If my memory is correct, we got the parasol from Peggy, then the fallen leaf from Sandy, the toy lamb from Buzzy, and the sled from Snowy. If the doors only let you into each realm once, then perhaps they make you go into each realm in order? That would imply that the order is: parasol, leaf, lamb, sled. And if that is correct, we don't need to worry about which one goes in first."

"Or, when the armour first spoke to us, it said 'leave now.' Maybe the leaf goes first? "

"...Did you not hear the part about the seasons? Each realm represented a season, as did the item within. if we take this into acount, the order should be Leaf, Sled, Lamb (Sheep are herded in spring and mate), and Parasol (blocks the summer heat).

If you can figure out which item should go in first and a reason for it, I may agree with you. However, while your idea about the items each representing a different season seems good, it gives us no clue as to which item goes first."

"Maybe you are right, Syntax, and the items do match seasons, but perhaps the order has something to do with the clothes of the children. - I believe the first child we met was dressed for winter, although the place he was in certainly didn't warrant that sort of clothing. The second was dressed either for autumn or spring, with the next child dressed for either spring or autumn. And the last child was dressed for summer, despite being in the snow, I think."

(and page 21, the light shirt and bare arms implies summer.)

It's a sequence, there are no clues, inscriptions or anything beyond what is already provided. One of you has stated the correct answer.

Sorry guys, I know we have at least two Aussies here and the seasons as we learned them in England might be moved along due to our winter being their summer, which I believe is where the confusion is. It's interesting that xxlrocka give the sequence in the order I was expecting as he is also from England.

I think that this is the right solution. I am sorry for being confused with the seasons. In my home village there is only winter, winter and more winter.

What did you expect from a yeti? Warm days full of sunshine? It's freezing day and night. We are the only species that is brave or crazy enough to live there. We do however find it nice to be away from the rest of the world and you humans fighting over everything thinking you're so good. You quarrel and fight with each other when there are criminals running around and you are too bothered about what other people are doing to actually do anything yourself.
