 Posted June 8, 2015 Here are my ant-man figures: https://m.flickr.com/photos/132183161@N08/18599058205/ https://m.flickr.com/photos/132183161@N08/18599098955/ https://m.flickr.com/photos/132183161@N08/18412987519/ https://m.flickr.com/photos/132183161@N08/18594681152/ https://m.flickr.com/photos/132183161@N08/18411475418/ https://m.flickr.com/photos/132183161@N08/18413102689/ Any questions feel free to ask. :-) Quote
Numbuh1Nerd Posted June 8, 2015 Posted June 8, 2015 Great figures, Marvel_Geek! (I'm at school, so everyone else's aren't showing up ) I don't think the skirt works so well on Wasp, especially with the dull-colored Yellowjacket torso. Quote

Ya when thinking about what figures I could make that looked good in my head, but it looks a lot better than my first wasp purist which was some scraped parts I put together. Quote

Darth_Brick360 Posted June 9, 2015 Posted June 9, 2015 Could anyone suggest a head for making vulture? Thanks. Quote
Numbuh1Nerd Posted June 10, 2015 Posted June 10, 2015 Does anybody have any ideas for a torso for THIS version of Jason Todd's Red Hood? Everything else seems pretty cut and dry, but that torso..! Quote
Krikkit Posted June 10, 2015 Posted June 10, 2015 Old I used one of the faces from a star wars general, but i also guess something like sauroman from lotr could work. Quote

Captain Nemo Posted June 10, 2015 Posted June 10, 2015 For my Brickworld Layout, Days of Bricks Past, I've made future versions of Rogue and Kitty Pryde: Quote
Legocity2713 Posted June 10, 2015 Posted June 10, 2015 Pretty cool Tim. That Rouge is very well done and the use of the TMNT Foot Soldier torsos with technological camp adds a great futuristic type of feeling. Quote
