Drake, promoted to the top of the order as he still hasn't learnt about free hits, attacks Snowy, who barks another Flamepot (F) into existence (same stats as others, 25 health). This puts off Erik, who swings and misses. Nagure goes into a long awaited frenzy (-9), hitting Snowy, extinguishing Flamepots C and E, and weakening the newly created Flamepot F. This allows Mizuki to change her target to Flamepot F, and the Rogue takes full advantage, plunging her dagger into the fire (-19), extinguishing it and finding 19 gold pieces to boot. Sorrow gets a hit on Snowy (-9), and the Guardian is nearly spent. The battle continues! From around the top of the mountainside 3 children appear. They cry when they see the destroyed remnants of Snowy but once again the Yeti-ness of Nagure enthralls them. You have found the remaining missing children! Images now added. I was particularly pleased with the way the sled turned out. I'm in a semi-decent mood because of that wonderful snow, so: Grand potion and 15 gold to Mizuki, Pheonix Essence and 15 gold to Nagure, 40 gold to Sorrow, Drake, and Eric. As sorrow always did, I'll cling on to this rickety old toy sled. "Talk" to the maginastra? Don't you mean "execute the maginastra brutally"? Hlin weeps tears of joy as he checks his daughter over, but she, like all the other lost children, is not injured. "These are the last of the children of Ve'er that had gone missing. Our small town owes you heroes a huge debt. I will get these children home to their parents, and make sure Vell is safe. As far as I am concerned, the job you were hired for has been completed. If you wanted to leave this place and not come back, I would take you to the station and grant you your payment, but I am eager to see this Maginastra and see what he has to say for himself. Plaese discuss your next move and I will return s soon as I can." With that, he leaves the magical mansion again, hugging his daughter fiercely and making sure the other two children are following. But they weren't. They are in pitch blackness, and with their eyes just blinded, no-one can see a thing. What would the party like to do? Quote

Do the party want to look for this in the dark or still try to leave to get the torch? Quote

I assumed as the spear is a bit longer than Erik, and assuming he is average height, say 5 foot 10, plus arms, that gives him maybe almost 7 feet reach (being perhaps somewhat optimistic, but at least 6). That is probably enough to reach something "several" feet away? Quote

However it does allow the two the chance to search the area for the metallic object whilst not making too much noise. Erik grabs what feels like a key with his free hand. Quote
