Posted November 12, 200618 yr Lady Washington aka USS Enterprise(from Star Trek Generations) Real Version Lego Version so far This is the progress on her so far and i should have it completed soon as i fill in all the insides of the ship.
November 12, 200618 yr Eurobricks Emperor Looking very good Lord Admiral. The front of the ship would require some modification I think. Also the black in the mid sections should maybe go a bit up and around the entire ship. E.g.: -----______----- Or maybe not :-). You probably simulated this already to see the results. Do you plan to build this beauty in the future?
November 12, 200618 yr Governor I don't get the Star Trek reference! Someone explain (with picture preferably) what the Lady Washington was in Star Trek.
November 12, 200618 yr In the beggining of Star Trek Generations the senior officers of the USS Enterprise-D (the futuristic ship) are entertaining themselves in the holodeck (a room in which interactive holographic images are projected) with a program in which they are portraying the crew of the original USS Enterprise (the historical sailing ship). Lady Washington is simply the real name of the ship filmed in the movie portraying the USS Enterprise, as the real original USS Enterprise no longer exsists. This ship has also been filmed as The Interceptor in POTC. Nice one Admiral espically for me, a Lego pirate and Star Trek fan. I agree with what Lord Bonaparte said and I am looking forward to seeing the designs of further progression.
November 13, 200618 yr Governor Ah yes Mr Oo7, I think I know what the reference is now - I did see that movie... Ummm... Ummm... Many moons ago... Enough moons to forget what happened in it... As for Admiral Starwind's MLcad design... The black bricks around the stern are built too high, he should remove the top layer and replace them with yellow plates (or SNOTs) because I think that make it look more like the actual Lady Washington. I have more feedback, however I shall wait for Admiral Starwind to respond on what I've written first.
November 13, 200618 yr Author Nope not removing the top layer and the reason for that is that i haven't put the last layer of plates on the top for the yellow trim. just haven't got around to it.
November 13, 200618 yr Looking very good, but I am never partial to attaching masts to the front of a lower mast (not that I have a better solution X-D ). God Bless, Nathan
November 13, 200618 yr Governor Nope not removing the top layer and the reason for that is that i haven't put the last layer of plates on the top for the yellow trim. just haven't got around to it. But leaving the top layer would make it too high, wouldn't it? I'm just going by the picture, but I suppose it depends how closely you want to match that.
November 18, 200618 yr Neat ship Admiral Starwind! I esp. like the top mast design of the two small masts. I also find the curve in the front of the ship interesting, I don't think many have don this? So, two questions 1. Are you using the wide or skinny hulls, I cannot tell. 2. Who are you going to make this beutiful ship to? The Imperial Soldiers...or the Imperial Guards...or merchants?
November 18, 200618 yr Eurobricks Emperor Ah yes Mr Oo7, I think I know what the reference is now - I did see that movie... Ummm... Ummm... Many moons ago... Enough moons to forget what happened in it... Shame on you Mr. Phes. Forgetting such a good Star Trek movie (loved the scene were the Enterprise crashed on a planet). I didn't realise immediatly that this was the ship from that movie. Also the Star Trek crew had great uniforms during the scenes on the ship.
November 18, 200618 yr good sip man...li'd like seeing lot of your ships in photos and not only in drawings
November 18, 200618 yr Governor Lady Washington aka USS Enterprise(from Star Trek Generations)This is the progress on her so far and i should have it completed soon as i fill in all the insides of the ship. When can we be expecting the completion? Shame on you Mr. Phes. Forgetting such a good Star Trek movie (loved the scene were the Enterprise crashed on a planet). Such a good movie? Are we talking about the same movie that wasted Captain Kirk's life? His demise could have been so much more but no. This is best left for another forum however. I didn't realise immediatly that this was the ship from that movie. See, you're as bad as me X-D
November 19, 200618 yr i seem to notice in your drawings that the hull is white on top of brown, wich i dont belive exsists......are you thinking about modding it with say....electrical tape or painting it? or are you going to improvise. i'd say take a armada flag ship hull and put white lectral tape on the blue parts, wicch i think will look good.
November 19, 200618 yr Nope, you can actually take the top off of the hull and mix and match. I believe, somewhere, there was some thread mentioned about this
November 19, 200618 yr i know, but there is no white top part for a hull, so you might just yous and armad flagship hull and put white tape over the blue to gat an all white hull...
November 20, 200618 yr Author If i were to make her in real life id take the top layer off spray paint her very lightly and then re attach. More pictures probably today i just have been preoccupied.
November 21, 200618 yr So many errors in your post Norrington :-/ . Anyhoo, oh. I guess I forgot that there wasn't a white top, ah well. Electrical tape will work, and looks pretty good. I'm not tooo fond of painting hull pieces due to their rareity.
November 21, 200618 yr Governor The Lady Washing is really going to be constructed is it? If not then it can be any colours Admiral Starwind wishes. For example: So my question to Admiral Starwind is: Why haven't you made the hull white?
November 29, 200618 yr Author didnt know how sorry bout the absence ive had a viral throat infection which has knocked me on my megablocks hope to post again soon
November 30, 200618 yr Eurobricks Emperor Admiral Starwind has the plague! We must quarantine him immediately! Aaron Morse seems to have it also 8-|
December 3, 200618 yr Author Yeah its brutal and i'm still down for count im on max dosage pain killers right now its um fun.....anyways just letting ya know im still sick
