lightningtiger Posted April 29, 2012 Posted April 29, 2012 Cool ice cream van and AWESOME realistic school bus 'lego-maniac', can't wait for your next pieces of genius.....Brick On ! Quote
Faefrost Posted April 29, 2012 Posted April 29, 2012 (edited) The bus is gorgeous. Wonderfully done. So many little details especially on the roof. The ice cream van is really nice, but I can't shake the feeling that it is missing something? Like an evil Dominic demon clown or some such? ( sorry, sorry I obviously read way too much of the wrong sorts of things. ) Edited April 30, 2012 by Faefrost Quote
lego-maniac Posted April 30, 2012 Author Posted April 30, 2012 Thanks LT ! Faefrost : you're right, this moc smell too much poney for me too but this is an order of my 3 years old Daughter a bit difficult to scare her with ugly clown or other monster. Maybe an adult version soon ;) Quote
Vincent Kessels Posted May 19, 2012 Posted May 19, 2012 The American School Bus looks great, but the Ice Cream Van is brilliant! I really like the round shape of the Ice Cream Van, and the colors are perfect. It looks a bit to big for minifigs, but it is perfect for the new friends figures. Quote
LEGO Family Posted May 19, 2012 Posted May 19, 2012 These are cool. Especially the icecream truck. Really like the color scheme for that. Great job. :) Quote
Konajra Posted May 19, 2012 Posted May 19, 2012 Nice school bus. Good use of the plate 1 x 6 train end. And a colorfull Ice cream van. Quote
JopieK Posted May 19, 2012 Posted May 19, 2012 Both of them are really nice, but I like the ice cream van best. Thanks for the exploded view! Quote

The Blue Brick Posted May 19, 2012 Posted May 19, 2012 The bus is very beautiful. It is very detailed and realistic. The ice cream van is great too, very colorful. Quote
lego-maniac Posted May 19, 2012 Author Posted May 19, 2012 thanks all for your feedback ! those creation belong to a big dio that will be presented at Fanabrique 2012 in June (France) The dio is actually 32X5 stud long and 48 depth. I'll keep the dio secret until the convention but be sure I'll present it here in July ;) For the exploded view, no problem, hope it could help ! Quote
Henchmen4Hire Posted June 8, 2012 Posted June 8, 2012 That bus is badass, it looks like it could bust through a barricade and keep on ticking. Must be the chunky wheels haha Quote
TenorPenny Posted June 8, 2012 Posted June 8, 2012 You have a wide range of technique and skill on show here, well done! Quote
Solscud007 Posted June 8, 2012 Posted June 8, 2012 The school bus looks great. But the mirrors look too bulky. Quote
jeffjcc Posted June 10, 2012 Posted June 10, 2012 Awesome. Just awesome. I love all of the details on the front of the bus, they look great. I also love the number 2 on the back. I remember waiting for the school bus after school, and being able to identify the bus I needed to be on by its number. Great detail! Quote
lego-maniac Posted June 11, 2012 Author Posted June 11, 2012 (edited) thanks all for your comments guys, really please you enjoy the bus Glad you enjpoy all details and you're right, it's not really a school bus for kids but for badguys who want to use it for bad things ;) EDIT / Thanks a lot for indexation ;) Edited June 11, 2012 by lego-maniac Quote
