xwingyoda Posted November 19, 2006 Posted November 19, 2006 Oh shut up you US members :-P I have to wait till december 8th arghhhhhhh :-D Enjoy and write great reviews for us who have to wait before gaming on !! Wii On !! *yoda* Quote
Scouty Posted November 20, 2006 Posted November 20, 2006 Hey! Hey! Here ars some of my revies so far!. WiiSports: For all games: All these games are fun, loads and loads of fun. But most of them don't require a knunchuck. Only for Boxing. In there is Tennis, bowling boxing, baseball, and golf. I played all of them and with a partner. I give these a 9/10. RedSteel: This was a fun game. I haven't touched campaign but tried Multiplayer. It was fun, and the level I was, well there were guns everywhere! I had trouble controling the position of the gun and actually shooting my opponent, thus in the result of me dying :-) ,alot! From so far, I give 8/10. Zelda: Wow, just wow. It looks really good. For the short time I have played, it was fun(Epona is HUGE). Though no sword in the beginning, I got a little horse jumping and goat herding done. Also did some fishing. Finishing in this game is really fun. I give a 9/10 so far. Also on notice, there is a bar that goes ontop of your TV to recieve the signals from your controller, If you have a black TV, the thing practically dissappeers. More on notice, the power supply is like a miniature version of the Xbox 360's. It's like a baby! The system itself is sweet looking and also sorta of like a mini 360. Though with lots of stuff to say, I'll leave a surprise to all of you poor souls who have to wait longer. Unless you want it X-D . You may PM me. Wii on!...Wiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii Quote
Kikuichimonji Posted November 20, 2006 Posted November 20, 2006 Hm, I really wonder if I should get Red Steel since it got a lot of bad reviews. Also, did anyone get Wii Play? I'm thinking of picking it up since I want a second Wiimote anyway. Quote
JoeMI6 Posted November 21, 2006 Posted November 21, 2006 Yeah, like I said. I feel the same about Red Steel. I'll probably get Banana Blitz or Trauma Center, they seem like good games. Quote

I'd like to get Wii play, but it comes out in January for us. :'-( I don't know what to do until then... wait I can play Zelda! :-P Quote
Lost Viking Posted November 23, 2006 Author Posted November 23, 2006 Zelda is amazing guys. I just beat the first temple. Any questions on the game? Quote
Kikuichimonji Posted November 23, 2006 Posted November 23, 2006 Zelda is amazing guys. I just beat the first temple. Any questions on the game? Just don't post any spoilers please. I want to be amazed when I play it, like I was amazed when I got to the Temple of Time in TWW. Black and white, and time was frozen. And when you pulled out the Master Sword, color returned and time was no longer frozen. That was one of the best gaming experiences I've had, I hope TP will give me another :-D Quote
Scouty Posted November 24, 2006 Posted November 24, 2006 Zelda is just amazing! On my way to the next temple! Quote
Kikuichimonji Posted November 24, 2006 Posted November 24, 2006 I'm gonna call my local store and pre-order some games (only pre-ordered the system so far). Guess I'm gonna go for Zelda, Red Steel, Wii Play (extra controller!) and an extra nunchuck. Or is Red Steel really not worth it? Quote
JoeMI6 Posted November 24, 2006 Posted November 24, 2006 Red Steel seems like a bit of a gamble. I was originally going to get it, but then I saw the reviews. Scouting around, it seems like it is only brought down by launch-title disease. It's been rushed, and is not really as polished as it could be. I'm going to wait on a friend's opinion to see if it's really worth it. Quote
Kikuichimonji Posted November 24, 2006 Posted November 24, 2006 So what does everyone that has Red Steel think about it? Worth my money or not? And why? Quote
Lost Viking Posted November 25, 2006 Author Posted November 25, 2006 Well I rented it and played through about half of it pretty quick. It is a great and fun game although the controls are a BIG problem. I would say to try before you buy this one. ;-) Quote
JoeMI6 Posted November 27, 2006 Posted November 27, 2006 I've preordered Red Steel. A review in my Nintendo magazine I get convinced me. I'll tell you guys my opinion when I get it. Quote
Kikuichimonji Posted November 28, 2006 Posted November 28, 2006 I've preordered Red Steel. A review in my Nintendo magazine I get convinced me. I'll tell you guys my opinion when I get it. Please do. I really need to know if the controls screw the entire game up or if it's a problem you can overcome. I won't be getting it at launch, but i might pick it up before the end of the year (if it's any good). Quote
Lost Viking Posted December 1, 2006 Author Posted December 1, 2006 Well, it is a good game but you must always be pointing at the center of the screen or else you will start spinning uncontrollably. Quote
Scouty Posted December 1, 2006 Posted December 1, 2006 It's like there is a small box in the middle of the screen, if your pointer isn't there, like LV said, you've gone crazy. One thing I don't like, though, is how the hand looks when you turn the gun, it looks like you have barely any bones there. Quote
