Darkdragon Posted April 25, 2012 Posted April 25, 2012 [pid][/pid]213C [bloggedcp][/bloggedcp] I found this project while surfing around some Flickr groups. I really like all the details in the scene and statue with the hollow base is really great. I like the fact that the vegetation screams "island" but he did not overdo it and it looks really natural. ZCerberus Posted April 25, 2012 Posted April 25, 2012 Nice find. I like the dark gray statue (and its base) and the water. Some nice detailing, like the little birds as well. I look forward to your blog. Quote
Big Cam Posted April 25, 2012 Posted April 25, 2012 A great find indeed. I've seen many of Pirate MOC's in my days and even a few statues, but for me the best part is the cave. It seems so simple but it just looks so natural and it fits the scene. Hopefully this user joins. Quote
Horatio Posted April 25, 2012 Posted April 25, 2012 Looks like it was inspired by the 2004 TV series LOST. Very interesting though- nice find! Quote
Captain Heineken Posted April 25, 2012 Posted April 25, 2012 How cool is that?! Very nice MOC. The figure heads are great. Quote
Walter Posted April 26, 2012 Posted April 26, 2012 Great find darkdragon! I really love the way he added so many details, yet balanced everything out so as not too make it look too messy! I really hope the builder joins, as he's got some mad skills. Quote
Scrubs Posted April 28, 2012 Posted April 28, 2012 Pretty cool scene! I particularly like the second photo with zoom in the treasure cave under the statue. Nice feature. Quote
