Numbuh1Nerd Posted June 18, 2015 Posted June 18, 2015 A few of the new Monster CMF series 14 figures were leaked and shown over on thebrickfan. One of them is a guy in a skeleton costume. Would the head work for Crossbones from Marvel? That cute little dopey face? Nah. I'd just go with a regular skull if I were you. Maybe the Taskmaster head. Quote
Legocity2713 Posted June 18, 2015 Posted June 18, 2015 Yeah that would be good. But I think I might wait for some Civil War sets next year. Quote
Skier1215 Posted June 18, 2015 Posted June 18, 2015 Hey, I just got the Avengers Hydra Showdown set, and I wondered what I could use the Hydra Agent's parts for, since he stands out from all my other Hydra Agents. I really don't want to buy it again just to get another one. Quote
Zilcho Posted June 18, 2015 Posted June 18, 2015 What hair piece would be best for Barbara Gordon? I've looked and I don't think the hair used for Batgirl matches with any other colour. Quote

K-Nut Posted June 19, 2015 Posted June 19, 2015 I second that request! His head is so rad, but I just can't find anyone to use it on! I'm away from my bricks right now, but I swear I found uses for both of mine. I just can't remember how. Quote
N_Cat Posted June 19, 2015 Posted June 19, 2015 Hi, everybody, I'm new here, but I've followed this thread with great interest for nearly a year now. Because there's been a lack of actual creations posted here for the past couple of weeks, I figure I'd try to get the ball rolling again, with my MCU Sam Wilson figure, based on his costume in AoU/Civil War. He uses: Power Man head (http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=3626cpb1108) Falcon wings (http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=93250) Nightwing torso (http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=973pb1645) Reddish Brown arms Black hands Captain Fox SW guns (http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=61190f) Electro legs (http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=970c11pb23) I tried a number of hair pieces with him, but none of them worked for me, so I left it off. The slicked back piece (i.e. the one both Lego Falcons have come with) has a widow's peak, which Anthony Mackie does not, and all the others seemed too large. If anyone has a suggestion, I'll try it out. Quote
Zergos Posted June 19, 2015 Posted June 19, 2015 A quick couple questions Do the helmets from hero factory count as purist? Also, can they actually fit on a minifigs head? Quote
8BrickMario Posted June 19, 2015 Posted June 19, 2015 They do count, since they fit on minifig heads. (I assume you're talking about the minifigures from the recent waves. They use regular heads.) Only the eyes can really be seen through the helmets, though, since the eye and mouth holes are so small. Quote

Kinda a bummer only the eyes can be seen, but it's the best bet for the character I'm gonna use it for. Edited June 19, 2015 by Zergos Quote

Numbuh1Nerd Posted June 20, 2015 Posted June 20, 2015 I was just wondering where you'd been, autorazr! Great job on Knight & Squire! I've been trying to get those guys to work for ages, but I think you finally did it! And that Colossus is instantly recognizable! All around, great stuff. Really good Falcon, N_Cat. The torso choice is spot on, but the legs don't quite transition well. I'd try something in black that keeps the kneepads. Quote
8BrickMario Posted June 20, 2015 Posted June 20, 2015 (edited) IM BAAAAAAACK *image* The Fantastic Four These are all great customs (Titanium Zane is perfect for Colossus, and I love Knight and Squire), but I don't remember those guys ever being referred to as the Fantastic 4... Skier1215 Posted June 20, 2015 Posted June 20, 2015 (edited) So after watching this site like a hawk for over a year now, I have a lot of inspired characters. So here are some of the heroes. The Hulk and Bruce Banner Namor Agent Venom MCU Falcon Black Widow Luke Cage Ant-Man Black Panther Next time I'll show off some of my X-Men customs. Edited June 20, 2015 by Skier1215 Quote
TheBigRedCheese Posted June 20, 2015 Posted June 20, 2015 Yes, that's what I was referring to; they both use the same hair, do they not? Yes, they do both use the same hair, but I was a bit confused when you said both Falcons. Thanks for the clarification! :) but I don't remember those guys ever being referred to as the Fantastic 4... http://marvel.wikia.com/New_Fantastic_Four_(Earth-616) Also, Sleepwalker was once a member instead of Wolverine. As far as I know, what with retconning and everything, this group is now defunct. Either way, they look pretty cool. :) Quote
Im a brickmaster. Posted June 20, 2015 Posted June 20, 2015 (edited) Welcome back Razr!! That Colossus is perfect and the ant man torso for Nightcrawler is genius! Edited June 20, 2015 by Im a brickmaster. Quote
N_Cat Posted June 20, 2015 Posted June 20, 2015 Skier1215, I like your Bruce Baner and Luke Cage in particular. I like Namor's head, it's one of the LOTR elf faces, right? Your Falcon is also good- the wing construction is nice. However, I've always disliked the basketball player heads. Do you have other heads for black characters, or are those your only ones? Nice job all around regardless! Quote

Krikkit Posted June 20, 2015 Posted June 20, 2015 Get iron patriot, i use his head, especially since iron patriot to me is norman osborn. Quote
Marvel_Geek Posted June 21, 2015 Posted June 21, 2015 Get iron patriot, i use his head, especially since iron patriot to me is norman osborn. I'm glad I am not the only one that feels that way. I love that story line in the comics. Has anyone made Ghost Rider movie figures? I want to attempt to make Black Heart, Johnny Blaze, and Roxanne, and I was wondering if anyone has made them. Quote
Legocity2713 Posted June 21, 2015 Posted June 21, 2015 That monster, the lighthouse keeper, from the new Scooby Doo lighthouse set would actually make a pretty good Blastaar. Quote
Im a brickmaster. Posted June 21, 2015 Posted June 21, 2015 Remaining on the topic of Iron Patriot, take the helmet and legs from the official fig and put them on the Cap'n M'erica avengers 1 torso with Pre Vizla's head and boom! Dark Reign Osborn/Patriot. Quote

Dark Reign Osborn/Patriot. I actually think it would be better just to keep the full iron patriot and put Norman's head on it. If anyone does not have the patriot fig though, your idea is good, just use the 1st Captain America torso, CMF Galaxy Patrol figure legs, and Norman Osborn's head. (For Osborn I use Loki's head and Aldrich Killian's hair) Quote
